2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series Sets New Nürburgring Record
Much like we saw earlier from Team Corvette, the Mercedes-AMG team has a dedicated engineering garage at the Nürburgring. With the goal of beating the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, driver Marco Engel was clocked at 6:43.616. This is over a second faster than the Italian, and over 10 ticks faster than the Aston Martin V8 Vantage from 2019. Within a 24-hour period, he also pushed the AMG GT 63 S sedan to the top of the list, knocking the Panamera Turbo S to 2nd place.
