Of all the historic motorsports events held globally, the 24 Hours of Le Mans remains one of the most legendary, welcoming drivers and race fans to Circuit de la Sarthe to experience what’s best described as an endurance spectacle. For Chevrolet and Corvette Racing, Le Mans has been a success over the years, and the American carmaker is heading back with one of its strongest entries in over a decade. This year, four Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R race cars will take on the world-famous race, looking to add another chapter to its storied Le Mans legacy.
Three entries will be supported by TF Sport, including a pair of full-time FIA World Endurance Championship competitors, while a fourth Corvette will be entered by 13 Autosport. Together, the lineup features a mix of experienced endurance racers and Corvette veterans who are no strangers to grueling events such as the Spa 24 Hours and Bathurst 12 Hour. The depth of talent across the four teams gives Corvette one of its best opportunities yet to challenge for a podium finish in the highly competitive LMGT3 category.
Corvette's track record at Le Mans speaks for itself, with nine class victories at the iconic endurance race, making it one of the most successful American manufacturers to compete at the event. While the current GT3-spec Corvette is still relatively new to Le Mans competition, it has already shown promising pace. After making its race debut in 2024, the Corvette Z06 GT3.R secured a class podium finish in 2025, proving it can go head-to-head against some of the world's top GT racing programs. With double championship points on the line this year, a strong result could also have a major impact on the FIA World Endurance Championship standings.
As anticipation builds for the 94th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, all eyes will be on whether Corvette can once again challenge at the front of the field. Between its racing heritage, proven endurance success, and extended four-car effort, Chevrolet enters the race with momentum and plenty of reasons for optimism. Stay tuned in this weekend to watch one of America's most recognizable brands compete on motorsports’biggest stage.
