Enduring a shutdown for seven weeks can be insurmountable to small automakers. But in our latest Fast Financials recap for 2020 Q4, we see Bentley's best year yet. The British brand devoted to luxury and customer satisfaction is rolling into its 102nd year with high hopes. That's because they delivered 11,206 cars last year. Here is the breakdown by model:
- Continental GT Coupe: 24%
- Continental GT Convertible: 15%
- Bentayga: 37%
- Flying Spur: 24%
Even with the shutdown followed by a lockdown of the U.K., sales were 2% stronger than in 2019. Using the downtime to improve their headquarters, logistics and manufacturing were streamlined. The new Bentayga Hybrid is the cornerstone of their "Beyond 100" plan, which aims for a completely electric lineup by 2030.
