Ferrari Roma Price, Specs, Photos & Review

This grand tourer's promise of "la nuova Dolce Vita" isn't small, but the Prancing Horse brand knows how to deliver. With beautiful looks and exemplary handling and ride, the Ferrari Roma is one of the most sensible and accessible models from the Italian powerhouse. But don’t let the affordability and small design of this 2+2-seater coupe fool you: something of an assassin lurks within it. This sleek and muscular GT produces a savage 612 horsepower while immersing you in a satisfying driving experience. While it's not as precise as the Porsche 911 or pampering as the Bentley Continental GT, the Ferrari Roma review shows the Roma is a thrill to drive and offers an irresistible blend of what those two cars deliver, with a touch of Italian flair. Join us on this adventure to find out if this small, ferocious beast could meet your needs. Ferrari Roma Price The Ferrari Roma for sale comes in a single trim, but the car manufacturer sells it with enough color and materials to personalize it with an impressive level of variety. The Roma comes equipped with all the standard features like automatic climate control, remote keyless entry, adjustable front seats, etc. The Ferrari Roma MSRP starts at $243,358 in the US. However, the value of the car can vary from state to state. Moreover, personalization options and add-ons can drive up the final bill significantly. It has a breathtaking design featuring sleek headlights with distinctive LED daylight running lights. Besides the long, wide hood, the side features 20-inch alloy wheels, and at the back, the quad-exit tailpipes, attractive taillight cluster, and active rear spoiler stand out. The Ferrari Roma coupe is no longer being manufactured, but plenty of. examples are available on the second-hand market, and those who want a new Ferrari Roma can look to the open-top Ferrari Roma Spider. Ferrari Roma Review Known as the everyday Ferrari, the Ferrari Roma review is the first of its kind in the family of grand tourers. It draws inspiration from the brand’s most iconic GT Ferraris of the 1960s, including GT Berlinetta and 250 GT Lusso. The Roma breaks the design rule ingrained into Ferrari’s DNA. Aside from the Lusso’s shark-nose grille, this Ferrari adopts the look and feel of the 50s and 60s Italian style, a rebirth of La Dolce Vita. Blend all these cues and influences, and you've got a Ferrari Like no other. The amazing coupe shape and the 2+2 seating, and the shark-nose grille, all come together to create one of the brand’s most contemporary models that embody understated luxury. The Ferrari Roma Horsepower is 612 hp from a 3.9-liter V8 engine is likely to appeal to individuals who won’t describe themselves as keen drivers and love to stay under the radar. However, the brand’s diehard fans, hell-bent on V12s and mid-engine sports cars, might not like this progressive-looking and proportioned car. While the grand tourer appears 7-inches shorter than the Bentley Continental GT at 183.3 inches in length, it’s wider, which gives it a more athletic look. Ferrari Roma Specs The specs sheet of the Ferrari Roma is quite the read. First, the Roma uses a lightweight eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Secondly, the Roma is the first grand tourer to introduce a five-position Manettino switch. This allows its Sport modes to stiffen everything up, making the car a much more engaging companion. However, the steering feels light and reacts quickly and directly, which might come as a shock until you make some adjustments. As for acceleration, the Ferrari Roma 0-60 is 3.1 seconds, great for racing enthusiasts and 11.0 seconds for ¼ mile. Thanks to the powerful V8, the Ferrari Roma's top speed is 199 mph, which is great whether you’re enjoying a nonchalant cruise or racing around winding corners. The engine makes quite a noise, which can tempt you to change down gears just to hear the glorious sound. The Roma weight is 3,461 lbs, with the mass well split for the front, mid-engine, and rear. This makes it lighter than the hardtop Portofino. Moreover, it got reworked with new components, like softer rear spring rates and lower roll rates. At 155 mph, this coupe produces 210 lbs + downforce than the Portofino. Because of these changes, the Ferrari Roma specs stand out as a much better vehicle to drive. Ferrari Roma Specs Price: $222,620 Engine: 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 Transmission: 8-speed dual-clutch automatic Horsepower: 612 hp Torque: 561 lb/ft 0-60 mph: 3.1 s 1/4 mile: 11.0 s Top Speed: 199 mph Ferrari Roma Engine Today, the twin-turbocharged V8 engines in most Ferraris are the standard for high-end sports cars. In fact, the powerful engine has won the International Engine of the Year award for 4 years consecutively. However, it has undergone some changes over the years. Under the bonnet, the Ferrari Roma is an updated 3.9 L F154 BH twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 612 horsepower and 561-pound feet of torque. This engine features new cam profiles and a revised catalytic converter and PPF (Petrol Particulate Filter). There’s also a speed sensor for measuring turbine revolutions. It makes it possible to increase the revs per minute by 500 rpm. The engine is more thermally efficient because it comes with a revamped exhaust that utilizes an oval-looking flap instead of the traditional silencer, and the intake and exhaust feature more aggressive valve lift profiles. Without a doubt, Roma's V8 engine is perhaps the world's cleverest designed turbo engine. It's just upon the driver to unleash its huge potential. Whether overtaking slow traffic on highways or speeding up from a standstill point, this special powertrain will dominate. What’s more, drivers will enjoy instant Throttle coupled with immediate gear changes. Although the acceleration might seem slower in automatic mode, it’s great for when sitting in traffic. And the best part? The Ferrari Roma’s V8 engine limited torque in the lower gears and can push you to increase the redline to achieve maximum torque and enjoy the experience of a naturally aspirated engine. Ferrari Roma Transmission The Ferrari Roma transmission is the 8-Speed Magna 8DCL900 dual-clutch derived from the gearbox that powers the exotic SF90 Stradale. Unlike the previous Ferrari’s seven-speed transmission unit, this one is improved in every measure possible. It’s not only smaller but over 15lbs lighter than the old 7-speed. The dual-clutch in this hardtop coupe’ with front mid-engine, rear-wheel drive layout boasts a longer gear ratio and faster shits (15% on upshifts, 21% on downshifts. In addition to being efficient, it’s integrated with the car’s engine software and includes smaller wet clutches. Since it sits lower in the Ferrari Roma, it reduces the car’s center of gravity, promoting better handling. Through the combination of innovative engineering, fuel-efficient technologies, and lightweight design, this new Magna gearbox provides a route to energy efficiency. Ferrari Roma Interior Well, this is where things get interesting. The Roma takes a unique approach to its interior by combining upscale material with a distinct layout. It split the Ferrari Roma interior into two unique compartments for the driver and accompanying front-seat passenger. It ditches Ferrari’s traditional analog rev counter for a 16-inch digital gauge cluster that responds to hepatic controls on the car’s steering wheel. In addition to the superb cabin, buyers get to choose from a wide range of interior colors and seat types. Since the coupe is a 2+2, it can technically accommodate four occupants as long as they’re short and the front seat gets adjusted. Tall adults might find it intolerable seating at the back because of the limited head and legroom. For the front passenger, everything is much better. There’s enough headroom and legroom, and the passenger gets cushioned by a sweeping dashboard that connects with the floating center console and the doors. Being a grand tourer, the Ferrari Roma delights its passengers with more infotainment and connectivity features, like a vertically mounted 8.4-inch touchscreen and a separate display for the front passenger. The best part is the buyers can upgrade the Roma seats and customize them further based on preferences. Ferrari Roma Standout Features The Ferrari Roma is an amazing machine that’s hard to find a bad angle to it. Besides its standard features, the car offers some tasty options, as so many Ferraris do. For instance, you can opt for Ferrari Roma Spider Optional MagneRide Shocks that work by having metal particles in the fluid. It makes it easier for the onboard computer to manage the shocks' stiffness. As such, the shocks can react quickly, and the tires can maintain contact with the road, no matter the weather. As for tire and wheel sizes, the Roma is available in several wheels and tire options. The Ferrari Roma has a front tire size of P245/35ZR20 and P285/35ZR20 for the rear tires. As for the wheels, the coupe comes in 20 X 8 inches or 20 x 10-wheel sizes. The smaller wheels will offer you a smoother ride without significant modification, but they might have weak performance because of their smaller size. Bigger wheels boost the car’s stability, improve handling and come with added braking capability. However, they wear out fast and increase fuel consumption. In terms of safety and driver assistance features, the Ferrari Roma rocks the manufacturer’s latest 6th generation sideslip angle control, vehicle dynamics control, and traction control. The bottom line is that the Roma is a bold and beautifully designed car that combines the latest in-car technology with cues from Ferrari’s storied history of exotic road cars and racers. Is the Ferrari Roma discontinued? Ferrari has discontinued the Ferrari Roma coupe, but the Ferrari Roma Spider is the new open-top version of the Roma, with a retractable fabric top and the same exciting driving characteristics and gorgeous grand tourer looks. Can you drive a Ferrari Roma everyday? With two small rear seats and a usable trunk thanks to its front-engined layout, the Ferrari Roma does offer a degree of everyday practicality. While it's not as usable everyday as an SUV or sedan, it can be a glamorous, good-looking, and thrilling coupe for daily driving, albeit with some limitations. Mansory Unveils New "Pugnator" Custom Ferrari Purosangue

Mansory transforms the Ferrari Purosangue. Ferrari entered a new era when it introduced the “FUV,” the brand’s first four-door four-seater, the Purosangue. With its V12 engine, luxurious accommodations, coach-style rear doors, and more practicality than a Ferrari has ever seen before, the Purosangue is not just a unique creation among Ferrari’s lineup, but it’s also a different approach to luxury super SUVs as a whole. Mansory, known for its radical customizations of the world’s most exclusive and desirable cars, has finally gotten its hands on the Purosangue and has debuted a new complete vehicle conversion based on the iconic Ferrari Purosangue, which it calls the Pugnator. With Mansory’s signature over-the-top style and Ferrari’s automotive excellence combined, the Mansory Pugnator is one of the most exclusive super SUVs with an undeniable head-turning factor. In keeping with Ferrari’s affinity for red, the Pugnator's special paint finish is “Vermillion.” It’s paired with loads of red-tinted carbon fiber bodywork, ranging from widened fenders to extra vents, a prominent rear wing, a carbon fiber hood, and revised front and rear fascias. In addition, Mansory gave the Pugnator a custom set of wheels, newly designed and measuring 22 and 23 inches. Mansory didn’t stop there, completely customizing the interior of the Ferrari Purosangue to create the Pugnator, as well. Shown in white, Mansory offers complete freedom in customization, using luxurious materials and techniques like exposed carbon fiber, fine leather, contrast stitching, quilting, and more. To complete the conversion from Purosangue to Pugnator, Mansory made the Ferrari truly its own by improving its performance. Enhancing the capabilities of its 6.5-liter V12 engine, Mansory gave the Pugnator a new 4-flow sports exhaust system with flap control, bringing the total power to 755 hp and 538 lb/ft, which improves on the standard Purosangue by 40 horsepower. If you’re looking for a super SUV that reaches the highest levels of exclusivity and eye-catching design in the automotive industry today, the Mansory Pugnator, a new complete conversion of the Ferrari Purosangue, might be the “FUV” for you. Ferrari Purosangue Price, Specs, Photos & Review

This is Ferrari like it always has been, and like you’ve never seen it before. There’s no denying the recent trend in the automotive world of brands that previously made luxury sports cars now foraying into luxury performance SUVs. While we can trace the origins of this trend back decades, the current wave of more recent players in the category proves that now is a better time than ever to get in the luxury performance SUV segment with what some of the best ones are capable of. For many, what results is the ultimate car, with incredible on-road performance, off-road capability, and everyday practicality, luxury, and usability that no sports car could even dream to match. Ferrari, one of the world’s most timeless and exclusive automotive brands in the world, has finally offered its answer to the highly competitive luxury performance SUV segment: the Purosangue. While Ferrari’s first SUV might seem like a radical change for the brand, Ferrari made sure to make it one of its own cars through and through, and made sure that the unforgettable and irreplaceable driving experience would be worth the wait and the Ferrari Purosangue price. It’s finally time to experience the same Ferrari brand, but this time, on an entirely new frontier. Ferrari Purosangue Price The price of the new Ferrari SUV is just under $400,000. It is, of course, quite an expensive and exclusive vehicle, as all Ferraris are. However, the demand for the new Purosangue in particular has caused examples on the second-hand market to carry a significant premium, sometimes reaching above $800,000 and even $900,000 in price. The amount of innovation, luxury, style, and craftsmanship involved in the new Ferrari Purosangue comes at quite the price. Ferrari Purosangue Review For many, there’s a fear that the Purosangue is a car that is different from Ferrari’s typical offerings. However, Ferrari has preserved its DNA in the Purosangue with its incredible performance. It features a weight distribution that is enviable by even the most dynamic sports cars at 49:51%. In addition, the car does something that even luxury performance SUVs and cars in general rarely do: include a V12 engine. The naturally-aspirated V12 engine in the new Purosangue makes it a true Ferrari, and a member of a dying breed even in the world of supercars and high-performance sports cars, let alone SUVs. Other innovations like the carbon fiber roof of the Purosangue make it a vehicle that takes the idea of blending the performance car and the SUV very seriously in a way that only Ferrari can. Ferrari Purosangue Specs The Ferrari Purosangue's horsepower is a massive 715, coming from its naturally aspirated V12 engine, and on top of that, it boasts 528 lb/ft of torque. With an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Ferrari Purosangue is able to rival some of the world’s best performance cars even as an SUV, including an incredible 0-60 time under 3.3 seconds. Ferrari Purosangue Specs Price: $400,000 Engine: 6.5-liter V12 Transmission: 8-speed dual-clutch automatic Horsepower: 715 hp Torque: 528 lb/ft 0-60 mph: 3.3 s 1/4 mile: 11.7 s Top Speed: 193 mph Ferrari Purosangue Engine The V12 in the Ferrari Purosangue is one of the most important aspects of the car. In a world that is becoming more environmentally conscious than ever, the V12 engine is quickly disappearing from the automotive world, and it affects brands like Ferrari the most. Because of that, many thought that the Ferrari Purosangue would be powered by a smaller engine like a V8 or even a V6 like the Purosangue’s 296 GTB Prancing Horse stablemate. However, Ferrari stayed true to its most important roots in including the V12, and its high power output is true to Ferrari’s ethos, as well. Ferrari Purosangue Transmission The 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission in the Ferrari Purosangue is able to shift much faster than its 7-speed predecessor, and it is an integral part of what makes the Ferrari Purosangue such an incredible performer. The transmission is optimized not only to deliver incredible performance but also smooth driving, and the perfect sound experience of the increasingly unique V12 engine. Ferrari Purosangue Interior The interior of the Ferrari Purosangue is unique because the launch of the Purosangue marks Ferrari’s very first four-door car. While Ferrari has had 2+2 models with rear seats for decades, the reveal of the Ferrari Prusoangue is that of the first Ferrari with four doors. Also, the SUV driving experience meant that Ferrari had to add different features and capabilities to the interior of the car. Optionally, owners can choose to have their Purosangue equipped with an electrochromic glass roof rather than the standard carbon fiber, and the Purosangue is also the first Ferrari to be compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Purosangue offers a luxury driving experience that combines SUV luxury with Ferrari performance. Ferrari Purosangue Standout Features Of course, having a Ferrari with four doors makes it a standout feature among its Cavallino Rampante counterparts, but even among other SUVs, the doors themselves are a standout feature, because they are coach-style doors. The unique backward opening direction of the rear doors makes for a presence that is unmistakable and visually interesting as if the Ferrari Purosangue didn't stand out from the crowd enough. Also, the new Purosangue features lots of innovation and technology derived from its fellow high-performance Ferraris, like wheels inspired by the SF90 Stradale and dynamics systems originally used on the Ferrari 296 GTB. The four-wheel drive system uses technology from the GTC4Lusso and SF90 Stradale, and the Purosangue's four-wheel steering system is derived from the 812 Competizione. Four individually-adjustable seats, large displays for both driver and front passenger, and a sound system from Burmester dial up the Purosangue's luxury factor, and the front seats even boast a massage function, making for one of if not the most luxurious offering from Ferrari yet. Is the Ferrari Purosangue an SUV? According to Ferrari, it technically isn't. Despite its body style mirroring many of the luxury performance SUVs on the market, Ferrari has yet to call the Purosangue an "SUV," instead referring to it as the brand's first "four-door four-seater." Despite this, the "FUV" is still radically different from anything Ferrari has done before, and although it's meant for the road like other Prancing Horse cars, its rear seats and cargo capacity make it a Ferrari that's more enjoyable and practical for everyone inside. Is the Ferrari Purosangue electric? The Ferrari Purosangue is not electric, or even hybrid, which may surprise some considering the trend that many automotive manufacturers are following with their latest performance-oriented offerings. In fact, the Ferrari Purosangue is powered by a V12 engine, which is naturally aspirated, making it a unique luxury performance vehicle that is part of a dying breed. Is the Ferrari Purosangue rare? The Ferrari Purosangue isn't a limited edition model, but the manufacturer has promised that production would be restricted for the Purosangue, so it will certainly be much rarer than its luxury performance SUV peers. Check Out Steven Victor's Incredible Collection Of Exclus...

From the ultra-rare Daytona SP3 to the legendary LaFerrari, Steven's love for V12s shows. When it comes to Steven Victor’s passion for Ferrari V12s, it’s better described as a full-blown obsession. In an interview with Ferrari Magazine, the 42-year-old music executive revealed that his love for the iconic V12 engine is at the heart of his insane supercar and hypercar collection. Victor’s garage currently houses six V12 Ferraris, and his home design reflects that fuel-driven passion. He’s constructing a new house, designed so that every room overlooks one of his beloved Ferraris. His connection to Ferrari runs so deep that he even named his son after the V12 engine, calling him "V" at home. Steven credits his friend Pharrell Williams for not only inspiring the name "V," but also for igniting his passion with the V12 engine. After seeing Pharrell’s black Enzo at a video shoot, Victor was instantly hooked. Since then, his collection has grown, and Ferrari has become a family affair in the Victor household. His wife, Christine, also shares his enthusiasm, especially for the Ferrari Cavalcade events, while their middle child, Victor, is already following in his father’s footsteps, identifying models like the LaFerrari at just three years old. For Steven Victor, driving a Ferrari V12 is an emotional experience, very much so like hearing a hit record for the first time. The sound and feeling of the iconic engine configuration create a connection that he compares to his time in the recording studio when everything falls into place. Watch Ferrari Explore Charles Leclerc's Bespoke Daytona S...

Inspired by the historic race cars that dominated the 24 Hours of Daytona race in the 1960s, the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is one of the most exclusive Prancing Horse creations today. It features a stunning retro-inspired yet futuristic design, a powerful mid-mounted V12 engine, and a driving experience that is instantly recognizable as that of a Ferrari masterpiece. Part of Ferrari’s Icona series, the Daytona SP3 is highly exclusive and made to stand out even among other supercars. However, one example of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is even more special, as it belongs to Scuderia Ferrari F1 driver Charles Leclerc, who has customized it to be one of the most unique examples of the special supercar yet. In a new video published on Ferrari’s YouTube channel, the Prancing Horse explores what makes Leclerc’s supercar so special. It was customized in conjunction with Charles Leclerc himself and Ferrari’s Tailor Made team. A matte black color scheme gives the supercar a sleek, somewhat understated look. However, the configuration was chosen to echo the look of one of Leclerc’s racing helmets, which combined matte black with red and white central stripe detail, the colors of Monaco’s flag, where Leclerc hails from. The car is configured in the same manner, with matte black contrasted by a red and white central stripe. In addition, some of the beautiful carbon fiber details in the bodywork of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 are subtly highlighted with thin red stripes along the edges. A large Ferrari Scuderia shield is painted on the side, and Leclerc’s #16 racing number highlights Ferrari’s motorsport heritage and Leclerc’s contribution to the longstanding legacy. The interior features a contrasting look, with bright red upholstery. White contrast piping forms the look of the Monegasque flag yet again in the bespoke interior. The flag also features a small detail on the car's paddle shifters. Another bespoke detail is a small center plaque emblazoned with Leclerc’s racing number and signature. Realizing a dream both as a racing driver for Ferrari and an owner of one of the brand’s most prestigious supercars, Charles Leclerc’s bespoke Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a special occasion and a milestone of an incredible racing career.
