Since its humble beginnings as an independent watchmaker, URWERK Geneve operates in a forward-thinking mentality that focuses creating horologic art. URWERK is proud to continue that legacy with its introduction of the UR-100V Stardust, a breathtaking timepiece adorned with diamonds, embodying the essence of stars and constellations. Martin Frei, URWERK’s Artistic Director, describes this stunning creation as an embodiment of the universe’s stellar particles, present in all forms of matter. The UR-100V Stardust’s steel case is meticulously factory-set with over 400 diamonds, carefully selected in diverse formats, using the technique of snow-setting. The result is an outstanding pattern resembling the captivating night sky.
Felix Baumgartner, co-founder and master watchmaker, emphasizes the purposeful arrangement of the diamonds over their size. Beyond its vibrant aesthetics, the UR-100V Stardust boasts spatial elements, in line with the 100 collection’s theme. Kilometer counters on the timepiece track represent Earth’s rotational and orbital distances, symbolizing its cosmic journey through space. The UR-100V Stardust is powered by URWERK’s in-house self-winding UR 12.01 movement. Tying into its comfort-focused design, URWERK fits its newest creation on a Baltimore blue fabric strap with a steel pin buckle set with 22 diamonds. The new URWERK UR-100V Stardust not only captivates with its diamonds but also engages with the celestial rhythms that shape our universe.
