1993 Jaguar XJ220 for Sale: Rare Le Mans Blue Supercar Li...

Developed after hours by Jaguar engineers known as the “Saturday Club,” the XJ220 was never supposed to happen—yet it became the fastest production car in the world. Born from the XJR racing program and built in collaboration with Jaguar Sport and Tom Walkinshaw Racing, the final production version featured a 542-horsepower twin-turbocharged JV6 derived from the XJR-11, wrapped in aluminum bodywork styled by Keith Helfet. With a 0–60 mph time of 3.7 seconds and a Nürburgring production lap record to its name, the XJ220 was a true rival to the Ferrari F40 and Porsche 959. The 1993 example offered here is a late-production car—finished in rare Le Mans Blue over Smoke Grey leather, built in March 1994 and officially delivered in 1998. Imported to the U.S. in 2004 by collector Tim Hoiles, it has since been cared for by two additional owners and was displayed at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum. Today, it shows just 2,890 kilometers (~1,796 miles) and is offered through Graham Rahal Performance in Zionsville, Indiana. View Listing & Bid Now What truly sets this car apart is its exceptional mechanical condition. It has just completed a comprehensive restoration by Don Law Racing—renowned worldwide for XJ220 expertise—including a full six-year service with new timing belts, clutch, upgraded stainless fuel lines, refreshed cooling and ignition systems, decoked cylinder heads and pistons, new tires, and an emissions-compliant fuel tank system. A new OEM windscreen and gaskets were also installed. The transmission was removed and dry-ice blasted before reinstallation, and the braking system has been completely overhauled with rebuilt calipers, new rotors, pads, and servos—bringing this icon to modern mechanical standards. Offered with a clean CARFAX, Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate (in transit), and detailed service documentation, this is one of the most thoroughly prepared XJ220s available—an elite opportunity for collectors of rare Jaguars, landmark supercars, and investment-grade icons. Jaguar Debuts Type 00 Concept In New Tokyo Art Installation

Jaguar’s bold new vision breaks cover in Asia. A dramatic and sudden rebranding with a new logo and a revamped aesthetic has put Jaguar at the forefront of headlines across the globe within the automotive universe. At the center of that rebrand is a new concept car that envisions the bold future of the historic British luxury manufacturer, the new Jaguar Type 00. After debuting in Miami during last year’s Miami Art Week, the new concept has shown face at Paris Fashion Week, and also sat among Monaco’s ultra-luxurious yachts and exotic cars in the coastal city-state. Now, the buzzworthy and intriguing new vehicle has made its way to Asia for the first time, debuting as part of a new curated art space in Tokyo in collaboration with artist YOSHIROTTEN. Located within Warehouse Terrada G3‑6F, the new exhibition not only proudly displays the iconoclastic Type 00 concept against a unique, artistically modernist backdrop, but it also reaffirms Jaguar’s commitment to the Japanese and Asian markets, which have been key regions for the manufacturer’s success over the years. Chaki Zulu, a renowned Japanese music producer, has also joined the collaboration to offer a unique sound experience to the space. As Jaguar works to create a new vision for its historic brand that celebrates the rich past while also offering something new, different, and eye-catching, its new appearance in the ‘TOKYO FUTURE 00’ exhibition offers another perspective of Jaguar’s bold ambitions. FormerJaguar Designer Ian Callum Reimagines A Modern-Day ...

CALLUM, the design and consulting firm, founded by none other than one of the most important automotive designers of the 21st century, Ian Callum, has shown off a striking digital rendering of a modern-day Jaguar E-Type. This is a model that had a profound impact on Callum since he was a boy and was instrumental in paving a successful career path in transportation design. The render is a part of the company’s new Portfolio Series, a curated collection of bespoke design concepts, that celebrate individuality, craftsmanship and heritage. The Scottish designer took to social media calling this latest project a ‘Classic with a Twist’.  While Callum can be credited for his contributions and penning timeless icons like the Aston Martin DB7, DB9, Vanquish, Jaguar F-Type, and many more; he was also a key figure in reviving both brands. As Jaguar’s former design director, he helped steer the British marque into the modern age, all while retaining its soul.  The same cannot be said about Jaguar’s recent move, when it revealed its radical new Type 00 Concept. The primary goal of this exercise was to get the world talking about Jaguar once again, and on that front, they’ve succeeded. However, in a dramatic departure from the marque’s legacy and storied past that goes back decades set forth by founder Sir Willam Lyons; Jaguar now intends to reinvent itself as a futuristic all-electric luxury brand.  This is where Callum’s E-Type render hits back like a breath of fresh air. It’s certainly not a resurrection, but a respectful evolution? It most certainly is. Finished in a sleek satin silver against a contrasting red-interior and modern-LED DRLs, it honors the 1960s original. It’s proof that modern design doesn’t have to erase history to make a statement.  This is also why the restomodding scene is thriving, because these cars retain the aesthetics, while bringing mechanical and safety standards up to speed. Specialists like Singer and Gunther Werks are now big names and even within the Jaguar world, you have the likes of the Eagle Speedster and Low Drag GT based on the E-Type. Coming back to CALLUM, they’re a lot more than just a style house. Based in Warwick, England, it is a full-fledged design and engineering studio, working on everything from one-off commissions and unique furniture to all-terrain vehicles like the Grampian. As for the E-Type Project, more details will be revealed throughout the month of May. Watch this space. View All Jaguars For Sale Source: CALLUM/Instagram

JLR To Invest $180M Into Portland Tech Hub

JLR announces a large investment into its West Coast tech hub. Jaguar Land Rover has been in the process of entering a new era, radically futurizing its lineup of iconic British luxury cars like the Range Rover, whose upcoming electric version has an immense waitlists, and Jaguar’s lineup, with a dramatic rebrand and a radical new concept car that reveals an entirely different approach to the legendary brand. Over the next decade, a hefty $180 million will be invested into the 50,000 square-foot facility, which is in Portland, Oregon, a location chosen for its proximity to the technology capital of Silicon Valley. Jaguar Land Rover Invests $81.2M To Expand Paint Facilities

Jaguar Land Rover makes a big investment towards its forthcoming era. Jaguar Land Rover is on the cusp of a transformational new chapter in its rich history of creating celebrated luxury British vehicles. The legendary Range Rover, which for many enthusiasts is the quintessential SUV, is soon to be revealed in a new all-electric variant with a waitlist that has thousands of clients and a development cycle that is coming close to fruition. In addition, Jaguar has showcased a revolutionary rebrand, including a new logo and a new identity, with a new Type 00 concept car showcasing the potential future of Jaguar’s engineering and design language. However, an important behind-the-scenes move has been made towards bringing the new era of Jaguar Land Rover to fruition: the investment of roughly $81.2 million towards expanding its UK and Europe-based paint operations for bespoke vehicle personalization, thanks to the doubling of demand. Aligning with its strategy towards net zero carbon emissions as a company, the paint facilities Castle Bromwich, UK, and Nitra, Slovakia will be reimagined to have lower environmental impact. In the UK, the investment in the facilities will be specifically to facilitate SVO paintwork on bespoke and ultra-luxury vehicles. In the example of the Range Rover SV, an SV Bespoke commission adds roughly $87,400 to the price, heightening the lofty approximately $252,300 price. Despite the high price for a bespoke commission, demand for the personal expression and luxury of SV Bespoke commissions is growing, hence Jaguar Land Rover’s expansion of its SV Bespoke paint abilities and continued commitment to reducing emissions as it ventures towards its next era. Jaguar’s Type 00 Concept Teases A Bold Electric Future

Jaguar’s latest unveiling, the Type 00 concept, has stirred up conversations across both the automotive and art worlds. Showcased at Miami Art Week, the brand's bold design hints at what the electric future might hold for the age-old manufacturer. With a controversial silhouette featuring an elongated front end, fastback profile, and massive 23-inch alloy wheels, the Type 00 aims to represent a unique blend of tradition and modernity. Two colorways (“Miami Pink” and “London Blue”) highlight the concept’s playful connection to art. Whether it’s the glassless tailgate or panoramic body glazing, the design surely challenges automotive norms while trying to pay homage to Jaguar’s storied past. Underneath its dramatic styling, the Type 00 features Jaguar’s newest electric platform, JEA (Jaguar Electric Architecture), promising cutting-edge performance. While Jaguar's concept is purely a design test, it’s a clear preview that the electric four-door GT has plans to launch in 2025. That production car will hold up to 430 miles of range, rapid charging, and the kind of performance EVs are becoming known for. Inside, the Type 00 is a blank canvas for bold material choices, like brass accents and travertine stone, alongside innovative options like deployable screens and bespoke mood-tailoring features. This interior is about comfort and creating a cabin that feels as artistic as it is futuristic. All of these thoughtful design elements show that Jaguar is looking to redefine how drivers experience luxury in an EV. The Type 00’s reveal at an event like Miami Art Week feels symbolic of the brand’s ongoing transformation. As Jaguar continues its journey toward becoming an all-electric manufacturer, concepts like the Type 00 showcase its drive to remain relevant while trying to embrace its rich history. While it’s too early to tell how this vision will shape the production models to come, it’s clear that the brand is committed to pushing boundaries. TWR Reveals New 1-of-88 V12 Manual Supercat

Classic legacy is the foundation of this new supercar. Jaguar is known and celebrated for its long legacy of British luxury cars, many of which boast sporty, high-performance driving character. A significant part of Jaguar’s racing and performance legacy was formed with the help of Tom Walkinshaw Racing, who secured victory for Jaguar race cars at tracks like Bathurst and Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. Now, under the leadership of Tom Walkinshaw’s son, Fergus Walkinshaw, that legacy is being revived with the debut of the new TWR Supercat. Based on the iconic Jaguar XJS, a legendary sports car in Jaguar’s heritage, the new Supercat is a V12-powered Super-GT that modernizes the XJS’s appeal, and incorporated design elements from various legendary Jaguar cars, like the XJR-9, the XJR-15, and the legendary XJ220, which was in its time the fastest production car in the world. The supercharged V12 engine that lies underneath the new Supercat’s hood is developed entirely in-house by TWR, and boasts an impressive 660 horsepower and 538 lb/ft of torque. That power is sent to the rea wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. Despite adopting the XJS’s retro look and charm, the new TWR Supercat features modern engineering innovation for optimal performance, including carbon fiber body panels, available carbon ceramic brakes, programmable traction control, and more. Automotive legend Magnus Walker lent his talent to the Supercat’s design, as well. The cars are built to order, and only 88 examples will be made, with right-hand drive and left-hand drive examples available in markets like the UK, the US, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Prices for the new TWR Supercat start at roughly $285,000, and a limited number of build slots remain open for the incredible retro-modern supercar. View All Jaguars For Sale Image Source: TWR
