The design of the URWERK UR-220RG derives inspiration from the 1980s and iconic shows like Miami Vice. Its 43.8mm case is crafted from 4N Red Gold with a transparent sapphire crystal that beautifully displays the complex dial and its functions. Being a stylish sports watch that embodies a luxurious style, the UR-220RG is pressure tested to withstand a 30-meter water resistance for days out on the water.
The dial presents URWERK’s patented revolving satellite design that uses three rotating cubes to decipher its minute functions, while additional information and functions are found throughout its automotive-inspired construction. The limited-edition UR-220RG obtains its power supply from URWERK’s in-house Caliber UR-7.20 manual-winding movement, capable of producing a lengthy 48-hour power reserve. A black DLC-treated titanium backcase acts as a blank canvas for the commemorative engravings that signify the last model of the 220 series. With 80s Miami vibes as the focus, UWERK fits the UR-220RG with a comfortable white rubber strap and velcro fastening system. The all-new URWERK UR-220RG is limited to only 25-pieces worldwide and is currently available through an authorized dealer for CHF 149,000 (estimated $148,841).
