Alfa Romeo is one of the most historic names in the automotive world, and its legacy was one that helped forge the Italian automotive industry that is celebrated by enthusiasts today. Today, Alfa Romeo’s lineup builds on a legacy of racing icons and cherished road cars from decades past with impressive technology, gorgeous design, and spirited driving character.

A new Alfa Romeo model, a compact SUV, is on the horizon, and a teaser image has just been released, showcasing the rear quarter of the upcoming model. The model will be based on Stellantis’ STLA Medium Platform and is said to feature a multi-energy range of powertrains when it launches. Previously announced during the Stellantis Investor Day 2026 on May 21, the new “C-SUV” is part of the Fastlane 2030 plan the company has set out for the near future.

The teaser image was unveiled at the National Automotive Industry Roundtable, which was organized by the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), and the chief operating officer of Stellantis Enlarged Europe, Emanuele Cappellano, unveiled the teaser.

The new Alfa Romeo model would join a lineup that currently consists of the Giulia and Stelvio, a sedan and SUV pair that combines style, luxury, and performance, as well as the compact Tonale SUV, and the Junior, which isn’t sold in the United States market. In addition to those, Alfa Romeo has also created the 33 Stradale, a new, ultra-exclusive supercar that references a performance icon from the ‘60s. Only 33 examples of the 33 Stradale are set to be produced, each combining bespoke design with impressive performance, exclusivity, and cherished legacy. With its new upcoming SUV set for a 2027 unveiling, Alfa Romeo is on the cusp of opening a new chapter in its long history.
