MSCHF and Mattel Creations team up to release a nostalgic Hot Wheels collectible inspired by 1990s Japanese imports.
MSCHF has taken the streetwear scene by storm, making waves with its bold, off-the-wall designs like the viral ‘Big Red Boots.’ Today, MSCHF continues to put its unique spin on apparel, footwear, and collectibles in collaboration with the biggest artists and brands in the industry. As part of its newest upcoming release, MSCHF is proud to partner with Mattel Creations to debut its first-ever Hot Wheels collectible, featuring an out-of-the-box design approach.
MSCHF and Mattel Creations are bringing some serious nostalgia to collectors with their latest MSCHF Hot Wheels Not Wheels. The die-cast car is a tribute to the well-loved, beat-up cars many of us started out driving, and it’s packed with personality. Inspired by 1990s Japanese imports, this little car has seen some miles, complete with dents, rust, and all the quirks of a well-driven vehicle. With a mix of Real Riders classic tires, a yellow spare, and even a rusted wheel hub, this car is anything but ordinary.
The Not Wheels car measures 76.5 mm long, 32.2 mm wide, and 24.0 mm high, making it the perfect addition to any collection. It doesn’t roll, but it sure tells a story, with a cracked windshield, dirty rear window that cheekily says “Wash Me,” and even parking tickets and a seat belt inside.
