Engineer Giotto Bizzarrini was born 100 years ago in 1926, and his brand would go on to become one of the most iconic Italian motorsport manufacturers. Today, Bizzarrini is known for its 5300 GT Corsa Revival, a recreation of one of its original masterpieces, alongside a new supercar, the Giotto. To celebrate the 100th birthday of the namesake of the brand, Bizzarrini has introduced a new special edition of the 5300 GT Corsa Revival, the Centenario Edition.
The beauty of the original car’s Giorgetto Giugiaro design remains timeless, but the Centenario Edition gets special touches to celebrate the 100-year legacy of Bizzarrini’s founder. Deep gloss black paintwork gives the revived classic an elegant look, with engineering that remains true to the original 5300 GT Corsa’s legacy. A lightweight composite body sits over a steel frame, with independent rear suspension, disc brakes, a brawny V8 with over 400 horsepower, and compliance with FIA’s Appendix K regulations.
Part of the already limited Revival Series of the Bizzarrini 5300 GT Corsa, the Centenario Edition will be on display at the Fuori Concorso event, set against the gorgeous backdrop of Lake Como, Italy. The final car of the Bizzarrini 5300 GT Corsa Revival series, the Centenario Edition comes ahead of the launch of the first all-new Bizzarrini production model since the 1960s.

The manufacturer has also announced that it will inaugurate a registry program, allowing owners to register their cars directly with Bizzarrini. Registration, authentication, and restoration are the pillars of service that will be offered by the program, which will be aimed at celebrating and preserving the legacy of the iconic manufacturer. Serendipitously, the new Bizzarrini 5300 GT Corsa Revival Centenario Edition celebrates the 100th birthday of Bizzarrini’s founder, and the end of the Revival Series at the same time.
