Watch Hennessey Race The MAMMOTH 1000 TRX Against The For...

Hennessey matches up two performance pickup legends. As the automotive world transitions to electrification and perfects its approach to combustion engineering, electric and gasoline-powered performance vehicles make for interesting matchups. In the pickup truck world, two of the best in their respective realms are the all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning, and the Ram TRX equipped with Hennessey’s MAMMOTH 1000 upgrade package. With Hennessey’s upgrade package, the Ram TRX truck’s power is increased to an incredible 1,000 horsepower from a supercharged V8 engine. However, with its electric power, the Ford F-150 Lightning quietly delivers instant torque for a futuristically powerful drive when the accelerator is pressed to the floor. Hennessey put the two together to duke it out in a drag race at its Pennzoil Proving Grounds at its Sealy, Texas headquarters to see which would reign supreme. In the first run, despite being closely matched at the beginning, the 1,000 horsepower Hennessey masterpiece came out in front. A rolling race yielded similar results, with the F-150 Lightning delivering incredibly impressive performance, with the MAMMOTH 1000 TRX eventually pulling out ahead to finish the race. While both electric and gasoline-powered performance trucks are impressive, Hennessey’s engineering expertise managed to come out ahead of the Ford F-150 Lightning’s futuristic approach. Hennessey's ‘Venom 775’ F 150

By Tyler Rampersaud –  October 24, 2023

Hennessey Unleashes The New Venom 775: A Ford F-150 with ...

Hennessey elevates the Ford F-150 to unparalleled heights. The automotive world is reminded again that everything is bigger in Texas as Hennessey, the hypercar manufacturer and high-performance vehicle tuner, unveiled its revamped Venom 775, a beastly Ford F-150 upgrade that raises the bar in the luxury performance truck segment. The Venom 775 is a masterclass in engineering finesse and unbridled power, as well as exclusivity with Hennessey promising limited production of just 250 units each year. Plus, they're throwing in a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty for good measure. Let's dive straight into the jaw-dropping numbers. The heart of the Venom 775 is a supercharged and intercooled 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine, pushing out an eye-watering 775 horsepower. If you’re keeping score, that’s a staggering 94 percent bump over the stock Ford F-150’s 400 horsepower, and a number that soars above performance truck peers like the stock Ford Raptor R and Ram TRX. But Hennessey didn't stop there. Through their Engine Management Calibration and other tweaks like upgraded fuel injectors and a high-flow air induction system, the torque also gets a major boost, landing at 727 lb-ft—a 77 percent increase over the original. Put the pedal to the metal, and this beast is no slouch, with a 0-60 mph sprint time of just 3.6 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 11.9 seconds. The Venom 775 isn't just about power; it’s also engineered for unparalleled on-road and off-road versatility. To make sure it stands its ground anywhere you take it, Hennessey includes a Fox lift kit, 20-inch alloy wheels, and 35-inch off-road tires. And for those worried about handling all this power, worry not—the suspension system has been refined, and multi-piston Brembo brakes with red calipers are installed to ensure you stop as well as you go. The front and rear bumpers aren't just for show; they’re designed for performance, adorned with 'Hennessey Venom' branding and LED illumination. Yet, despite the souped-up specs, Hennessey has gone to great lengths to ensure that the Venom 775 retains its factory drive modes. This means you can switch between modes like Normal, Slippery, Deep Snow/Sand, Mud/Ruts, and more, giving you the best of both worlds—a truck that’s both an off-road marvel and a high-performance machine. To top it off, the Venom 775 comes with a luxury interior that bears embroidered 'Hennessey' head restraints and exclusive Venom 775 badging. "It's compatible with premium trim levels, so there's no conceding luxury," says John Hennessey, company founder and CEO. The message is clear: with the Venom 775, you don’t have to compromise. To say that the Hennessey Venom 775 is a game-changer would be an understatement. It’s a new benchmark in the high-performance truck segment, combining off-road prowess with supercar speed. So, if you’re in the market for a truck that redefines limits, get ready to be stung by the Venom 775. But act fast; with only 250 units in production, this venomous wonder won't stick around for long. View All Vehicles For Sale From Hennessey " width="680">

The supercharged LT4 V8 is comprehensively upgraded to 1,000 horsepower – placing the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 in its crosshairs. Recognized as a world-renowned Texas-based hypercar manufacturer and high-performance vehicle builder, Hennessey Performance continues to pack more power into the industry's fastest American-made sports cars. The passionate team of professionals at Hennessey Performance have just revealed its last build series for the iconic EXORCIST Camaro ZL1 series, appropriately named the ‘Final Edition’. The baseline Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 showcases an already powerful 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 V8 engine that delivers 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque to its rear wheels. However, Hennessey fits this track-focused beast with an arsenal of upgrades that include a larger supercharger, top-tier air induction systems, and an engine revamp of components from cylinder heads to valve springs. Paired with a meticulously crafted HPE Engine Management software that fine-tunes the Camaro’s spirit, the LT4 engine's output jumps to an astonishing 1,000 horsepower and 966 lb-ft of torque. These figures translate to a breathtaking 0-60 mph time of just 2.1 seconds and a top speed touching 217 mph. The EXORCIST’s origin in 2017 was underpinned by Hennessey’s ambition to outmuscle the Dodge Demon and its 840 horsepower mark. And while Dodge recently upped the ante with the Challenger SRT Demon 170, boasting 1,025 hp, the EXORCIST ‘Final Edition’ remains prepared for both racing circuits and regular roads. An homage to the Camaro's successful history in the automotive space, each ‘Final Edition’ engine bears a commemorative serial number, marking 57 years since the Camaro’s start. The EXORCIST ‘Final Edition’, backed by Hennessey’s solid 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty, is now in production. Watch Hennessey Race The Ford Mustang Dark Horse & Shelby...

Two thoroughbred pony cars duke it out. For decades, the pinnacle of Ford Mustang performance was shown through Shelby Mustangs, which have offered increased power, racing-inspired engineering, and dialed-in performance focus. However, with the introduction of the newest generation of the Ford Mustang, Ford has decided to up the ante on the Mustang without the Shelby name, and has introduced the new Ford Mustang Dark Horse. With up to 500 horsepower coming from its 5.0-liter V8 engine, it’s one of the most powerful Ford Mustangs yet, and now that it’s out and on the road, one of the premier specialists in American performance simply had to put it to the test. Of course, that specialist is Hennessey, based in Texas and responsible for some of the most incredible performance upgrades for American cars, as well as some of the world’s most incredible hypercars. To test the mettle of the new Ford Mustang Dark Horse, Hennessey decided to race it against the reigning poster performance Mustang: the Shelby GT350R. Both cars are stock, with the Dark Horse boasting a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 with 500 horsepower paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and the Shelby sporting a 526-horsepower 5.2-liter V8, with a six-speed manual instead. The two cars took to Hennessey’s Pennzoil Proving Grounds to see which is faster. In a short drag race with a rolling start, both cars proved that they were quick and highly capable of delivering immense power and reaching high speeds, but due to the increased power of the Shelby, as well as its weight savings by roughly 140 pounds compared to the Dark Horse, it was able to come out on top. Both of these cars are incredibly powerful and quick, and prove that American performance is not to be underestimated, but in this race, the Shelby GT350R was the winner.
