Zenvo boasts the most powerful V12 engine in a road car.
Zenvo, known for its boundary-pushing hypercars is one of the most intriguing and exclusive manufacturers within the automotive industry. However, its newest hypercar, the Aurora, has the makings of the greatest creation from Zenvo yet. Powered by an incredibly powerful V12 engine, the new Zenvo Aurora will combine incredible levels of power and agility to be a truly groundbreaking high-performance machine.
The engine is the most captivating aspect of the Zenvo Aurora, and Zenvo has previewed it, showcasing it as the most powerful V12 engine to ever be fitted to a road car. Named ‘Mjølner,’ the engine was developed with MAHLE Powertrain’s team. The 6.6-liter displacement of the V12 engine is paired with the incredible power of four turbochargers and an electric hybrid system to develop a massive total 1,850 horsepower.
However, Mjølner’s engineering excellence isn’t simply demonstrated by power and performance. Using MAHLE’s Jet Ignition system, the engine, while incredibly powerful, is designed for road use and to meet future global emissions regulations. The engine offers spirited driving without compromising on efficiency.
In addition, Mjølner demonstrates the first use of a new modular engine architecture from Zenvo Automotive, which will be developed for use in different layouts in future Zenvo hypercars. Thanks to the incredible engineering prowess of Zenvo Automotive and MAHLE Powertrain, the new Mjølner powertrain is a leap forward in automotive performance excellence for the entire industry.
