Hublot x Daniel Arsham Debut The MP-17 MECA-10 Arsham Spl...

Hublot's latest collaboration with New York-based artist Daniel Arsham feels less like your average watch release and more like a moment of creative experimentation. The new Hublot MP-17 Meca-10 Arsham Splash Titanium Sapphire takes the brand's spirited design DNA and filters it through Arsham's surreal, artistic perspective. Inspired by the energy and motion of water, the 42mm is an evolution of the duo's last project, the MP-16 Arsham Droplet, but this time it's more personal, more fluid, and somehow, more human. The watch's construction looks like an art piece in motion. The combination of titanium, sapphire, and rubber shows off Hublot's knack for mixing materials. At the same time, the splash-shaped dial cutout is all Arsham, a visual metaphor for how time ripples and fades. You can see the in-house Meca-10 movement through that opening, a mechanical heart beating underneath the surface with a ten-day power reserve. It's not trying to hide its inner workings, but instead, it celebrates the complexity. The frosted sapphire bezel catches the light like sunlight hitting water, and subtle touches of Arsham's signature green give the piece its identity. For all its artistic flair, the MP-17 still feels grounded in Hublot's lineup. You'll spot familiar cues like the six H-screws, the chunky lugs, and the industrial spirit, but the result is different. Limited to 99 pieces, it's the kind of watch that invites you to slow down and think about what it's really representing. Arsham has said his work explores the collapse of past and future, and the MP-17 Meca-10 Arsham Splash captures that perfectly. Source: Hublot

H. Moser & Cie. Debuts Its Limited-Edition Streamliner To...

Pierre will be sporting the exclusive H. Moser at the Singapore Grand Prix. Some collaborations in watchmaking feel like brief marketing moments, while others shape themselves as genuine partnerships rooted in shared values. The all-new Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly by H. Moser & Cie. belongs in that latter category. Officially launched today, just ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, the watch pays homage to Gasly’s character and his dedication to both in and out of the cockpit. From the very beginning, this wasn’t about lending a name to a dial but instead creating an authentic extension of Gasly’s personality in the form of a watch. That shows in every millimeter throughout the Streamliner Tourbillon and its balance between the high-speed action of Formula 1 and the timeless Swiss horology. Pierre Gasly’s involvement was anything but minimal, working closely with H. Moser & Cie.’s watchmakers to shape the watch’s design, insisting on the tourbillon as the centerpiece. The Streamliner case in 5N red gold houses the Chocolate fumé dial that Gasly himself named. The fumé finish, one of Moser’s signature touches, features a transparent lacquer logo that seems to disappear into the background. At the heart of the watch lies the HMC 805 calibre, a one-minute flying tourbillon equipped with a double hairspring developed by Precision Engineering AG. The constant rotation at six o’clock is a spectacle, offering both the beauty of mechanics and precise accuracy. Two variants of the Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly have been released: a sports edition limited to 100 pieces on a chocolate rubber strap and an ultra-exclusive run of just 10 pieces fitted with a red gold bracelet. As a nod to Gasly’s racing career, a ruby sits at 10 o’clock as a reference to his number on the grid. Whether seen under the lights of Singapore’s night race or admired in a collection, the Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly represents high-speed horology. Source: H. Moser & Cie.

John Mayer Spotted Wearing A Mysterious AP Royal Oak at Z...

John Mayer adds yet another ultra-exclusive Audemars Piguet to his collection. While his rise to stardom began on stage with a dream and guitar in hand, John Mayer's remarkable music career has since intertwined with his love for luxury watches as a Brand Ambassador for Audemars Piguet. From early appearances on Hodinkee's beloved 'Talking Watches' YouTube series to the debut of his very own limited-edition Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar model, Mayer's passion for horology extends well past waitlists and hype pieces and into the complexity behind watch designs and movement innovations. Being the true collector and unfluential figure that he is, John Mayer is often the first to be spotted in exclusive AP releases and even piece uniqué examples. That happened to be the case two nights ago at Michigan Stadium (aka The Big House), where John Mayer made an appearance at Zach Bryan's record-breaking concert wearing a never-before-seen Audemars Piguet. @johnmayer Instagram (Photos by @daniel) While the concert is making waves in news headlines for breaking the record for the largest ticketed concert in U.S. history, the watch world is buzzing after catching a glimpse at the mysterious Royal Oak posted on Mayer's Instagram. What looks to be the iconic silhouette of Audemars Piguet's most historic creation has been completely customized with intricate engravings and etchings throughout the case, dial, and bracelet. The absence of sub-dials reveals its simplicity as a time-only model. At the same time, up-close photos give us the notion that the one-off celebrates haute horology with a design depicting the parts and pieces of a watch movement. And while we cannot speculate on the actual model reference used or the main material of the watch, we can only hope that Audemars Piguet will soon inform us as to whether this is the next upcoming exclusive release or another piece uniqué Royal Oak we all dream of owning. Stay up-to-date with more upcoming news and release info on John Mayer's mysterious Audemars Piguet spotted at Zach Bryan's concert by tuning into duPont REGISTRY.
