Alfa Romeo’s new supercar is taking shape.
Alfa Romeo, known for its luxurious and beautiful Italian cars that boast a spirited driving character. However, the historic brand has an incredible racing legacy, which includes historic supercars that are downright legendary. One of those, the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, has been reimagined as a new supercar that was revealed recently as a limited-edition modern recreation for discerning collectors.
Now, the new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, of which only 33 customer examples will be made, is in development, with the “00” prototype of the new supercar visiting the Nardò Technical Center for high-performance testing. There, engineers were able to verify various performance targets of the new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, including its top speed of 207 mph.
The goal for Alfa Romeo was to create a modern, high-performance supercar that also boasted enviable agility and iconic Alfa Romeo sound, and with its twin-turbocharged V6 engine, the 33 Stradale does just that. As development continues, the first of the 33 customer-destined Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale examples is set to be delivered in December.
