First Production 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ EV Raises $550...

The first Cadillac Escalade IQ EV crosses the block! Upon each new vehicle released to the automotive world, whether it's a multi-million dollar hypercar or ultra-luxury SUV, the first rolling production chassis often carries a hefty auction premium well past the intended MSRP. And while it may sound like a bad deal for the buyer, the money from these high-dollar examples is donated to charitable funds and organizations to help bring awareness to a cause. The first retail production 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ, VIN 001, recently made waves at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction by raising $550,000 for the Detroit Children’s Fund (DCF). As a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing public education in Detroit, DCF will use the full amount to support school leaders and provide much-needed resources for local students. Thanks to Barrett-Jackson waiving auction fees and commissions, every dollar will go directly toward helping Detroit’s children access the quality education they deserve. General Motors President Mark Reuss praised the partnership, highlighting how the success of the Escalade IQ sale aligns with DCF’s vital mission. With the Escalade IQ offering an estimated 460 miles of range and advanced features like Super Cruise hands-free driving and a 55-inch display, the SUV sets a new standard for luxury EVs. The funds raised will be a game-changer for many Detroit students, guaranteeing schools receive the support they need to help children thrive. DCF CEO Nick Karmanos expressed deep gratitude to GM, Cadillac, and the winning bidder, highlighting how this contribution will make a lasting impact on thousands of students across the city. Cadillac Reveals The New Opulent Velocity Electric Hyperc...

Cadillac envisions its electric performance future. Cadillac’s V-Series is unique within the automotive industry, positioned as an American alternative to the likes of AMG, BMW’s M division, and other European luxury performance outfits. With cars like the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing and the Escalade-V, the V-Series has valiantly championed the hallmarks of traditional American performance, like supercharged V8 engines and manual transmissions, while combining those aspects with sophisticated luxury design. However, Cadillac’s V-Series has an electric future. The historic luxury brand promised to introduce a new concept vehicle that would preview what its electric V-Series performance-oriented offerings might look like, and that concept is here: the new Cadillac Opulent Velocity Concept. It’s a stunning electric hypercar concept whose low-slung proportions and wide stance are reminders of the iconic Cadillac Cien concept of the early 2000s. The new concept lives up to the opulence in its name with Level 4 autonomous driving capabilities, which allow for a hands-free driving experience that provides the ultimate luxury: convenience. However, the other side of its character is velocity, which is presented through the activation of Velocity Mode, which presents the driver with a steering wheel and pedals for high-speed driving, with the HUD screen capable of displaying an augmented reality “ghost car” like a racing video game for competitive track driving. Styled as a 2+2 coupe, the new Cadillac Opulent Velocity Concept is finished with an interior color called “Selene.” The rich, dark blue color complements the minimalistic, clean, and aerodynamic exterior with its luxurious futurism and exquisite craftsmanship. With 3D printing technology and meticulous embroidery, the interior evokes serenity and high-performance potential at the same time. With a new hypercar coupe concept, Cadillac shows off the incredible potential electric future of its iconic V-Series performance lineup. View All Cadillacs For Sale Image Source: Cadillac

Cadillac Reveals New 2025 CT5-V Blackwing Precision Package

Cadillac brings even more dynamics to its high-performance machine. The 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing stands out in several ways. It’s part of a dwindling cohort of luxury high-performance sedans. With a supercharged V8 under the hood that sends power through a manual transmission, it’s a scarce and precious gem, especially in the American automotive realm. With the announcement of the new Precision Package available for the sports sedan, Cadillac is further dialing up its unique creation's performance factor. The new 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Precision package is a track-focused chassis package that improves the control and cornering speeds on the track while refusing to compromise the luxury that the sports sedan offers its driver. With increased spring rates, new front steering knuckles and rear suspension toe links, carbon ceramic brakes, and more, the CT5-V Blackwing is more ready than ever to take on a hot lap and still be an elegant, sumptuous four-door. The package also includes recalibration of the car’s MagneRide dampers, steering, chassis controls, and electronic limited-slip differential, which will further hone the high-performance sedan's performance for circuit domination. Production of the new 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is set to begin soon, with production of the car’s Precision Package set to start in early 2025. Pricing on the package, as well as more details, are set to come soon. View All Cadillac CT5-Vs For Sale Image Source: Cadillac

Cadillac SOLLEI concept

By Tyler Rampersaud –  July 22, 2024

Cadillac Unveils New Electric '50s-Inspired Sollei Concep...

A new Cadillac concept evokes past opulence. When many conjure images of the idiomatic “Cadillac,” cars like the Eldorado Biarritz of the late 1950s might come to mind, with their immense proportions, dramatic styling, and unabashed luxury, exemplifying the glory days of Cadillac’s past eras. Today, the brand has reached to regain that kind of presence in the automotive world, most prominently with the introduction of its all-electric Celestiq halo car, with limited production, bespoke commissioning, and an eye-watering $300,000 price tag. However, the introduction of a new concept shows that Cadillac may not be ready to stop there. The new concept is called the Sollei, and it’s a 2+2 convertible that, in fact, does echo the opulent luxury of past icons like the Eldorado Biarritz and, more recently, the celebrated Cadillac Ciel open-top concept car. The name “Sollei” combines “sol,” meaning “sun,” and “lei,” standing for leisure, and the name suggests that the car is meant for easygoing driving pleasure. The Sollei also boasts an all-electric powertrain, setting it apart from its predecessors with futuristic technology. In addition, the Sollei also uses a new bio-based leather alternative developed recently between Cadillac and MycoWorks. It combines innovative upholstery (on the console charging mats and door map pockets) with a 55-inch screen that spans the entire dashboard, choreographed lighting, and elegant design to envision yet another example of Cadillac’s glorious future luxury potential. Its color, Manila Cream, echoes the golden-age Cadillacs of the late 1950s. Still, its approach to luxury is modernized with features like a beverage chiller complete with glasses, multiple ambient lighting zones, and even accessories made for bird watchers: a set of 3D-printed bird calls, a leather-bound journal with bird illustrations, and a leather tool roll for pens and pencils. Even the smallest details of the new Cadillac Sollei concept are stunning, with a sunrise effect achieved through pink iridescent pigment on the leather, sunburst-themed lighting, color-shifting “Aurora” tint on metal surfaces, and a boucle fabric used for the floormats. As Cadillac continues to revolutionize its luxury portfolio, the Sollei is the next step in bringing Cadillac’s nostalgic glory days to the future. View All Cadillacs For Sale Image Source: Cadillac

Cadillac evolves its sustainable approach to luxury. As one of the most historic names in the luxury automotive world, Cadillac has an honored lineage of making some of the most iconic and desirable cars in the American automotive industry. In the future, Cadillac hopes to use the new Fine Mycelium material created in collaboration with MycoWorks like leather in vehicles, providing the same strength and luxury while adding sustainability, weight reduction, and efficiency. To demonstrate the new material's ability, Cadillac has created a card holder from Fine Mycelium to kick off its exploration of innovative new material. Exploring a new arena of sustainable luxury with MycoWorks, Cadillac joins a group of storied luxury brands that have joined forces to explore sustainable leather alternatives with the startup, like Hermès, who collaborated with MycoWorks to recreate its Victoria travel bag with a mycelium-based leather alternative to preview the future of sustainable luxury in the world of couture. Cadillac Teases New Opulent Velocity Concept Previewing V...

One of the American performance world’s titans is on the cusp of a major transformation. When it comes to American performance cars, Cadillac’s V-Series has been one of the most important pieces of modern American performance for the past 20 years, showcasing luxury sedans, coupes, wagons, and now SUVs that combine muscle-car power with refined elegance. In addition, the recently revealed CT5-V Blackwing preserves a timelessly enticing but endangered combination when it comes to American performance cars: a 6-speed manual transmission and V8 power. However, the entire automotive industry is changing, and the V-Series has its sights set on changing with it. Cadillac recently teased the Opulent Velocity concept car, which serves as a vision of the zero-emissions future of the V-Series line of performance Cadillacs. However, the concept also promises to be a celebration of the past and present of the V-Series, whether that be regarding the roadgoing V-Series cars or Cadillac’s V-Series racing efforts. With the V-Series first being introduced at Sebring in 2004 with the CTS-V.R race car, the following 20 years saw the letter V symbolizing Cadillac’s signature blend of luxurious opulence and brash performance, with cars like the XLR-V, CTS-V, CT5-V Blackwing, and now the Escalade-V cementing its legacy and icon status. With the new Opulent Velocity concept coming soon, Cadillac and V-Series fans are going to get an exciting look at what’s coming next. View All Cadillacs For Sale

Cadillac Reveals The New CT5-V & CT5-V Blackwing With Man...

Cadillac has revealed the new pinnacle American performance sedan. For years, Cadillac has made an incredibly important contribution to the American performance lexicon by creating high-performance luxury models that personify the stateside approach to elegant, luxurious muscle cars, and the Cadillac CT5-V and the CT5-V Blackwing are revamped and refreshed for the 2025 model year, with Cadillac also celebrating the 20th anniversary of its performance-oriented V-Series. Along with revised design, the addition of new colors, and exciting new features added to both the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing like a carbon fiber aero package, a new 33-inch diagonal infotainment display is home to a host of added tech in the high-performance machines. Many of the features are track-focused, with a Lap Analyzer tool, Speed Tips tool, readouts of relevant information before a track outing, and more. However, the main highlight to both the new 2025 Cadillac CT5-V and the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is the performance. The CT5-V gets its 360 horsepower from a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6, which then gets sent through a 10-speed automatic transmission. However, the Blackwing boasts a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, which produces a whopping 668 horsepower and 659 lb/ft of torque, and for purist enthusiasts, that power can be handled with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic. The CT5-V is also available with all-wheel drive, while both cars come with launch control systems, traction management, Magnetic Ride Control and Electronic Limited Slip, while the CT5-V Blackwing comes with racing-ready Brembo brakes. With all the trappings of both a true muscle car and a plush luxury sedan, as well as the increasingly rare manual transmission available, the new 2025 Cadillac CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing are American performance heroes.
