Review
The 2016 XJR receives a mild facelift with LED lighting and more aggressive air intakes, but the big changes are inside. The all-new InControl system uses touch screens and hard drives that interface with your smartphone. The Meridian sound system has been upgraded to an 825-watt, 17-speaker system that hopefully won’t overpower the soundtrack from the 550 horsepower supercharged V8, which sends 502 pound-feet of torque through an eight-speed automatic.
