1980 Porsche 911 S Turbo Slant Nose Prototype For Sale

Porsche has always listened to their most valuable customers. Their in-house customization program is known as Porsche Exclusive and it can make your dreams come true. It was originally known as Sonderwunsch, or “Special Wish”. One particular German businessman, Mr Gerhard Amann had a wish to own a unique Porsche 911, and his order was fulfilled in October of 1980 with the first 930 S Turbo. The Flachbau, or "Flat Nose" 911 was inspired by the LeMans-winning Porsche 935. The head of the program was Rolf Spregner, and he has testified to the authenticity in an included email. Since the new bodywork increased the car's downforce, new wheels and tires were needed. The car's history includes a special note on the V-rated rubber. Massive for the time, they measure 205/55/16 up front and 245/45/16 on the rear. The factory recommended pressure is 29 psi front and 44 on the rear for better track results. Changing a production car in Germany requires a forest of paperwork, and it details like these are included in English along with the originals. As the prototype for the slant nose 930, it originally left the factory in silver metallic with four headlights in the front bumper. To keep it up to date, it went back to the Zuffenhausen factory in 1982 and 1985 for updated styling and an engine rebuild. It emerged with two round fog lights and 30 more horsepower, and the factory workers added a special touch in the glovebox. The original owner’s initials along with his favorite roulette numbers were etched in to thank him for being a loyal Porsche fan.The car has been featured in numerous books and magazines, and it comes with a complete ownership history and continuous records since new. The last time it was sold publicly was the Blackhawk Collection at Pebble Beach in 2007. A decade later it is your turn to own Porsche 930 Slant Nose #1.Learn More

2017 Porsche 911 Turbo For Sale

Of all the discussions we hear at car shows, nothing tops the Turbo vs Turbo S from fans of the Porsche 911. What began as a performance and styling upgrade on the 911 Turbo, the Turbo S evolved into its own model. The base prices of each are separated by a difference of $29,000 which is too much to stomach for some customers. That's why savvy dealers like Rusnak Porsche have the next best thing. Ordering a fully loaded 2017 Turbo, the options list comes to $21,081 in addition to the base price of $159,200. With all the bells & whistles, the 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo arrives with the center-lock wheels from the Turbo S, but the power difference is only 40 lb-ft and 30 horsepower.Big brother Turbo S is priced to compete with the likes of Lamborghini's Huracan and the McLaren 570S. Well equipped examples of the Audi R8 are also over $200,000. So the 911 Turbo is $20,000 cheaper than competitors for sale. It's also worth noting the 911 Turbo has more torque than them. So in a head to head battle, the 911 Turbo will dominate. Forced induction makes all the difference. The 911 Turbo responds better to any modifications than its naturally aspirated competitors. So you could use the difference in price to make your Turbo unbeatable by almost anything. When he isn't winning races as a Porsche GT3 driver, MLB All-Star Pitcher, C.J. Wilson is managing his dealership at Porsche Fresno. If you are planning a California vacation, the central valley has a charm all its own. Turbos can be found on Buicks and Bentleys these days, but some of us like to make power the old fashioned way. A 4.0-liter six-cylinder engine offers 500 horsepower at 8,250 rpm. A seven-speed PDK transmission will keep your hands on the wheel as all that power is sent to the rear wheels only. In terms of collectibility, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 2016 stands out. There is nothing like it among all Porsche 911 for sale in Southern California or anywhere else. Take a look at the other GT3 RS'  for sale and you will see what we mean.  Also Check Out: C.J. Needing an interior just as wild as the paint, leather, and Alcantara are Lava Orange. Custom tailoring was also specified, and the salesperson will be happy to elaborate on the details. The odometer shows 50 miles, but it was only used to allow potential buyers to understand the custom ordering process. Compared to the window sticker, this Porsche 911 GT3 RS price is an outright bargain. In terms of significance, the GT3 RS is so sought after that Lego decided to offer their own version. Behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT3 RS is nothing short of unbelievable. Power arrives in a smooth way until the screaming 9,000 rpm redline.
