Presented by Private Jet Card Comparisons. Subscribers to Private Jet Card Comparisons can compare carbon offset options, cryptocurrency acceptance, and empty leg discounts by private aviation sellers. Private Jet Card Comparisons, the only independent buyers’ guide to private aviation solutions, adds comparison data comparing carbon (CO2) offset options, cryptocurrency acceptance, and empty leg discounts to its database of over 50 jet card and membership providers and more than 250 programs. The database includes over 40,000 data points covering 65+ variables that impact buyer selection. The announcement was made at the start of the National Business Aviation Association's 2021 Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition here. For cryptocurrencies, the comparisons cover whether they are accepted, what types, and which platforms are used. Additionally, Private Jet Card Comparisons added comparisons of empty leg policies, including whether each program offers the discounted flights and special discounts for program members. “Private Jet Card Comparisons is the only private aviation solutions buyer’s guide that doesn’t sell its database or accept referral fees from private jet companies. Instead, we provide quantitative data, independent analysis, and personalized assistance to help subscribers identify the providers that best fit their needs. Electric Rolls-Royce Airplane Breaks World Record

Electric air travel is getting better and better each day. It surprising to some to learn that there are multiple Rolls-Royce companies, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, and Rolls-Royce Holdings. The latter of the two has been around for 116 years and is an aerospace company that is best known for its incredible engines. Now, Rolls-Royce Holdings is adding a new type of engine to their repertoire, but this time it's electric. Actually, they've had this engine working for a bit now in their Spirit of Innovation airplane. But now, this specific airplane has broken the record to become the World's Fastest All-Electric Aircraft. The plane managed to hit a top speed of 345.4 mph over three kilometers, easily breaking the previous record of 132 mph. It should be noted that the plane did hit a maximum top speed of 387.4 mph, which Rolls-Royce Holdings thinks would make Spirit of Innovation the World's Fastest All-Electric Vehicle. You can check the action out for yourself in the video up above. View Rolls-Royces For Sale Source: Rolls-Royce Holdings

HondaJet 2600 Concept Revealed, Capable of Nonstop Transc...

A groundbreaking new way to travel across the United States. The new HondaJet 2600 Concept has just been unveiled and it is set to be the very first light jet that can accomplish nonstop transcontinental flight across the United States. This feat is possible through a laundry list of breakthroughs, like the Over-The-Wing Engine Mount configuration (OTWEM), Natural Laminar Flow tech on the wing and fuselage nose, and the carbon composite fuselage. It will have a stunning range of 2,652 nautical miles, a high-speed cruise of 450 knots, and a ceiling of 47,000 feet. What's more, it's the first transcontinental jet that was designed for single-pilot operation. As for the passengers, they will most definitely fly comfortably and quietly. The inclusion of the OTWEM configuration will greatly reduce cabin vibration, allowing for a much more comfortable flight when compared to other light jets. Passengers will also be able to take advantage of the class-leading cabin height. When it comes to the layout, the HondaJet 2600 will be offered with three different types of cabin configurations that are customizable. There's no word on production yet, as this concept was unveiled to garner customer feedback and to validate market demand. Source: HondaJet.com

HERREOS Aviation: Think Partner, Not Broker

Presented by HERREOS Aviation FINDING THE RIGHT PARTNER If you’re looking for an aircraft broker who works with you rather than for you, then HERREOS Aviation is an ideal place to start. The family-run business, based close to Frankfurt International Airport, specializes in turbine helicopters and jet/turboprop airplanes. With over 30 years of experience as a pilot as well as heading various aviation companies, Eberhard Herr, managing partner of HERREOS Aviation, is a firm believer in getting personal. “We always like to get to know our clients and analyze exactly what they need to ensure they get just what they’re looking for. They appreciate that because we aren’t affiliated with any one manufacturer, the advice that we give is impartial,” he points out. “And by keeping our clients continuously up to date and guaranteeing transparency every step of the way, we establish a high level of trust.” A FAMILY BUSINESS Supporting Eberhard are his wife Sigrid, who handles legal matters, and his sons Niclas and Cedric – the former a commercial helicopter pilot; the latter a commercial airline pilot. “With HERREOS Aviation, clients know they’re getting not only first-class knowhow but also traditional family business values. ONEflight International Incorporated Named One of the Fas...

Presented by ONEflight The private jet provider experiences high growth as travelers turn to non-commercial travel amidst COVID-19. ONEflight International, Inc. has been recognized by Inc. 5000 as one of 2021’s Fastest Growing Companies in the United States for the second consecutive year. The private aviation firm rose to 3,205 on a list that signifies the top expanding privately owned companies in the nation. ONEflight first earned a spot on the list in 2020 with a combined three-year revenue growth of 97 percent. Despite the pandemic devastating many in the private aviation industry in 2020, ONEflight experienced positive growth without government subsidies or loans, doubling revenues and reporting a 115 percent increase in its customer base. Only two other companies in the charter sector made this year’s list. Nationwide lockdowns and travel restrictions forced other aviation companies to retract, lay off employees or trim extra spending costs over the last 18 months. ONEflight did the opposite, adding staff in Sales, Marketing, Technical Support and Operations while also forging strategic partnerships across multiple luxury sectors, including travel, villa rentals, motorsports, renowned wineries, yacht charters and PGA sponsorships. “2020 was a demanding year filled with peaks, valleys and new challenges. However, through all the turbulence, my team and I prevailed. We set new company records not only in member acquisition, but in the overall number of flights booked month over month,” said Ferren Rajput, founder and CEO of ONEflight International. A testament to the company’s expansion and brand reputation, ONEflight secured ABC’s Shark Tank host and ONEflight member Robert Herjavec as a brand ambassador and launched a multi-million-dollar advertising campaign. Three-time Superbowl champion and Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway followed suit as a ONEflight spokesperson earlier this month. How the economic and social climate fueled the private travel industry Prior to the pandemic, most bookings with ONEflight were for corporate or business travel. As shutdowns loomed in early 2020, flyers abroad rushed to return to the U.S. and turned to private aviation for faster, more reliable service. Then, as society shifted to remote work and learning, the industry helped families fly to secluded destinations as COVID-19 transmission rates climbed. Fewer touch points and passengers made private travel the safe alternative to crowded airport terminals and packed commercial flights. New customers who had never flown private previously drove most of the business growth for ONEflight in the past year. The safety, convenience and flexibility of private jets became less of an extravagance and more of a necessity. Now, leisure travel eclipses corporate and business travel for ONEflight, accounting for 85 percent of booked flights. Skyrocketing demand for private travel has come with some growing pains. Pilots, crews and operational personnel face labor shortages coinciding with a global aircraft shortage, potential rises in fuel costs as well as resource scarcity. In response to these challenges, many expanding private jet companies remain cautious of hiring for fear this increase is temporary and many other companies in the industry have halted selling new memberships entirely. While others pull back, ONEflight compensates for the growth by onboarding new flight operations staff, flight trackers, flight coordinators and personal concierge to ensure that their industry-leading customer satisfaction remains high. The risk was worth the reward: over 90 percent of those who switched to ONEflight during the pandemic continue to do so despite the emergence of COVID-19 vaccines. How ONEflight is transforming private jet travel ONEflight propelled private aviation into the digital age by developing and designing technologies that revolutionized the way the public flies. The ultra-luxury provider unveiled Book a Jet in 2018, an online booking platform created to search for flight itineraries then select from over 5,000 aircraft ranging from turbo props to large capacity jets. ONEflight members may choose the aircraft and flight with a few clicks on their computer or phone, a process that was previously done by calling an agent. ONEflight maintains a vetted network of 500 of the top aircraft operators worldwide to ensure unprecedented availability and flexibility. A new BAJ app could publicly launch in Q4 of this year, further digitizing private air travel with groundbreaking technologies that can be used broadly across all sectors of private aviation. “We remain focused on the future and are thrilled to share even more exciting news later this year,” said Rajput. New Bombardier Challenger 3500 Private Jet is a New Indus...

Bombardier is calling their the "Industry's Best Super mid-size Business Jet." The Super mid-size business jet range just got a lot better thanks to the new Bombardier Challenger 3500. This new private jet is a clear improvement over its predecessor, providing improvements in many ways. First up is the redesigned interior that offers Bombardier's patented "Nuage" seat in the standard configuration. Passengers will also benefit from the 41% reduced cabin altitude of 4,850 ft at 41,000 ft. To control the many systems onboard, like lighting, temperature, and entertainment, the Challenger 3500 now has a voice-controlled cabin. Ever feel cold while trying to doze off during a flight? On the Challenger 3500, you can simply use your voice to change the temperature without having to get up. Now that's nice. Other technological enhancements include wireless chargers and a 24-inch 4K display. Bombardier is also pushing sustainability in many ways. In fact, the Challenger 3500 will be the first business jet in the super mid-size range to receive an Environmental Product Declaration( EPD). To achieve this, Bombardier has introduced aspects like the new sustainable cabin materials, an eco app that optimizes flight plans for reduced fuel burns, and more. Bombardier expects the Challenger 3500's entry-into-service to happen in the second half of 2022. Source: Bombardier
