The Ferrari Purosangue Gets Sharper With New Handling Speciale Configuration

Ferrari sharpens the first four-door, four-seater Prancing Horse.

The Ferrari Purosangue has been in the manufacturer’s lineup for a few years now, but when it was introduced, it was unprecedented as Ferrari’s first-ever “four-door four-seater,” with a V12 engine under the hood for a robust and traditional approach to Ferrari performance. Now, the Purosangue is one of the most desirable luxury vehicles on the market, especially in the arena of Super SUVs. Thanks to its V12, along with features like coach-style rear doors, the Ferrari Purosangue is unique. However, Ferrari has just made the Pursoangue even more exciting when it comes to its performance, by introducing the new Purosangue Handling Speciale configuration. Available upon request for the Purosangue, the new Handling Speciale configuration sharpens the Purosangue to make it sportier, enhancing electronic and mechanical responses for more engaging driving.

The active suspension system is recalibrated by the configuration, reducing body movements to make the Purosangue feel less like a four-door and more like a supercar. With the Handling Speciale treatment, the Pursoangue reacts more directly to inputs and gives the driver a greater feeling of control in corners. The transmission with the Handling Speciale package also offers quicker response times and more decisive shifts, especially in the “Race” and “ESC Off” Manettino driving modes. In manual mode, shifts are sportier at engine speeds above 5,000 rpm, as well. The Handling Speciale configuration also features distinctive styling elements, including exclusive wheels, black carbon fiber Scuderia shields, black exhaust tips, black badging, and a specific interior plaque. Making Ferrari’s V12-powered four-door even sportier, the Ferrari Purosangue gets even sharper thanks to the new Handling Speciale configuration.
