Three cars this week, and on paper they are all of different tastes. The first is a near-new RUF SCR that Alois Ruf delivered to its original owner in person. The second is a 964 that Akira Nakai reworked at RWB headquarters in 2025, with far more going on underneath than the bodywork lets on. The third is a 4,981-mile 991 GT3 RS carrying most of the options people actually shop for.
This week's trio: one rear-engined formula, read three ways by RUF, RWB and Porsche itself.
2025 RUF SCR in Golden Classic

Golden Classic is a quiet color for a car this technically serious, and we'd argue that's the smartest thing about it. This SCR was commissioned by its original owner, unveiled at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance and delivered there by Alois Ruf in person. It has covered 1,949 miles since. The Paint to Sample exterior sits over Charcoal leather with black and creme Pepita inserts and Golden stitching, and folding carbon-fiber RUF Lollipop seats share the cabin with a visible-carbon dashboard and doors. Silver lightweight wheels and silver RUF calipers over carbon-ceramic brakes keep the outside from tipping into showpiece territory.
Don't let the familiar silhouette fool you. Underneath is RUF's own carbon-fiber monocoque with front and rear spaceframes and an integrated high-strength steel roll cage. The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six makes 510 HP at 8,270 rpm and sends it to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual and a limited-slip differential. With 1,250 kilograms to move, RUF quotes 3.4 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and a 320 km/h top speed, just under 199 mph. The options list covers the sensible stuff too: a front-axle hydraulic lift, a fire extinguisher and magnetic number plates.
Broad Arrow is asking $2,295,000. That's a serious number, and it's fair to ask what it gets you over ordering your own. Mostly, it buys time. If you aren't willing to wait years for a bespoke RUF build, here's a fully personal one that's barely through its break-in period. Just know what you're signing up for. Anyone hoping for a RUF that shouts across a parking lot should look elsewhere, because restraint is this car's whole personality.
1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 by RWB

Ferrari Verde Abetone over Porsche Ascot Brown leather is an unusual place to start an RWB 964, and it's the first thing that caught our eye. The donor car is a Japanese-market, non-sunroof Carrera 2, and Akira Nakai converted it at RWB headquarters in 2025. JCARS in Canada is offering it for $285,000, with 75,000 miles showing on the odometer.
RWB cars usually get talked about almost entirely in terms of Nakai's bodywork. This one deserves a different conversation, because the hardware reads like a 964 RS wish list. A 3.8-liter flat-six with sport camshafts, estimated at around 325 HP, runs through a shortened five-speed manual, a fresh Wavetrac limited-slip differential and a 964 Carrera RS lightweight clutch and flywheel. The engine mounts, short shifter, anti-roll bars and lightweight interior are RS-derived as well. Öhlins Road & Track suspension, 935-style spring plates and 993 Turbo "Big Red" brakes take care of the chassis, and the exhaust is a Cargraphic system with headers, heat exchangers, catalytic converters and valves feeding an Akrapovič GT3 RS titanium center muffler.
Inside are genuine Recaro Pole Position seats, custom gauges and a Porsche Classic head unit. Porsche also removed and serviced the engine less than 2,000 kilometers ago, covering seals, the distributor belt, intake components, fluids and the A/C. A couple of honest notes before you get carried away. That 325 HP figure is an estimate, so ask JCARS what's behind it if the number matters to you. And RWB bodywork paired with this color combination is going to split a room. If you've written these cars off as showpieces, though, this is the one that might change your mind.
2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Not every Spotlight car needs a rare color to earn its place. This GT3 RS wears White over Black leather and Alcantara with GT Silver stitching, shows 4,981 miles and, according to the seller, has been dealer-serviced its entire life. Front paint-protection film is already on. Gas Motorcars in Marietta, Georgia, is asking $254,979.
The option sheet is where it earns its keep. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, front-axle lift, fixed-back carbon buckets, Sport Chrono, black LED headlights with PDLS and the extended-range 23.9-gallon tank are all here, which covers most of what buyers go looking for on a 991.1 RS. Racing Yellow seat belts and satin-black 20/21-inch GT3 RS wheels supply what little contrast there is. Behind you, the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six makes 500 HP at 8,250 rpm and keeps pulling to 8,800. This was also the car that brought rear-axle steering to the RS line, along with a magnesium roof and carbon fiber for the front lid and front fenders.
Now the catch, and for some of you it's a dealbreaker. Porsche only offered this car with the seven-speed PDK, so if a third pedal is non-negotiable, keep scrolling. Everyone else gets a clean, properly optioned RS from just before turbo-era performance and more complicated aero changed what the later cars felt like. White over Black won't turn heads at a show. It doesn't need to.
