McLaren 720S Specs, Price, Photos & Review

Well, it's finally happened after multiple leaks: the McLaren 720S specs have been revealed. The McLaren 720S comes in as the second-generation Super Series supercar that outperforms the 650S and 650S Spider in just about every facet. First off, I'll get right to the engine. It's powered by a new twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 710 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque. With this much power, along with a dry weight of just 2,828 lbs, the 720S has a power-to-weight ratio of 0.251 horsepower per 1 lbs. With this power and lightweight, the 720S will rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and 0-124 mph in 7.8 seconds. Top speed is also set at 212 mph. “Super Series is the core of the McLaren business and personifies the blend of extreme performance, crafted luxury and unparalleled driver involvement that is the McLaren heartland. This is the first time we have replaced a product family and the new 720S is absolutely true to McLaren’s pioneering spirit in being a revolutionary leap forwards, both for our brand and the supercar segment.” - Mike Flewitt, Chief Executive Officer, McLaren Automotive Helping with the light properties of the new 720S supercar is the McLaren Monocage II. This carbon fiber "tub" and upper structure provide superior rigidity without sacrificing in the weight department. Additionally, McLaren also uses aluminum alloys in the chassis and some body panels for weight reduction purposes as well. " width="680"> One of my personal favorite aspects of the car has to be the Folding Driver Display, which can transform in order to provide the driver with two different instrument displays. The standard display shows what you'd expect, giving a full readout of instruments, while the "streamlined version" only provides the necessities in a slim strip. " width="680"> The new McLaren 720S will be available in three different specs: Standard, Performance, and Luxury. The start price is set at £208,600 (~ $254,000 USD) and deliveries started in May 2017. From France comes the new Bugatti Chiron Sport, a faster and lighter version of their already famous hypercar.Bugatti has taken the Chiron, tweaked it and made it more capable on the track. Ferrari 488 Pista Specs, Photos, Price & Review

Remember how we all thought it was the Ferrari 488 GTO? Think again. Introducing the new Ferrari 488 Pista, a new and more aggressive take on the Italian automaker's already fantastic model.Images of the vehicle were posted onto FerrariChat.com by user -CD-. In these pics we see a way more aggressive version of the 488. Its front splitter is more prominent than the GTB version and there's the addition of a massive air vent. All signs point to a more track-oriented car, right? Considering "Pista" in Italian translates to "Track," it makes sense. The images are one thing, but what about the specs? Thankfully Autocar Japan posted them in an article, but they, unfortunately, deleted that article. Methinks they weren't supposed to divulge the info. Motor1.com happened to catch it in the middle of the night and posted the specs. For power, there's a twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8 engine that produces 711 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque. Compared to the 488 GTB, that's an increase of 50 hp and 7 lb-ft. Combines this increase of power with a reduced weight of 2,821 lbs (a 199 lbs decrease) and you have a car that will outperform the 488 GTB on the track. In fact, they note that the 0-62 mph time is only 2.8 seconds and its top speed is set at 211 mph. That's one quick horse.2018 Ferrari 812 Superfast: Price, Specs, & Review On the track, however, it all means nothing if there's no downforce. Well, Ferrari's engineers managed to increase the 488 Pista's downforce by 20 percent.Price? It's reported that it will be at $300,000.Check back with us for the official release form Ferrari when it's released into the wild.View All Ferraris for Sale

Lamborghini Huracan Performante Revealed: Specs, Pics and...

On Friday the world was shocked by Lamborghini's video. It was cockpit footage from the latest Huracan in a record-setting lap of the'Ring. The time to beat is now 6:52.01 thanks to the new Lamborghini Huracan Performante. A press release this morning dives deep into technical advancements and revised components, so allow us to offer up the finer details.Instead of traditional carbon fiber, the Huracan Performante uses forged composites to shed weight. Still made of carbon, the material is thinner with the same strength. The result is a loss of 88 lbs of curb weight. Active aerodynamics are programmed to react in 500 ms in order to control downforce. It also creates less drag which increases acceleration and top speed. It only takes 2.9 seconds to reach 62 mph and you will be capable of over 202 mph. The 5.2 liter V10 now makes 640 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque. With a dry weight of 3,046 lbs, the Performante is the state of the art in lightweight motoring.View Lamborghini Huracan Price, Specs, Photos The exhaust is all new, with tuned runners exiting higher up than before. This allows 70% of maximum torque by 1,000 rpm, which is something Italian enthusiasts are not accustomed to. The chassis is 15% stronger, so the suspension was dialed in with more spring pressure and thicker sway bars. The interior offers new displays for the driver and race ready seats are optional. The base price for US buyers has been set at $274,390, which isn't bad for a record holding supercar. As soon as they begin arriving you will seem them first here on Autofluence.

Hennessey Venom GT: Price, Specs, Review and Photos

Hennessey Venom GT Specs Price: $1,300,000 Engine: 90 degree V8 Horsepower: 1387 hp 0–60: 2.4 seconds Top Speed: 278 mph Transmission: Ricardo 6-speed manual Torque: 1191 lb-ft Review In February 2014, Hennessey Performance took their Venom GT to the runway at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Before reaching the end of the runway, the supercar hit a speed of 270.49 mph. Unofficially, it was one of the fastest cars in the world. Officially, it was awarded the world record for fastest 0-300 km/h, or 186 mph, time at only 13.63 seconds. For 2016, it’s back, and it’s even more powerful than before. Through the magic workings of Hennessey Performance’s workshop, the Venom GT’s engine has been improved to the point of being able to reach a new top speed of 280 mph. Of course, to reach such a top speed, many other things also had to increase as well. Power has been cranked up to a behemoth 1,387 horsepower while torque is strong enough to pull down a building at 1,191 pound-feet. With these amounts, a sprint from 0 to 60 mph can be achieved in 2.4 seconds, and 0 to 200 mph in just 12.9 seconds. That’s right—the new Venom GT can reach 200 mph faster than the 2014 Venom GT reached 186 mph. Buy Your Issue Now
