Driving in snow is not fun. It may look pretty in pictures, but the stuff is cold and makes for treacherous driving conditions.
Ever since the creation of vehicles, engineers have been working on ways to make driving in snow safer and safer. For most, the idea of studded tires or chained tires is the first thing that comes to mind. Bjørn Nyland and his YouTube channel decided to see test a Hummer with studded tires against a Tesla Model X with studless tires to see which would perform better on a steep snow-covered hill. At around the 9-minute mark of the video below, the two SUVs attempt to climb up a mountain and the result was pretty surprising. Check it out for yourself by clicking play below.
