Ferrari & SK On Renew Technological Collaboration Agreement

Ferrari reaffirms its commitment to electrification. Ferrari is one of the most celebrated and historic manufacturers in the automotive world, and one of the most lauded aspects of Ferrari and its lineup of cars is its preservation of a dying breed: the V12 engine. The Ferrari 812 Superfast and 812 GTS, as well as the new Purosangue, are three of the few remaining performance vehicles still powered by a V12 engine, but Ferrari has also showcased an embrace of new innovation, namely electrification, showing off cars powered by V8 and even V6 engines with incredible performance thanks to the help of hybrid system. The Ferrari 296 GTB and GTS, as well as Ferrari’s SF90 Stradale and Spider, are some of the most impressive and innovative cars that Ferrari has made, with hair-raising performance and the combination of gasoline-powered engines and electric assistance for track domination. However, a new announcement from Ferrari reaffirms its commitment towards electrification. That announcement is of the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Ferrari and SK On, a Korean EV manufacturer and a pioneer in battery technology for the automotive industry. SK On provides the batteries for the SF90 and 296 models, and with the newly-introduced SF90 XX Stradale and SF90 XX Spider, which are roadgoing models that are focused on delivering ultimate racing performance, SK On’s battery technology contributes crucially to that exact performance ability. WIth a new Memorandum of Understanding signed, the two forces will continue to innovate and impress, pushing the automotive industry as a whole forward. View All Ferraris For Sale

Ferrari Secures Incredible One-Two Finish At 2024 Austral...

Ferrari adds another incredible F1 victory to its portfolio. There’s no doubt that Ferrari is one of the most preeminent names in the F1 universe. With decades of history in the exclusive sport and an unmistakable presence, Ferrari certainly has the propensity for placing high and winning big on the circuit. However, Formula 1 is a notoriously contentious, intense, and nail-biting racing challenge, and often, a Grand Prix can be anyone’s race. That’s why Ferrari’s victory is more than impressive at this year’s Australian Grand Prix, with a one-two finish seeing both Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc taking the top two positions. On top of the amazement of the one-two finish, Sainz’s win is amazing as the race marked his return to the Formula 1 championship after unfortunately leaving the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix the day before the race due to an appendicitis diagnosis that required an appendectomy operation. He came back with a vengeance, not only winning the race but also the fan vote for “Driver of the Day.” Finishing in second, Leclerc also delivered an incredible performance, setting the fastest lap time in the race, as well. The incredible finish that Ferrari delivered in Australia resulted in Scuderia Ferrari’s 86th one-two finish, and 244th victory, picking up the maximum possible 44 points thanks to Leclerc also setting the fastest lap. Looking forward, Scuderia Ferrari and the F1 championship move on to Japan, where the teams will duke it out again at Suzuka. View All Ferraris For Sale

A 1-of-1 Tailor Made Ferrari 812 Superfast Joins The Ferr...

Another Italian prancing horse model joins Museo Ferrari! Ferrari isn't just about engineering mid-engine supercars with track inspiration; it also has a soft spot for classic front-engine GTs. The 812 series stands out as a prime example, showcasing Ferrari's approach to blending traditional design with the raw power of a V12 engine, all packed in a sleek, elongated body. As the Ferrari 812 lineup continues to take the automotive world by storm with variations like the Superfast, GTS, and Competizione, the brand is proud to welcome the 812 Superfast into Museo Ferrari for its success and impact since its debut in 2017. The specific configuration joining the museum comes courtesy of the specialists at the Tailor Made bespoke division, who created a 1-of-1 Ferrari 812 Superfast with a historic livery and custom interior. From the outside, the 812 Superfast pays homage to Ferrari's early years by showcasing a historic Rosso Corsa finish. The bright red base is accentuated by a red, white, and blue racing stripe as well as #19 racing decals. Additionally, other off-catalog exterior upgrades include gloss silver-painted side mirrors and a set of chrome multi-spoke sports wheels. Inside, the driver-centric cabin comes to life with a pair of blue carbon sports bucket seats and red safety harnesses. But the real beauty lies underneath its hood, where Ferrari's 6.5L naturally-aspirated V12 delivers over 789 horsepower to the 812 Superfast's rear wheels. Having a monumental impact within the supercar realm during a time when electrification was the driving force for the future, it's no surprise that Ferrari is forever encapsulating the 812 Superfast within the walls of its museum. The Client-Spec Ferrari 499P Modificata Debuts On-Track A...

Ferrari brings the client spec of its Le Mans winner to the track. The Ferrari 499P, despite being incredibly new within Ferrari’s portfolio of race cars, has already taken up the role of being one of the most important vehicles in the history of the Prancing Horse. That’s because it marked Ferrari’s return to top-class endurance racing at the 100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans after an incredibly long 50 year hiatus, but not only did it return, it won. The 2023 Ferrari Finali Mondiali was then held at Mugello, where the new 499P Modificata was announced: a customer-spec version of the game-changing racing hypercar. Now, it returns to Mugello, where for the first time, a Ferrari client will be driving it on the track. With private sessions held yesterday, the 499P Modificata will share sessions with Ferrari F1 Clienti cars on the 15th and 16th, with Ferrari XX program cars taking to the track as well. Without the technical regulations that the WEC requires the 499P to adhere to, the 499P Modificata combines its V6 engine with a hybrid powertrain to harness 840 horsepower, along with a push-to-pass feature, and also all-wheel drive at low speeds for safe and predictable behavior for gentlemen drivers. The tires of the 499P Modificata were specially designed by Pirelli, using Formula 1-derived technology and ideas. With the 499P Modificata finally getting its moment in the limelight for Ferrari client racing, it will share its racing calendar with the F1 Clienti and XX programs, taking it from California to Hungary, then to Japan, France, Germany, and finally home to Italy for the Ferrari Finali Mondiali this year. With a history-making Le Mans-winning hypercar as its basis, the Ferrari 499P Modificata is arguably one of the most exciting customer racing cars from Ferrari yet. Oliver Bearman Finishes In 7th Place In Saudi Arabia GP F...

Despite unfortunate circumstances, Oliver Bearman showed racing prowess in his F1 debut. This past weekend, the 18-year-old Oliver Bearman was supposed to be racing at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Saudi Arabia as a Formula 2 driver. However, in an unfortunate and dramatic twist on Friday that saw Carlos Sainz requiring an appendectomy, Bearman was required to step up to the plate as Scuderia Ferrari’s reserve driver, making him the 97th driver to pilot a Ferrari in a F1 Grand Prix. With intense pressure on Bearman and little time to prepare for his Formula 1 debut, anticipation among Scuderia Ferrari fans built high to see how well he’d perform, and he did not disappoint. With a seventh-place finish, Bearman amazingly put points on the board for himself and Scuderia Ferrari at the end of the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, being the 61st Ferrari driver to do so. With Charles Leclerc finishing on the podium in third place, Scuderia Ferrari currently sits in second place among the teams this season. Following his appendectomy on Friday afternoon, Carlos Sainz felt well enough to return and watch the race, which was undoubtedly exciting as the 18-year-old Bearman and 26-year-old Leclerc, the youngest-ever pair of drivers in F1, managed to finish incredibly strong at the Grand Prix despite it being an even more strenuous challenge than usual. With the wind in its sails following Leclerc’s strong performance and Bearman’s dramatic rising to the occasion in Saudi Arabia, Scuderia Ferrari looks forward to returning to the track in Melbourne, with the first free practice sessions starting March 22. Carlos Sainz Exits Saudi Arabian GP For Appendicitis Surgery

Surgery will prevent Carlos Sainz from racing this weekend. As Scuderia Ferrari prepares for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix this weekend, an unfortunate emergency has prevented its driver, Carlos Sainz, from participating in the race weekend. The Spanish F1 driver has been diagnosed with appendicitis, which requires surgery. Ferrari has announced that he will be unable to participate in the rest of the race weekend and will be replaced by Oliver Bearman. As Scuderia Ferrari’s reserve driver, 18-year-old Bearman, hailing from the United Kingdom, currently races in the FIA F2 championship. However, this weekend will mark Bearman’s Formula One debut at the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. He will not participate in this round of the F2 Championship, instead joining Charles Leclerc on the grid for Scuderia Ferrari. As Carlos Sainz steps away from the Saudi Arabian race weekend to undergo appendicitis surgery, Ferrari wishes him a speedy recovery as Oliver Bearman steps to the place to drive in the first Formula 1 race of his career. As the race weekend unfolds at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, anticipation builds for Bearman’s performance and fingers are crossed for Sainz’s speedy recovery and prompt return to the F1 Championship.
