Created in collaboration with the Chinese artist Chen Fenwan, this limited edition of 88 pieces is the perfect fusion of tradition and modernity.
Showcasing artistry and creativity through its collection of luxury watches, Hublot continues to commemorate milestones and celebrations with designs that push the boundaries of traditional watchmaking. Today, Hublot is proud to draw inspiration for the Chinese art of paper cutting for the release of its all-new Spirit of Big Bang ‘Titanium Dragon’ that honors the Chinese Calendar’s year of the dragon for 2024. The Spirit of Big Bang’s 42mm tonneau case is crafted from lightweight titanium and houses a multi-level dial construction resembling the layered effects of papercutting. Through artist Chen Fenwan’s vision, the vibrant blue, white, and pink dragon dial motif features scales that extend onto its comfortable black rubber strap.
At the heart of Hublot’s newest horological creation lies an in-house HUB1710 automatic movement, equipped with a time-only function and a power reserve of 50 hours. A transparent sapphire caseback offers a secondary view of its intricate movement in action, while the outer case displays individual engravings for each of the limited 88 watches. In addition to its colorful, dragon-scale rubber strap, Hublot also includes a titanium-grey velcro fabric strap within its packaging. The all-new Hublot Spirit of Big Bang Titanium Dragon is now available online and in-store for $29,500.
