One-Of-701 1993 Porsche 911 RS America For Sale

This performance legend is a stateside superstar. There’s historical and cultural relevancy in just about every air-cooled Porsche 911 out there. The special 1993 Porsche 911 RS “America” was certainly one of them. While the Porsche 911, especially in its air-cooled iterations, is more of a driver’s car than many of its peers, the America version was even more focused on performance. In order to save weight, the America featured a fixed spoiler and lacked power steering, rear seats, and much of the other versions’ sound deadening. All that coming together resulted in a truly excellent car, and this example of the 911 GT3 RS for sale is certainly not one to miss. MUST READ: Porsche Classic Introduces New Modern Infotainment Systems For Retrofitting With its Lizard Green exterior paintwork, it’s hard to miss in the first place. The color, while shocking serves as the perfect contrast to the black accents, black wheels, and exposed carbon fiber throughout. Open the doors and you’ll be greeted to an interior that matches the exterior in its black and green color and sporty character. However, the real magic starts when the engine comes to life, as not only does this car promise unforgettably excellent track performance, but this specific one for sale has been customized with a cat back exhaust, enhancing the amazing and unique flat-6 engine note. Ultra Rare 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera RS Up For Sale

As far as air-cooled Porsche 911s go, 1995's Carrera RS sits among some of the rarest and most desirable models ever produced. Powered by a naturally-aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six, Porsche built the RS as a road-going homage to its 3.8-liter RSR race car. It develops 296 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, routed to the rear wheels exclusively via a six-speed manual transmission.  According to RM Sothebys, the German carmaker produced around 1,100 units worldwide, of which 274 rolled off the production line as 1995 model year cars. Adding to this car's rarity is that no RS was ever directly exported for the US market.  This particular RS is currently listed for sale by Graham Rahal Performance out of Brownsburg, Indiana, with an asking price of $649,995 and shows 73,154 kilometers on the clock (45,455 miles). It wears a bright Riviera Blue finished exterior with a contrasting black leather interior. This vehicle also features the optional Clubsport Aero Package, which helps give the RS its distinct aesthetic.  This vehicle is in excellent condition, given its age, and is already located within the United States.
