For their latest endeavor, they want us to forego the pavement and get dirty. Pulling out all the stops to build a capable rally machine, the Ariel Nomad R is limited to 5 examples. Starting with a supercharged Honda Type R engine, a Tarmac 6-speed sequential drives the rear wheels. An aggressive 4.42 differential sends 335 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque to the ground.
The preload on the differential is easily changed while stopped, and it allows for perfect drifting in any condition. Other goodies include Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks, and a top speed of 121 mph. At current exchange ratios, pricing starts close to $82,000.
