By Tyler Rampersaud –  August 13, 2026

Bentley Appoints New Head Of Exterior Design

With the all-electric Torcal on the cusp of being revealed, Bentley is at a turning point in its century-long history. As it prepares to enter a new era, and while it boasts an impressive presence at this year’s Monterey Car Week, Bentley Motors has announced the appointment of a new Head of Exterior Design and Design Operations, T.Jon Mayer. Succeeding Domen Rucigaj, who has moved on to a new position within Volkswagen Group, T.Jon Mayer continues to oversee Design Operations, but expands his responsibilities from a previous position as Head of UX Design to now become Head of Exterior Design at Bentley Motors. With Bentley at the beginning of a new chapter and rapidly executing its Beyond100+ plans, T.Jon’s leadership of the Exterior Design Team at Bentley Motors will help guide the next generation of its ultra-luxury vehicles, especially as the Torcal introduces Bentley’s approach to BEVs. Commenting on his new role at Bentley Motors, T.Jon Mayer said, “Bentley represents one of the most compelling luxury brands in the world, with an extraordinary heritage and an exciting future ahead. I’m honoured to lead the Exterior Design team at such a pivotal moment for the company and look forward to helping shape the next chapter of Bentley design.” Mayer’s experience in international automotive design stretches back more than 20 years, and he originally joined Bentley in 2024. Before then, he spent 13 years at Volvo Cars, holding senior positions like Head of Exterior Design and Head of Design at Volvo Cars USA. His contributions shaped the designs of models like the Volvo EX60, EX30, S60, V60, and V60 Cross Country, and introduced signatures of Volvo’s design like the Thor’s Hammer headlight. Mayer’s studies include graduating from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as studying at the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California. In the new role, Mayer reports to Bentley Motors’ Director of Design, Robin Page, leading a team of 45 in Bentley’s Exterior Design department, developing the current and future product lineup of the ultra-luxury manufacturer. About the new appointment, Robin Page commented, "Since joining Bentley, T. Jon has become an integral member of our Design leadership team. He has played a key role in strengthening the connection between creative design and delivery, while his leadership has been instrumental in ensuring the UX vision for Torcal was successfully realised from concept through to production. His combination of exterior design expertise, operational leadership and collaborative approach makes him the ideal person to lead our Exterior Design team as we continue to evolve Bentley's design language and shape the next generation of Bentley products." Bentley Motors Announces Profitable 2025 Financial Results

By Tyler Rampersaud –  March 17, 2026

Bentley Continues Profitability In 2025

While Bentley is celebrated for having over a century of cherished legacy and heritage, the manufacturer is currently looking towards the future with a lineup that is increasingly hybrid, an upcoming all-electric model, and highly sustainable business practices to match. However, at the same time, Bentley respects tradition with its ultimate expression of performance, the new Supersports, which features rear-wheel drive and a non-hybrid V8 engine, as well as with the Mulliner Continuation Series cars, which revive century-old masterpieces using original documents, materials, and methods to recreate them. The past few years have seen Bentley enjoy incredible success as a manufacturer, especially within its ultra-luxury arena, and with the financial results of the manufacturer for 2025, Bentley Motors is happy to report that its success is continuing. While the Pyms Lane home of Bentley is continuing to transform in preparation for the debut of Bentley’s first BEV model, the brand has completed a seventh consecutive year of profitability, with an operating profit of 216 million Euros. Meanwhile, Bentley’s revenues decreased by just one percent in the past year at 2.6 billion Euros, remaining strong thanks to a diverse offering of products, exciting new model launches, and the continued success of Bentley’s bespoke department, Mulliner, which has been leading the charge for Bentley as customers continue to opt for more individualized and luxuriously unique configurations. Demand for top-of-the-line variants like the Speed and Mulliner trims of the Continental GT, Bentayga, and Flying Spur are continuing to aid in Bentley’s seven-year winning streak. With another year of success under its belt, Bentley Motors is ready to continue performing in 2026 as its first BEV is on the horizon. Bentley Commits to 100% Sustainable Aviation Fuel for Global Airfreight

By Khris Bharath –  February 20, 2026

Bentley Commits to 100% Sustainable Aviation Fuel for Global Airfreight

Effective immediately, Bentley Motors will use 100 percent Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for all customer vehicle airfreight worldwide. The British marque celebrated its Centenary in 2019, and this decision addresses one of the most carbon-intensive elements of its distribution network and supports its Beyond100+ strategy and long-term Net Zero objective. Airfreight remains a limited but necessary part of Bentley’s global logistics system, typically used when timing or regulatory constraints make sea freight impractical. Aviation produces significantly higher emissions than maritime transport. By switching to International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) SAF, Bentley expects lifecycle CO2e reductions of up to 70 to 95 percent compared with conventional jet fuel, depending on feedstock and production method. The fuel integrates into existing aircraft and airport infrastructure without modification, allowing immediate implementation. "Our transition to using certified Sustainable Aviation Fuel across all customer car airfreight movements reflects how we are taking measurable, evidence-based steps to reduce emissions in the parts of our logistics network where flights remain necessary. This initiative forms part of Bentley’s broader programme to reduce operational and value chain emissions in line with our long-term Net Zero ambition" - Aimee Kelly, Head of Sustainability at Bentley Motors Bentley has already transported customer vehicles using SAF and reports substantial well-to-wheel CO2e reductions versus standard aviation fuel. Current coverage applies to all customer vehicle air movements, with further exploration underway to extend SAF use across additional logistics routes. The logistics policy aligns with broader structural changes announced in 2024. Beyond100+ commits Bentley to full battery electric vehicle production by 2035. Its first fully electric model, described as a high-end urban SUV, is due in 2026. Each year through 2035, Bentley plans to introduce a new hybrid or electric model engineered at its Crewe headquarters. The transition includes the phase-out of the W12 engine. The Bentley Continental GT and Bentley Flying Spur now use high-performance hybrid V8 powertrains. Bentley previewed its electric direction with the Bentley EXP15 concept, referencing the 1930 “Blue Train” Speed Six, seen at Pebble Beach last year. The Crewe location, which has been Bentley’s home since 1940, is also undergoing its largest self-funded investment with a new paintshop announced in April 2025, and a new Tech Center announced in September last year, transforming into a carbon-neutral “Dream Factory” with updated design, paint, and assembly facilities tailored to electric production. Bentley Teases First EV & Announces Hybrids Until 2035

Bentley adjusts its Beyond100 ambitions and its path to electrification. For years, Bentley has been one of the most eager and ambitious luxury car manufacturers when it comes to futurism and sustainability, with its Beyond100 plans that were unveiled around the brand’s 100th anniversary outlining its ambitions to transform its lineup and introduce radical approaches to sustainability not only in what powers its vehicles, but also in how it produces those vehicles, with a factory and manufacturing process dedicated to sustainability, as well. Since then, consumer demand for electric vehicles has changed, and Bentley’s latest announcement has seen its plans change course slightly. Bentley is still eager to introduce electric vehicles, with the first, a “luxury urban SUV,” set to be launched next year. Designed for everyday driving opulence, the vehicle, which isn’t named yet, is going to be less than five meters long, and charge from zero to a hundred miles of range in less than seven minutes. Meanwhile, hybrid Bentley models like the current Continental GT and Continental GT Speed, for example, are going to be available until at least 2035, marking a major change in Bentley’s electrification timeline, and new non-hybrid models are still part of the picture, too. The new Bentayga Speed is a non-hybrid model, and another non-hybrid model, likely the upcoming new Continental Supersports, is set to be revealed before the end of this year. With adjusted plans, Bentley is continuing to pursue both sustainability and ultra-luxury automotive excellence with Beyond100. View All Bentley For Sale Image Source: Bentley Motors

Bentley Marks 6 Consecutive Years Of Profitability In 2024

Bentley’s continued success fuels its exciting future. Especially in the ultra-luxury space, Bentley has demonstrated incredible financial success in recent years, breaking records and transforming its brand with increased personalization, high-tech innovation, and compelling performance. For the year of 2024, Bentley’s numbers are in, and the trend continues, with the manufacturer saying that its sixth consecutive year of profitability is funding its sizeable site capital investments in preparation for the launch of its first fully-electric vehicle and for Bentley to reach its goals of carbon neutrality in line with the Beyond100 plan. Bentley says that its first fully-electric vehicle is set to enter the market in 2027, which means that today, it’s laying the ground for the EV assembly line at the oldest building in its historic Pyms Lane site to build it, highlighting its commitment to manufacturing in the UK. Its operating profit in 2024 roughly equates to over $400 million, and that marks the sixth consecutive year of profitability for the ultra-luxury brand, an impressive feat considering its significant investments towards its future. Its profit number is the fourth-best in the company’s entire history of over a century, and the upfront investments made today affected its 14.1% return on sales. During the year, the W12 engine was officially retired, sending off an iconic powertrain that served as Bentley’s flagship engine offering for over 20 years. In its place comes the new Ultra Performance Hybrid Powertrain, which uses a hybrid-assisted twin-turbo V8 to deliver the most performance a roadgoing Bentley has seen yet. The new Bentley Continental GT/GTC Speed and the new Bentley Flying Spur Speed introduced it with a massive 771 horsepower. After the introduction of the Speed and Mulliner trim levels, 2025 promises lower-powered variants, as well. Also coming in 2025 are the capabilities of the newly opened paint shop, and a new Excellence Centre for Quality & Launch, offering even greater heights of personalization and luxury than ever before for Bentley’s most discerning customers. With yet another successful year in the books, Bentley’s future looks even brighter than its rich, celebrated past. View All Bentleys For Sale Image Source: Bentley Motors

Bentley Reports $283 Million Profits In H1 2024 Despite C...

Bentley Motors recently shared its financial results for the first half of 2024, showcasing an operating profit of $283 million. Although this is a drop from the $423 million reported in the same period of 2023, it reflects the strength and stability of the luxury British brand during tough market conditions. The overall revenue for the period was $1.51 billion, down from $1.82 billion last year. Despite these figures, Bentley's return on sales remained strong at 18.8% compared to 23.2% in the previous year. Jan-Henrik Lafrentz, Member of the Board for Finance and IT, highlighted the company's dedication to its strategic initiatives and investments, including the shift towards a fully electric product portfolio. The first half of 2024 proved challenging, but Bentley remains optimistic about its future. The recently launched Continental GT Speed is expected to boost the company's order numbers significantly later this year and into 2025 as it enters global markets. Bentley's half-year deliveries totaled 5,476 cars, with the Bentayga SUV, including the Bentayga EWB models, accounting for 41% of total sales. The Continental GT and GTC followed with 34%, and the Flying Spur made up the remaining 25%. Although global sales were 23% lower than in the same period in 2023, the Americas remained Bentley's strongest market, with China and Europe following. As Bentley navigates the complexities of the current market, its focus on innovation and strategic planning remains steadfast. Despite the decline in sales and revenue, Bentley's commitment to delivering luxury and performance continues to drive its success and future growth. Bentley Credits Bespoke Personalization For 2023 Financia...

Bentley continues to bask in success through personalization. When it comes to automotive luxury, there are few peers that occupy the same echelon as Bentley. However, one of the most important aspects of Bentley’s splendor is its incredible bespoke capabilities, courtesy of Mulliner, whose roots trace back to one of the world’s oldest coachbuilders. Ranging from special details, to exclusive limited edition creations, to coachbuilt masterpieces that celebrate Bentley’s automotive excellence, Mulliner uses bespoke craftsmanship to elevate the luxury experience Bentley delivers to its owners. With 2023 boasting Bentley’s second-best financial performance on record, it’s that level of personalization that the manufacturer is crediting as the driving force behind its astounding success. Three quarters of Bentley’s customers last year chose bespoke options from Mulliner, on top of being spoilt for choice with Bentley’s 46 billion different possible configurations. Operating profit for the year stood at over $639 million, with revenue standing at roughly $3.19 billion as customers opted in large numbers for Azure, S, and Speed models, making up 70 percent of orders, compared to 30 percent in 2022. 13,560 Bentleys were delivered in 2023, marking the historic British luxury brand’s third-highest figure in history. Unsurprisingly, the Bentayga has remained the most popular model, with it accounting for 44 percent of Bentley’s total 2023 sales volume. It was followed by the Continental GT/GTC at 31 percent, and then by the Flying Spur at 25 percent. With the wind in its sails financially as Bentley continues to take on 2024, the manufacturer’s financial success helps fuel the implementation of its Beyond100 strategy, transforming the century-old Bentley into a sustainable manufacturer of luxury vehicles from start to finish, which is destined to venture far into the future. Today, Bentley features a comprehensive lineup that sets standards when it comes to automotive luxury, with the Continental GT and GTC showing off comfort, performance, and driving pleasure, the Flying Spur being an elegant and spirited luxury sedan, and the Bentayga and Bentayga EWB offering style, the everyday usability of an SUV, and some of the most opulent, daring, and innovative luxury Bentley has to offer. This year, Echo Research, a renowned international market research firm, continued to run the UK’s longest-running study of corporate reputation, the Most Admired Companies Study, which dates back 30 years, and studies 250 British brands in 25 sectors. Industry executives rate brands based on 13 different criteria, and Bentley is proud to announce that for the second year in a row, it’s earned the title of being Britain’s Most Admired Automotive Manufacturer. One of the most notable reasons why Bentley has earned this distinction in the survey include the ambition and commitment to its radical Beyond100 strategy, whose implementation is already in full swing and whose goal is to transform Bentley’s approach to sustainability across the brand, from the cars themselves to the methods and materials with which they are produced. Out of the 13 criteria by which Bentley was judged, it ranked number one in 8 of them. These were: Quality of Products and Services, Quality of Management, Financial Soundness, Capacity to Innovate, Long-term Potential, Inspirational Leadership, Ability to Attract and Retain Talent, and Competitiveness. Bentley Earns Net Zero Plastic To Nature Award For A Seco...

The historic British luxury brand's Beyond100 commitments to sustainability are celebrated yet again. Bentley Motors, renowned for its luxurious and high-performance vehicles, has once again demonstrated its commitment to environmental stewardship by earning the 'Net Zero Plastic to Nature' accreditation for a second consecutive year. This prestigious international accolade, awarded by the climate-focused company South Pole, highlights Bentley's progressive approach to waste management and sustainability practices. In 2022, Bentley Motors became the first automotive manufacturer to receive this ground-breaking certification. This achievement was a direct result of Bentley's comprehensive waste stewardship appraisal, conducted by South Pole, focusing on the management and reduction of plastic waste across Bentley's operations. The appraisal covered aspects ranging from macro-plastic parts packaging used in logistics and manufacturing to micro-plastic emissions from tyre abrasion, illustrating Bentley's "no stone unturned" approach to environmental responsibility. The latest endorsement from South Pole is a testament to Bentley's continuous efforts to align its operations with its ambitious environmental goals, particularly under its Beyond100 strategy. This strategy underscores Bentley's vision to become the world's most sustainable luxury automotive brand, a commitment that goes beyond mere compliance to actively shaping a more sustainable future for the automotive industry. A key factor in securing the Net Zero Plastic to Nature status in 2022 was Bentley's enhanced waste management and traceability protocols for its plastic waste. Impressively, 97% of Bentley's plastic waste was processed last year, significantly reducing the volume of non-processed plastic waste. This achievement aligns with Bentley's commitment to zero waste-to-landfill and minimal export of waste. Additionally, Bentley's investment in the 'Second Life Thailand' project, which focuses on recovering, recycling, and reusing ocean-bound and land plastic waste, further demonstrates its proactive approach to mitigating environmental impact. Andreas Lehe, Board Member for Manufacturing at Bentley Motors, emphasized the brand's aspiration to lead in sustainable luxury automotive production. He outlined Bentley's initiatives, such as collaborating with waste management suppliers and optimizing plastic usage at its production headquarters in Crewe. Bentley's strategy extends beyond manufacturing, addressing plastic usage in vehicle delivery to dealerships and customers, highlighting its holistic approach to waste management. Sebastian Benndorf, Director of Production Planning at Bentley Motors, acknowledged South Pole's significant role in providing insights into Bentley's global plastics footprint. This collaboration has enabled Bentley to deepen its understanding of its environmental impact and strengthen its commitment to the Beyond100 strategy. The achievement of the Net Zero Plastic to Nature status is not just a win for Bentley but also a beacon for the automotive industry. It showcases how luxury and sustainability can coexist, setting new benchmarks for environmental responsibility. Bentley's journey towards sustainability aligns with the Paris Agreement and UN Sustainable Development Goals, making it a role model for other companies striving to reduce their environmental footprint. This recognition solidifies Bentley's position as a leader in sustainable luxury automotive production, propelling the industry towards a more eco-conscious future. View All Bentleys For Sale
