2005 Ford GT For Sale

William Ford Jr. took control of his Great-Grandfather's company in 1999. His intentions were to revitalize the brand and show the world what Detroit is capable of. The first step was to save England's automotive industry. This was done by purchasing Aston Martin, Jaguar, & Land Rover. VIEW LISTING AND MORE INFO The second step would be to build a supercar with a blue oval badge. He was 10 years old when his uncle decided to buy Ferrari. When Enzo read the fine print, he insulted Henry Ford II and stormed out. This inspired Ford to build a car capable of shaming Enzo in front of the world. Carroll Shelby developed the GT40 in only a few months, and it got the job done. Bill Ford wanted a modern successor, so Carroll Shelby and Ford's Special Vehicle Team displayed the 2002 Ford GT concept at the North American International Auto Show, and the press went wild. Every bean counter at headquarters told him it couldn't be done, and that's why it was given the green light. The latest in aluminum and magnesium machining was used to form the body and chassis, and each car was painted by hand at Saleen Performance. What you see here is one of 5 ordered without stripes for 2005. Mark IV Red Clearcoat is an homage to the first generation, and the finish is still in showroom condition. That's because this car has only been driven 1,531 miles since it roared to life. It can be yours in a few weeks, as it will cross the auction block at Carlisle's Winter AutoFest in Lakeland, Florida. Aside from being one of the largest car shows & swap meets in the Southeast, their 2-day collector car auction has 400 classic & collectible cars consigned. This car will find a new home on Saturday, February 22nd, and the winning bidder will receive all original sales documents, owner history, window sticker, and service records. Since the release of Ford vs Ferrari, the 2nd generation cars are skyrocketing in value. Click the button below for all the details and stay with us for all your Carlisle coverage. VIEW LISTING AND MORE INFO Presented by Carlisle Auctions Winter AutoFest takes place at the ultra-spacious SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus in Lakeland, Florida. 1950 Westcraft Capistrano Calypso For Sale

If Don Draper would have had a trailer, you are looking at it. Westcraft epitomized Art Deco on wheels, and ‘Calypso’ is the brilliant result of more than a decade of meticulous restoration, craftsmanship and modernization. As the largest and most rare model Westcraft ever offered, the ‘Capistrano’ is 33 feet long, and features a Pullman roof with seven windows on each side, allowing 6’4″ of headroom. Only one other ‘Capistrano’ is known to us, in a completely dilapidated state. Owner Lucas Lackner purchased this example in neglected condition, and proceeded to assemble a team of some of the best craftspeople in California in order to achieve the finest restoration in the world.   The team was led by Steven Butcher, considered one of the premiere vehicle restoration experts, who worked with Lucas to envision a resto-mod unlike any other. They decided to improve upon the original design by integrating the latest in safety features, luxury, comfort and connectivity. Modern touches are hidden within cabinets and behind period switchplates and custom-made curtains in order to maintain the classical Deco feel. Rather than using LEDs, the light bulbs in the gorgeous fixtures were replaced with originals, although finding these old bulbs in good condition was a major task in itself. When it became time to address the woodwork, approximately half of the interior birch paneling needed to be replaced. The new sheets had to be custom fitted, and required numerous coats of tinted varnish and faux grain to match the originals. Once installed, all surfaces were given four coats of varnish and were sanded between every layer. The old-growth pine floors were removed, refinished, and treated to a unique inlay pattern from stem to stern. Even after many years without being repainted, only about 50% of the aluminum body was oxidized. Utilizing the latest in CNC waterjet technology, body panels with compound angles and curves were created. New heavy-gauge stainless steel surfaces were machined and individually fitted for the kitchen counters and bathroom interior, including a fantastic shower stall. All new period faucets and fixtures were incorporated into the design. The bathroom panels are interlocking to prevent any moisture penetration. Waterjetted and polished aluminum was used for the shelf trim, speaker grilles, fan & AC vents, drawer handles and grips. Meticulous details such as faucet fittings and the shower curtain rod were custom milled from solid aluminum. The propane tanks were polished and coated to prevent oxidation. The undercarriage and chassis were thoroughly cleaned, repaired and reinforced by adding gussets and plates in critical areas. The electrical wiring was completely replaced with 20-amp Romex. The wheels were refinished and fitted with new tires. The axles, brakes, and springs were also refurbished and updated. A new water heater was custom mounted to meet seismic codes, and the extremely quiet and energy-efficient Duotherm heating/AC system can be remote controlled. Two NAD audio systems can be played independently in the living and bedrooms, utilizing individual amps to drive NHT, Focal and Sunfire speakers. Each room has a Sony flatscreen with Bose sound bars using common connections to both surround-sound systems. Concealed throughout the trailer are USB charging sockets, ethernet and coaxial cables and modern grounded outlets. Other fine amenities include custom blinds throughout, a completely redone Dixie Permaview stove and a new Norcold freezer/fridge, which incorporates 3-way power, running off of 12v DC, 120v AC or propane. The fully restored late 1940’s American Standard jade toilet contains new internals and can be used in either the travel trailer or park trailer configurations. Both the exquisite carpentry and superb leatherwork were meticulously handcrafted by extremely experienced specialists. No expense was spared nor attention to detail overlooked in order to create a trailer that is unique in all the world. Please click the link below for further details, and prepare to be amazed! 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 for Sale

By 2011, the 991 series Porsche 911 was almost production-ready. So in order to give the 997 series a proper farewell, the 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 received some serious upgrades. By taking the crankshaft directly from the 911 RSR race car, the street-legal GT3 RS was bumped up to 4.0 liters of furious flat-six. It offers 500 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 339 lb-ft of torque. Variocam-Plus allows for independent timing of intake and exhaust cams, and a two-stage intake manifold offers torque across a wide plateau. It will stand the test of time as the first naturally aspirated 911 to offer 125 horsepower per liter. As one of the most efficient engines to-date, it makes use of high flow intakes and exhaust systems. More than just a big engine, the 4.0 was a model unto itself. Standard equipment included PCCB composite brakes, front end lift, and impressive aerodynamics. As one of the most highly optioned examples we've seen, it also has climate control and power windows. Thankfully the PDK transmission was omitted, so you get to enjoy the thrill of a proper heel-toe downshifts. It is 22 lbs lighter than its predecessor thanks to carbon fiber fenders and trunk lid. Even the connecting rods were forged from titanium to build this featherweight supercar. Only 600 examples of the GT3 RS 4.0 were produced for the world, and it will stand the test of time as the 997's Grand Finale. Click the link below to learn more about this pristine Porsche. Four Pristine, Classic Porsche 911s for Sale at O'Gara La...

Have you ever been to a museum and felt like you needed to own at least one work of art? What separates O'Gara Coach from the finest collections is that everything is for sale. Their inventory includes the latest from Bentley, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce and even Bugatti. But if you long for something classic and air-cooled, their 911 collection will knock your socks off. We picked four of the most outstanding Porsches in stock, so tell us your favorite in the comments below. 1987 RUF BTR This black menace is a real RUF BTR. It stands for Group B Turbo RUF and it was built to compete in Group B events. The massive turbo delivers 350 lb-ft of torque and 375 horsepower. It has impressive performance even compared to modern examples with a 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds and the quarter mile in 13.3. View Price & Listing 1977 Mexico Blue 911 Turbo This classic 911 Turbo was built with only the best parts; starting with $40,000 in engine work alone. It has a full-on no expense spared suspension (torsion bar) as to be period correct. A 100% rebuilt tranny with new gearing and Guard differential. At 7000 RPM/redline its maxed out at 132mph. Its short geared and a blast from 30 to 130 mph, not tall geared like the stock 930’s. The goal with this car was to build an early turbo hot rod, sort of how someone would have in the late 70s. The CIS system was rebuilt along with a KKK turbo. Weight reduction was a priority, and without seats and fiberglass front and rear bumpers it weighs 2154 lbs. The bulletproofed transmission has close ratios with a stock 1st gear, short 2nd, short 3rd and the new 4th is the old 3rd. This car will not be doing any long trips up the highway, wanted a back road hot rod which will scoot between 30mph and 120mph. This also means it will not fall off of boost between shifts. The engine block is shuffle pinned, Chambone crank 70.4, but is about 6lbs lighter than stock, Pauter Rods, LN cylinders, keeping it a 3.0, JE FSR Pistons at a true 7:65:1 , GT3 oil pump Xtreame ported & polished the heads, 38mm intake & Exh, Ti retainers, etc, 38mm injector blocks, K-27/29 turbo, Twin Plugged, 993 SS Cams, Turbo Craft intercooler, modded fuel head, warm up regulator, larger injectors. Using two 044 fuel pumps and it is running WM injection for safety. Another goal was to have a more rev happy turbo motor with boost (and fuel) to 7K. It makes 366 lb-ft of torque and 435 horsepower at the wheels. Given the short gears and 2300 lbs equals a scary-fast 911 Turbo! View Price & Listing 1973 Royal Purple 911 RSR Clone Complete coil suspension, big red turbo brakes, Motor extreme Porsche racing heads ($14k), Titanium rods, LN engineering cylinders, JE Pistons, 50 mm carburetors, Turbo fuel pump, Re-geared 915 transmission, Guard differential, Poly Motor mounts, GT3 RS oil pump, Quick ratio steering rack, Race pedals, Twin Master cylinder, Center fuel cell up front, Twin plugged  with DB distributor, 9k RPM motor with titanium internals. View Price & Listing 1971 Signal Orange Porsche 911 Where to begin… The inspiration for this build was a high-rpm track machine from the early 70’s. The 7R engine block is race-prepped, shuffle pinned and loaded with only the best components. It is a short stroke 2.7-liter that revs easily to 7,800 rpm.  The dyno was 268 hp to the wheels and the car is sub-2250 pounds and is geared right. From the shift linkage to the motor mounts, nothing was left to chance. Here is just a small list of the components used: -case parting halves machined flat and the main bearing saddles lined bored back to standard, case savers installed, spot face through bolt holes, cleaned oil galleries, KMW finished it off with machining for the GT-3 pump and oil mods. 66mm knife edged crank, oil mods, balanced and polished by Pauter. Pauter Rods,  LN Engineering Barrels (mooned), JE Pistons 10:5:1 – runs best with mixed race gas with pump 93 octane. DC-62 cams, 2.7 Heads Modded by Extreme with their TI retainers and springs, KMW uses this head on their 2.5 HSR race cars.  46 PMOs, JB Twin Plug Ignition, 901 Shop Headers, M&K muffler 2 in 2 out (modded by KMW), Carrera tensioners with jerry woods mod and Supertech tensioner arms. Supertech studs & pully. - Oil coolers in front fenders.  LW pressure plate and clutch, 915 transmission with short gears through 4th with a taller 5th, 8:31 R&P and Guard LSD.  Elephant Racing Street/Track 2 suspension with a set of Tarret sway bars. PMB supplied the early alloy front calipers and SC rears brakes. View Price & Listing Tell us which one you would buy, and why in the comments below.
