A reimagined approach to design, as well as a compelling suite of cutting-edge technology, are two of the most important principles of a new cohort of BMW models, which the legendary German manufacturer calls its “Neue Klasse.” The first model to be revealed as a Neue Klasse vehicle was the new BMW iX3, which introduced the new look and the bold innovations that are characteristic of the Neue Klasse lineup.
A new electric luxury SUV from BMW, the iX3’s high-tech engineering aims to contribute to the practicality, luxury, and convenience that the X3 nameplate has become known for, and BMW has now announced two important aspects of the new iX3 50 xDrive model: its pricing and its driving range.
The starting MSRP of the new electric luxury SUV from BMW is $61,500 plus $1,350 destination and handling, and it’s entering the United States market in September of this year. On a full charge, the new 2027 BMW iX3 50 xDrive is capable of traveling up to 434 miles, an impressive number for any EV.

As standard for the new iX3, customers will get to enjoy many of the innovations the Neue Klasse has to offer, like the power of the Heart of Joy “superbrain” computer, Panoramic iDrive with BMW Operating System X, and 800V electric architecture that enables fast charging and impressive efficiency.
Other standard features include Veganza upholstery, Ambient lighting, a Free-cut central display, and more. Options include the Comfort package, the Driving Assistance Professional Package, the M Sport Package and M Sport Professional package, the Parking Assistant Package, and the Technology Package.
Standalone options include Merino Leather upholstery, special paint colors, three-zone climate control, and more. A new approach to BMW excellence is coming to life, and as the market debut of the 2027 BMW iX3 50 xDrive approaches, its Build Your Own configurator is now live on BMW’s website.
