Surprisingly enough, the Acura NSX road car and NSX GT3 Evo race car have quite a bit in common, as is explained in Acura’s latest video. In the video, found up above, we get the chance to see how these two cars stack up against each other.
Trent Hindman, race driver from Meyer Shank Racing, takes out his #86 NSX GT3 Evo and an NSX out for tests. He did this to show just how impeccable the road-going NSX is when compared to its racing brethren. Due to restrictions in racing, the race version of the NSX is limited in various ways where the standard NSX isn’t. Many may think that the race car would outperform the NSX in every way, but that’s definitely not true. For example, the NSX absolutely destroys the GT3 version when it comes to 0 to 60 mph runs.
