Jensen International Automotive Teases A New V8 Grand Tourer Inspired By The Interceptor

By Tyler Rampersaud –  January 14, 2026

New Jensen Interceptor-Inspired Luxury GT Teased

Jensen Motors, an iconic name in the British automotive world during much of the 20th century, was widely known for its Interceptor grand touring model, which, throughout the ‘60s and ‘70s forged a cherished legacy with Carrozzeria Touring design and powerful V8 engines under the hood. Remaining an icon among enthusiasts, the Interceptor’s legacy is that of a beloved classic with performance brawn, but Jensen International Automotive is now poised to give the legendary, historic marque a new chapter. A new luxury grand touring from Jensen International Automotive, or JIA, is set to launch this year. The announcement from the manufacturer says that the model is a clean-sheet design, the first from JIA, inspired by the Interceptor of the 1960s and 1970s. Manufactured in exclusive numbers in the UK, the car will feature a contemporary design inspired by the classic, with an aluminum chassis and a bespoke V8 engine, with a fully analog driving experience that pays homage to the original. Handcrafted by JIA, the new grand tourer will surely achieve collector-worthy status, especially among enthusiasts and fans of the original Jensen Interceptor. With decades of legacy and a winning formula for purist-focused performance, the new grand touring high-performance luxury car from Jensen International Automotive is already one of the most anticipated automotive reveals of 2026. Nearly Four Years On and Gran Turismo 7 Continues to Thri...

With Christmas upon us and 2025 coming to a close, Gran Turismo 7 finds itself in a position few modern racing games ever reach. Four years after launch (March, 2022), the game continues to grow. Gran Turismo has long been regarded as one of the top games for console-based simulation racing, and GT7’s current momentum reinforces why that reputation still holds. GT7 is available exclusively on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It never launched on PC and was never bundled into PlayStation Plus. While franchises like Assetto Corsa Competizione that focus narrowly on hardcore sim racing, or Forza Motorsport and F1, which lean heavily on platform reach and subscription exposure, Polyphony Digital chose a slower, more deliberate route. The payoff? Monthly active users now exceed two million, and new players continue to join well beyond the typical lifecycle window. Free monthly updates consistently add cars like the sleek-looking Polestar 5. Larger expansions like Spec II and Spec III, followed by the first paid Power Pack DLC, which launched earlier this month keeps players engaged. Also, GT7 occupies a rare middle ground. You get accurate physics modeling, tire behavior that rewards precision, and meaningful car setup depth, without the intimidation factor that can sometimes be intimidating for casual players. This broader appeal is clearly reflected in the sales figures. Gran Turismo’s franchise surpassed 100 million units sold worldwide in June this year, with GT7 alone estimated at over 14 million units. The World Series now draws around eight million spectators per event, positioning the game uniquely between hardcore simulators like iRacing and more accessible console racers. To close out the year, Polyphony is also running an end-of-year connection campaign that offers 350,000 credits and premium roulette tickets simply for logging in on five separate days before December 26, 2025. Next month, January 2026, will bring the Hyundai Elantra N TCR to the Gr.4 category, adding a modern Front Wheel Drive race car developed and tested by Hyundai Motorsport. Looking ahead, the " title="YouTube video" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen> with Yas Marina Circuit already playable in GT7. As GT8 remains on the horizon, possibly aligned with 2027 and the series’ 30th anniversary, Gran Turismo 7 continues to prove that disciplined updates that not only include cars but also popular race circuits, simulation credibility, and respect for the player are what sustain a racing franchise long term. A large, illuminated Delta Marine Noverra yacht docked at a marina at night, with tall city buildings and lights reflected on the water—an iconic scene of five-star living and luxury yacht charter perfection.

By Jordan Aquistapace –  December 22, 2025

Ikonic Yachts Showcases Five-Star Living at Sea for $245,...

A closer look at Delta Marine’s 156-foot Noverra, a world cruiser chartering for $245,000 per week this winter. Ultra-luxury living has officially moved offshore. As advancements in yacht design and engineering continue to blur the line between five-star resorts and private vessels, today’s top-tier superyachts deliver Michelin-level dining, spa-like interiors, and cross-continent range directly to the open ocean. At $245,000 per week, the Delta Marine–built Noverra lands squarely in that sweet spot where serious craftsmanship meets real-world usability. Offered for winter charter through Ikonic Yachts, the 156-foot aims to deliver an unwavering experience that appeals to seasoned charter clients, those who value range, comfort, and thoughtful design just as much as polished teak and champagne sunsets. Built in 2011 by the respected American yard Delta Marine and redesigned in 2021 and 2022, Noverra arrives fully sorted and ready for long-range exploration. From the outside, Noverra’s lines are modern without being overstyled, a balance that’s increasingly hard to find in contemporary luxury yachts. Its composite hull and GRP superstructure provide strength and efficiency, while a generous 8.7-meter beam and shallow 2.5-meter draft offer impressive seakeeping and access to more intimate cruising grounds. This is a yacht designed to cross oceans comfortably, then slip into anchorages that larger, deeper vessels simply can’t reach. It’s a practical advantage that becomes very real once you’re plotting itineraries beyond the usual postcard stops. Step inside and the tone shifts from expedition-ready to residential calm. The interior by Delta Design Group combines European chestnut, walnut, wenge, and Macassar ebony with a neutral palette that feels more like a modern waterfront home than a traditional superyacht. Large windows flood the main salon with natural light, keeping the space relaxed and livable rather than overly formal. Accommodations are arranged for up to 12 guests across five staterooms, anchored by a full-beam master suite on the main deck with 180-degree views, a private office, and a generous en suite ideal for owners or charterers planning extended time onboard. Outdoor spaces are where Noverra really earns its charter reputation. Shaded al fresco dining, multiple lounging zones, a flybridge Jacuzzi, and a well-proportioned bar setup make it easy to spend entire days outside without feeling exposed or crowded. Whether it’s long lunches at anchor or quiet evenings underway, the layout favors flexibility over spectacle. Underway, twin MTU 16V4000 engines deliver a comfortable 12–13 knot cruise and a top speed near 21 knots, while zero-speed stabilizers keep things composed both at sea and on station. With a range of roughly 3,300 nautical miles, Noverra is built for itineraries that go well beyond the ordinary. At $245,000 per week, Noverra offers an ultra-luxury yacht experience that is considered rather than contrived. Source: Ikonic Yachts

Shop Porsche Design's 2025 Holiday Gift Guide

For those of us who grew up memorizing option codes, engine notes, and the subtle differences between air-cooled eras, the holidays usually turn into an excuse to lean a little harder into our obsessions. Porsche Design fits perfectly into that mindset. When Ferdinand Alexander Porsche launched the brand in 1972, it  was about applying the same clarity of purpose found in a 911 to everyday objects. Strip away anything unnecessary, keep what works, and let function lead the way. That thinking has aged incredibly well, especially as Porsche Design continues to sit somewhere between performance hardware and understated style, never fully drifting into fashion, never feeling stuck in the past. That philosophy comes through clearly in this year’s Porsche Design Holiday Gift Guide. The eyewear feels like a natural place to start, with familiar styles like the P’8478 and P’8479 sunglasses showing up in finishes like blue, rose gold, and red that add personality without losing their technical edge. The watches, however, are where Porsche Design truly resonates with longtime enthusiasts. The Chronograph 1, whether in all black, Utility spec, or the 1975 Limited Edition, could only come from someone who cared more about legibility and balance than trends. Even the Roadster Aluminum luggage follows that same sense, with clean surfaces and materials that feel closer to motorsport than luxury travel. The Porsche x SMEG appliances bring a bit of Stuttgart into the kitchen without feeling gimmicky, while the Porsche x Norrøna outerwear is heavily into real-world performance, with insulated jackets and pants you’d actually want to wear while skiing on the slopes. The smaller accessories include 911 and RS 2.7 ornaments, a thermal travel mug, an umbrella, a yoga mat, and a simple crest cap. Taken as a whole, the Porsche Design Holiday Gift Guide reads less like a wish list and more like a snapshot of how Porsche people live. Bugatti Tourbillon Interior Explained: A Hypercar Designe...

Bugatti has been releasing a series of episodes over the past year, highlighting the engineering, design, and execution behind the Tourbillon, the French marque’s latest hypercar, all 250 examples of which have already been spoken for.  So far, the series has covered everything from aerodynamics to exterior design influences and even featured CEO Mate Rimac himself giving an overview of the new V16 engine. The latest episode focuses on some of the details of the Tourbillon’s exquisite interior, its deliberate pursuit of timelessness, and the watch-inspired gauge cluster from which this Bugatti hypercar takes its name.  “Just like any precious timepiece, a Bugatti vehicle needs to be timeless; these objects pass from generation to generation. With the Tourbillon, it needs to preserve its own character, not following any trends. That’s why, in this digital age, we decided to pursue analogue technology – where the art of watchmaking meets digital detox.” -. Design Director Frank Heyl, Bugatti. Inside the Tourbillon, Bugatti’s iconic center line and C line converge to form a clear division between driver and passenger, a detail also seen in the outgoing W16-powered Chiron. A horizontal color split reinforces the separation, while newly developed fabrics for the seats and door panels sit alongside supple leather. Bugatti refers to this philosophy as “car couture,” translating the logic of haute couture into a tailored automotive interior. The analog theme culminates in the steering wheel and instrument cluster. The fixed hub steering wheel allows the rim to rotate freely around a stationary airbag while integrating controls and paddle shifters. Beneath it sits a fully analog gauge cluster, developed with Swiss master watchmakers, featuring milled aluminum casings, skeletonized mechanisms, and crystal displays. Speaking of displays, the central screen does exist, although it mostly stays hidden away behind the dashboard and can be deployed at the flick of a button. “The role of an interior designer is to, of course, design a full vehicle cabin from the first sketches all the way to production. But we need to consider many aspects in this journey – not only Bugatti’s DNA, and making sure we honor all of the marque’s stylistic cues, but also develop a theme; a user sequence that is understandable.” - Chief Interior Designer Ignacio Martinez, Bugatti. Martinez further states that during the design process, the team also had to take into account critical modern-day safety requirements, while maintaining that core design ethos for a marque like Bugatti, desirability and long-term prestige matter as much as outright performance. In 50 years, a screen and its embedded technology may feel obsolete or unusable. However, with everything connecting back to the world of Horology and that semantic link, it should ensure that the Tourbillon’s cabin stays relevant for decades to come.  View All Bugattis For Sale " width="680"> Images: Bugatti

World’s first Mercedes-Benz branded city By Binghatti to ...

It appears that Mercedes-Benz is no longer content with shaping the way you drive. Now the three-pointed star also wants to shape the way you live. Earlier today, a new luxury real-estate project was announced: the first Mercedes-Benz-branded city, being developed with Dubai-based Binghatti, one of the United Arab Emirates’ (U.A.E.) top developers. Known as Mercedes-Benz Places | Binghatti City, the project is planned for the Meydan district. Set against the spectacular skyline of Dubai, it will take shape as a multi-tower development, spanning roughly 9 million square feet. Now, unlike most branded towers, this project aims to function as a true “city within a city.” The masterplan brings together luxury residences with retail boulevards, cultural and leisure areas, parks, green corridors, wellness and sports zones, dining destinations, and entertainment venues in close proximity to each other. The goal is that daily needs must sit within walking distance, all tied in with intelligent mobility solutions. Futurists from the German marque have envisioned what cities of the future could look like, and this project fits that narrative. For Mercedes-Benz, this project in Dubai also marks a clear evolution of its branded real-estate strategy as part of its global roll‑out of Mercedes‑Benz Places. The company first entered this space with a 65-story residential tower in Downtown Dubai, also being developed with Binghatti. It then expanded to the United States with a project in Miami, developed alongside JDS Development Group, where construction is also in progress, and residences are already on the market.  Binghatti City pushes the concept further, into a connected district that translates brand values into urban planning, which are rooted in Mercedes-Benz’s design language of “Sensual Purity.” The philosophy, familiar to us from the brand’s automotive portfolio, emphasizes clean surfaces, visual restraint, and sculptural form.  Creating extraordinary experiences for our customers is at the core of who we are. With our next branded real estate project, ‘Mercedes-Benz Places – Binghatti City’ in Dubai, we are taking this promise to a new level – shaping destinations where our brand becomes something you can truly call home. - Mathias Geisen, Member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Mathias Geisen and Muhammad Binghatti sign the contract for the joint project "Mercedes-Benz Places | Binghatti City" For Binghatti, the development carries equal weight. It represents the company’s first masterplanned community, a step beyond standalone towers, expanding into large-scale urban ecosystems.  To partner once again with Mercedes‑Benz is a testament to our shared philosophy of excellence, precision, and timeless design. ‘Mercedes‑Benz Places – Binghatti City’ is envisioned as a world-class urban experience, a place where luxury and innovation converge to create a complete city within a city. This masterplan will become one of Dubai’s most distinguished destinations and a true symbol of elevated living. - Muhammad BinGhatti, Chairman, Binghatti Developers. Brand equity continues to reshape luxury real estate. Miami established the automotive blueprint with residential towers from Porsche, Bentley, and Aston Martin. In a category-defining move, duPont Registry Group partnered with Fortune International on a tower designed by Pininfarina exclusively for car collectors. Watchmakers like Audemars Piguet have expanded into hospitality with a luxury hotel in Switzerland. Dubai now ranks second only to Miami in the number of branded residences currently under development. Bugatti has a branded residential tower underway in Business Bay, while aftermarket automotive brands like Mansory and Brabus also announced projects earlier this year. Beyond automotive, the Trump Organization has re-entered the market with an 80-story tower and hotel unveiled by Eric Trump, featuring a planned $1 billion investment and the world’s highest outdoor pool. Jacob & Co. has a 103-storey tower under construction. The watchamer also announced a beachfront development between Dubai and Abu Dhabi back in May. Wynn Resorts is developing the region’s first casino in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, while Nakheel has revived Palm Jebel Ali, expanding the blueprint for what luxury living in the region now looks like.
