The first continuous production model to incorporate Grand Seiko’s ever-brilliant steel.
Nowadays, watchmakers incorporate a story or creative inspiration behind the design of a luxury timepiece. Along with character, a watch’s personality holds the ability to connect with an end-user on a deeper level than a common wristwatch. The creative team at Grand Seiko implements this approach into its collection, focusing its dial design around different aspects of nature and the seasons. Grand Seiko is proud to present the all-new SLGH013 as part of its Heritage Collection 44GS, featuring a design that portrays the seasonal transition from winter to spring. The new SLGH013 showcases a subtle 40mm case made from Ever-Brilliant Steel, high-grade steel with a bright appearance and high level of corrosion resistance.

The dial takes on a light blue texturized finish that represents snow melting in Spring on Mount Iwate. The one-of-a-kind design accurately depicts the seasonal change from the 2,038-meter-high peak that overlooks the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi, where all Grand Seiko mechanical models are made. Delivering power to the SLGH013 is Grand Seiko’s in-house 9SA5 Hi-Beat 36000 automatic movement, capable of holding an 80-hour power reserve while unworn. The SLGH013 comes fit on an ever-brilliant steel bracelet with a matching folding clasp. The all-new Grand Seiko SLGH013 is currently available through an authorized dealer with a price tag of $9,500. Check back into duPont REGISTRY for more upcoming luxury watch news and releases.
