Why You Should Buy a Lamborghini Aventador SV

If you haven’t had an opportunity to drive Lamborghini’s flagship model, you are missing out. The Aventador has been in production since 2011, and there is no denying that it is among the most potent and advanced supercars on the market. But as with every car, there are a few areas that needed improvement. That’s why the engineers in Sant’Agata have unleashed a host of improvements to the raging bull. The last major area of improvement is in the steering gear. Electronic power steering is here to stay, so in order to give the driver more feedback, the SV is fitted with Lamborghini Dynamic Steering. The new steering rack is variable ratio, which offers more feedback and greater control while cornering.Of course the engine is more powerful, the bodywork is more extreme and the performance is greatly improved, but the Aventador SV is a supercar that is equally at home on track and street. As usual, the waiting list will take some time, but we do have a handful of examples listed for sale on duPontREGISTRY.com. Lamborghini Commemorates Miura with "The Italian Job" Route

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Lamborghini Miura, and with it have come numerous celebrations, rallies and commemorations. Lamborghini most recently revealed the commemorative edition Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage and the revamp of the Lamborghini Museum to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Miura. Now, the beloved car brand is taking things a step further.(Related Read: Lamborghini Miura and Aventador SV Face Off)Their latest commemorative move for the Miura is a page straight out of popular film, The Italian Job. Two Miuras from the Lamborghini Museum made their way down the exact route filmed for the movie. According to the press release:Starting in Sant’Agata Bolognese, where Lamborghini’s factory and museum is located, current V12 Lamborghini models including the Aventador Coupé, Roadster, Superveloce and Superveloce Roadster travelled back to the 1960s via the Pianura Padana, with stopovers in Vigevano and Aosta, before meeting up with the Miuras. But that isn't the best part. The Miuras were then used for a remake of the opening scene of the movie, which took place in the Italian Alps. The "fathers" who created the Miura, reunited and shared in a little celebration and conversation during the event. Sounds like a pretty exciting day for all involved! Check out the video from the reboot below:Lamborghini Miura for Sale

LIberty Walk Ferrari 458 & Lamborghini Aventador Spit Fla...

Italian cars are known for transforming fuel into acceleration, but they are also capable of fireworks from the exhaust. Remember the Liberty Walk 458? When its not whipping up a batch of donuts, their custom exhaust is great for using their aftermarket exhausts to scare spectators. But it caught the attention of a rival at the beginning of this year's Gold Rush Rally. In a parking structure in downtown Boston, these two lined up for a high revving showdown. To save the engines from going beyond their red line, the computer disables the spark plugs to momentarily shut down the combustion. With the ignition off, extra fuel is sent in to cool the valves and cylinders. The raw gas is suspended in the exhaust until it reaches fresh air at the tailpipes, and the reaction is an  instant explosion. This is very hard on every part of the engine, so unless you have aftermarket bearings and valve springs, you probably shouldn't try this at home. View All Ferrari 458 Italia News, Articles, Video

Lamborghini Miura and Aventador SV Face Off

When it comes to classic supercars, there's something special imbued in their history and styling. Still, the new oftentimes superior supercars provide a feeling of exhilaration the classics can't measure up to. If you had the option, would you choose classic supercar status or sleek and new?CAR magazine's Chris Chilto asked the same question, so he took a 1966 Lamborghini Miura and the new Lamborghini Aventador SV for a spin to see which car he'd prefer when it comes to driving experience. Driving each, Chilto gives a breakdown of the best features of each car. The styling of the Miura, futuristic in shape and line for its age, really appeals to him, but driving it is still "like driving an old car," he states. The Aventador SV, on the other hand, gives more power and better handling. From steel chassis to carbon fiber and a brand new engine, Chilto breaks down all the differences and gives insight into the essence of what makes a supercar a supercar.Check out the full experience in the video below.Lamborghini Aventador SV For Sale
