Why did this muscle car fetch so much money at the auction? Well, there are many factors. First, only 11 convertible Hemi 'Cudas were created by Plymouth in 1971. Of those 11 convertibles, only seven of them were sold in the U.S., and only two of those seven had four-speed manual transmissions.

This $3.5 million 'Cuda was one of those two with a manual transmission. What's more, this is documented as the only "numbers matching" four-speed convertible 'Cuda in existence.
