Live Look at the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 at Frankfurt Mot...

Walking through the Lamborghini booth in Frankfurt, we were able to get up close and personal with the latest from Lamborghini. It took great leadership and a forward vision to bring Lamborghini into the modern era, and we lament the loss of their inspiration. Although the model was already finished, the head of VW Group passed away on August 25th. That is why the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 Honors the late Dr. Piëch. Browse Lamborghini For Sale Ferdinand Karl Piëch was born in Vienna in 1937. As a grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, he studied as an engineer while also becoming a visionary for Volkswagen's future. Under his leadership, Volkswagen transformed Audi into a luxury brand and oversaw the acquisition of Škoda, SEAT, Bentley, Ducati, Bugatti, and Lamborghini. He even fought off a hostile takeover by his Porsche cousins who attempted to take the entire company private in 2011. So many enthusiasts and employees have him to thank for leading VW into the modern era. We thought it would be Porsche who would honor him first, but the good people of Sant'Agata chose their latest supercar as a fitting tribute. The Lamborghini Sián represents the future of the brand. Combining their bulletproof V12 with supercapacitors is the perfect blend of power and hybrid technology. Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stefano Domenicali said: Prof. Dr. Piëch innately understood the attraction and potential of the Lamborghini brand and how it could fit within the Volkswagen Group, whilst retaining its unique Italian super sports car identity and design and engineering. (He) was an engineer and an innovator, particularly appreciating the appeal of the iconic Lamborghini V12 powertrain on which today, the Sián FKP 37 combines pioneering hybrid technologies. The Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 provides fitting recognition of the role Piëch, and the Volkswagen Group, played in facilitating our flourishing brand today, as well as heralding Lamborghini’s innovative route to the future.” Ferdinand Karl Piëch: April 17, 1937-August 25th 2019 Ferdinand Piech, chairman of Volkswagen AG, passes through a display of automobiles at the company's annual general meeting (AGM) in Hanover, Germany, on Thursday, April 25, 2013. Lamborghini Sián Hybrid Debuts Ahead of Frankfurt

This one has been in the works for a while because the engineers have hidden their prototypes in plain sight. Last night the Lamborghini Sián Hybrid debuted ahead of Frankfurt Motor Show, and its details are stunning. Sián translates to 'Lightning Bolt' in their Northern Italian dialect. The name is appropriate because it uses their traditional V12 paired with supercapacitors. Smaller and lighter than any battery, capacitors can discharge all their power at an instant, adding 34 metric horsepower when needed. We haven't seen a prototype because the technology was hidden in normal looking Lamborghini Aventadors. Another advantage of the capacitors is that they are instantly charged every time the brakes are used. The power boost is available up to 80 mph if you need to merge onto the highway in style. Capacitors are used around your home to start the A/C compressor, refrigerator, and other high load devices. They can remain charged for decades, so stay away from old TVs, ask me how I know... For an electrifying style, their central styling department (Centro Stile) partnered with Lamborghini's Ad Personam department. The reason for the inclusion of their custom shop is because only 63 cars will be built. The prototype will be unveiled in Frankfurt wearing Verde Gea and Oro Electrum base coats with several layers of clear and metal flake. Converting their metric specs to SAE, the car has an output of 807 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque to the AWD system. This gives it a better power-to-weight ratio than the Aventador SVJ. Of course, the 63 owners have already placed their deposits, but our dealers have several Aventador models to choose from. Click the link below and stay with us for all your Lamborghini news. Lamborghini is Teasing Something Wild

Are you ready? I'm ready. But what for? I'm talking about whatever Lamborghini is currently teasing on Instagram because it looks... interesting. The teaser posted up on their Instagram account, found below, includes the silhouette of a new Lamborghini car. But what will it be? The most visible part of the car in the photo is the pair of lights which are reminiscent of the Terzo Millennio but not identical. This may point to the car being more of a limited production model, but that's just speculation. Could it be a replacement for the Aventador? Who knows. But we will find out what it is at IAA 2019 September 12-22, 2019. see all lamborghinis for sale https://www.instagram.com/p/B1eQe7Iorw-/ Also Check Out: 2016 Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster Specs, Price and Pics Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster & Huracan EVO GT Celebration Unveiled

Lamborghini Miura Receives Dedicated Class at Pebble Beach

Nothing will ever capture your attention like a Lamborghini Miura. It is the result of a team of stylists and engineers who intended to beat Maranello at their own gams. Ferruccio Lamborghini built an empire with his tractor business. As an engineer, he kept finding flaws in his wife's Ferrari. Enzo told him to go back to farming. So began Lamborghini Automobili. He hires Giampolo Dallara, and Marcel Gandini, and the oldest of the group was 27 years old. The Miura is a 4.0L DOHC V12 mounted transversely behind the cockpit. Nothing like it will ever happen again, so the Lamborghini Miura has received a dedicated class at Pebble Beach. Only 763 cars were built by hand between 1966 to 1973, including the famous wreck at the intro of "The Italian Job". When Miura owners heard of this year's special class, only 5 cars met the criteria to be displayed. They are in-transit from around the world, with 3 examples being restored by Lamborghini Polo Storico. The cars are as follows: 1967 P400 from Belvedere, CA Chassis #3087- 22nd production car built 1968 P400 from Medina, WA, Chassis #3303- Originally owned by the Shah of Iran 1968 P400 from Liechtenstein Chassis #3586- The hero car from "The Italian Job" 1972 P400 SV- Owned by FIA President Jean Tod Chassis 3673- Restored by Polo Storico in 2018 1968/1975 SVR- Sold to Shinji Takei, Japan Chassis 3781. Sold to Heinz Steber in Germany (1974) who sent it back to the factory to be converted into a race car.
