Nissan Unleashes The 2024 NISMO Z As A Track-Ready Powerh...

The 2024 Nissan Z NISMO enhances the sports car lineup with increased horsepower, NISMO-tuned suspension, and aerodynamic upgrades. The 2024 Nissan Z NISMO is a head-turner engineered to set lap records on race circuits with its upgraded powertrain and aerodynamic design. Building on the already robust capabilities of its Z Sport and Performance grades, the NISMO version is tailored for those craving next-level excitement and dynamic performance. Under the hood, the twin-turbo 3.0L V6 engine's output jumps to 420 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. The increased power comes courtesy of improved cooling, a revised electronic wastegate control, and an independent ignition spark timing strategy, ensuring robust performance across the rev range. Inside, the driver-focused cockpit features red-anodized engine-start and drive mode buttons, Recaro seats, and a leather and an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, with a sporty red marker at the 12 o'clock position. The Z NISMO stands out with its unique "G-Nose," thin honeycomb mesh grille, and a taller/wider rear spoiler, aimed at improving aerodynamic efficiency. The redesigned front fascia and rear bumper aid in air separation and reduced drag, while a dark metallic gray katana-blade styling element adds an extra flair. The NISMO comes equipped with an enhanced nine-speed automatic transmission that delivers faster and more dynamic shifting for track use. Nissan also introduces a new Sport+ drive mode, offering a racetrack-tuned shift program that takes full advantage of the powertrain's faster downshift capability. Suspension upgrades are equally engineered, with unique stabilizer bars, a stiffer spring rate, and retuned dampers, contributing to confident track-ready performance. Complementing these upgrades are Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX GT600 tires and lightweight, gloss black RAYS 19-inch wheels. The 2024 Nissan Z NISMO is set to go on sale this fall, and while pricing details are still under wraps, one thing is clear, this NISMO is designed to make every drive an exhilarating experience. Nissan Z Proto: The Essence of Z-ness

What once was old is new again Shinichiro Irie joined Nissan's design department in 1993. Since then he has witnessed the end of the line for the Z32 series in the final 300ZX twin turbo. While the 350Z and the 370Z have had a long and popular run, technology has advanced far beyond what they are capable of. After leading Infiniti into a new era he was rewarded with sculpting the lines of a modern Z Car. It looks just a mysterious as the GTR, with the classic lines of the original Datsun 240. Without giving away all the car's secrets, here is a quote from Nissan's latest press release: "I’m looking forward to seeing it mixing in the world with other wonderfully designed cars. For instance, at the Pebble Beach Automotive Week there are many notable cars on display, but the cars driven around town by the attendees are quite impressive. Spending the whole day strolling through the parking areas is as entertaining for me as the event itself. But, when looking at these vehicles, I felt that I still hadn’t created a car that would look at home next to them. Well, with the new Z, I feel that I have finally done it." 2021 Nissan Z-Proto Reveal Teased for September 15th

Remember, remember 15th of September. No, not a sly reference to the Gunpowder Treason, it will be the unveiling of something unprecedented. Aside from the anniversary of the Battle of Britain and my mom's birthday, the 2021 Nissan Z-Proto reveal has been teased for September 15th. Five decades of the Z-Car have seen Datsun evolve into Nissan without losing focus on what American enthusiasts want to drive. The first 240Z arrived in late 1969, and it was cause for alarm for domestic automakers. Having the Latin suffix "Proto", we can deduce it is the start of something all new. This is just what Nissan and Americans need, so stay with us for complete coverage of their new supercar. Browse Nissan GT-R For Sale " width="680">

Nissan 50th Anniversary GT-R50 by Italdesign

Many young enthusiasts only know about the Nissan GT-R from the introduction of the R35 series in 2007. But Nissan and its Datsun predecessors have been building the GT-R for 50 years. Also turning 50 this year is the Italian Coachbuilder Italdesign. Their designs have influenced many production cars, so Nissan gave them a blank canvas to create the GT-R50. In a press release last night, we have learned this gorgeous car is based on a 2018 Nismo Edition. Nissan Vice President Alfonso Albasia said: "How often do you get to ask, 'What if we created a GT-R without limits,' and then actually get to build it? This is a rare window in time when two big moments intersect: 50 years of Italdesign shaping the automotive world and 50 years of Nissan generating excitement through our iconic GT-R."Racers Beware: Japan Just Got a Nissan GT-R Police Car"So to celebrate this convergence, Nissan and Italdesign created this custom GT-R to mark 50 years of engineering leadership." Under the hood, they took inspiration from the aftermarket. The 3.8 liter V6 received forged internals to handle more boost. It offers 710 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque between 3,600 and 5,600 rpm. The press release made no mentions of how many will be built, so stay with us for all your Nissan news.Browse Nissan GT-R For Salehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=QmGawXG8mYo

Before winter retreats from the Northern Hemisphere, the Chicago Auto Show is happening next week. They are powered by the latest VQ series 3.7 liter V6. It makes 332 horsepower and 276 lb-ft of torque.Alpha Logic Nissan GT-R Sets New World RecordTo make sure that power was reaching the powder, Nissan turned to American Track Truck. Their 15" wide rear tracks are coupled to giant skis on the front hubs. To fit the DOMINATOR tracks, a 3" lift was needed at all corners. The rear wheel wells were "modified" to allow the independent axles to retain their travel, because of comfortability.... The press release didn't say how long it took to build, but it had some wild photos of icy escapades in northern latitudes. Not just for show, VP of Product Planning Michael Bunce said: "The Nissan 370Zki continues our recent tradition of bringing imaginative winter vehicle concepts to the Chicago Auto Show. With the Nissan Z's long heritage of motorsports competition, the 370Zki seemed like a natural combination. Prior to its debut here in Chicago, we put the 370Zki through its paces on the slopes in Wyoming where its performance heritage really came through."Sell Your Exotic Car with duPont REGISTRYHere in Florida, where the occasional 4WD Camaro is not uncommon, we applaud Nissan's support of their most popular sports car in any environment. "Nissan's full range of winter adventure-ready vehicles will be on display throughout the Chicago Auto Show, from our best-selling Rogue AWD to the powerful TITAN 4x4 and TITAN XD 4x4 lineups," said Bunce. It's also fun to shake things up with something totally unexpected once in a while – and that's the Nissan 370Zki." Nissan Unveils Official Restoration Parts For Skyline R32

Candy and flavored popcorn only go so far. We know what you really want for Christmas, and so does Nissan. That's why their NISMO performance division has launched a new run of restoration parts for the R32 Skyline. Originally built from 1989 to 1995, the R32 was burned into our memories by video games and several famous movies. In a recent press release, we've learned the details of a plan to revitalize these classics.Check Out: McLaren 720S vs 720 HP Nissan GT-RThey were never legally imported to the US thanks to our inept highway safety laws. In fact, our tax dollars are spent by the Department of Homeland Security, who like to confiscate and destroy these rare cars. At time of press, the only way we can enjoy a vintage Skyline is once it reaches 25 years old. But any car that old is bound to need a few touch-ups, so NISMO took a poll of the most-needed parts. Starting on December 1st, Japanese dealers will be able to order 80 parts, including new AC lines, wiring harnesses, body parts, and badges. Of course, these will sell like hotcakes on the world stage, so stay with us for complete coverage of this program. Click the link below to find your next Nissan!Search Nissan Skyline For Sale
