Steinway & Sons, have been building some of the finest grand pianos for over 170 years. Each one is still handcrafted, and the brand is synonymous with excellence among concert pianists, composers, and collectors. These values of attention to detail, fastidious quality, and craftsmanship are something that also resonate with Bentley, which also has a rich heritage dating back over a century. Now, both brands have come together to celebrate that shared ethos in a unique collaboration.

At a private event in Hamburg, Bentley revealed a bespoke Flying Spur Speed finished in Arctic White with a Piano Black interior and is powered by a Ultra Performance Hybrid V8 engine. Alongside sat two limited-edition Steinway grand pianos, Ultra Black and Ultra White, built entirely by hand at Steinway’s Hamburg factory. Only 52 will be built, including 18 Model B Concert Grands and 8 Model D Concert Grands, with each reflecting that shared obsession with precision, individuality, and heritage that runs deep through both brands.
Craftspeople from both Bentley’s Crewe factory and Steinway’s Hamburg facility spent time studying each other’s processes, sharing methods for veneering, polishing, and layering wood, all in a bit to preserve old-world techniques while adopting new technologies to make creations that last generations. This collaboration also celebrates monochrome luxury, a minimal color palette favored by customers of both brands, serving as statements of restraint and timelessness and a reminder that less is more in the world of luxury.
Following the Hamburg reveal, the Flying Spur Speed and the two Steinway grand pianos will tour Europe for a series of private concerts. Together, they represent a rare union between sound, motion, power and performance.
