Two industry giants team up once again.
While the traditional side of watchmaking stays hidden behind closed doors, emphasizing a luxurious boutique-style environment, the new age of watchmaking invites creative collaborations that bring brands together to create truly unique examples. It’s a forward-thinking approach that Max Büsser and MB&F have long since adopted, welcoming brands and industry friends like L’Épée 1839 and Stephen McDonnell into their inner circle to make waves in the watch world. Today, MB&F is proud to continue its ongoing partnership with BVLGARI by revealing the Serpenti as its second collaboration watch.
Designed by BVLGARI’s Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani and MB&F’s Maximilian Büsser, the Serpenti features a complex, fluid case with five sapphire crystals inspired by both a mythical serpent and automotive bodywork. Inside, the movement breaks the norm with revolving hour and minute domes, resembling the snake’s eyes. Beyond its look and feel, the BVLGARI x MB&F Serpenti is a technical marvel, featuring lightweight aluminum domes and an intricate balance bridge. The case, which challenges traditional watchmaking with its intricate curves and stepped sapphire crystal, is offered in three striking versions: titanium with blue domes, 18K rose gold with green, and black PVD-coated stainless steel with red. Starting at $148,000, MB&F’s release is limited to only 33 pieces of each version, making it a true collector’s piece for any passionate horologist.
