2027 Lamborghini Temerario Super Trofeo Breaks Cover at M...

Lamborghini has pulled the wraps off its next one-make race car, the Temerario Super Trofeo, at Misano World Circuit, set to debut in 2027 across Europe, North America, and Asia. It marks a historic turning point for the brand and a bittersweet farewell to the 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 that defined Lamborghini racing for nearly a decade.   In its place, a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, a downsized yet far more capable engine designed to meet modern emissions standards and deliver more compact packaging, torque, and power. The new engine produces 650 horsepower in race spec, while the road-going Temerario Stradale packs 800 horsepower. Lamborghini also skipped hybrid assistance altogether, keeping the car lighter, simpler, and more focused. "In 2009 we made the bold decision to launch the Gallardo Super Trofeo.Lamborghini was not born as a racing brand, yet our customers have constantly asked us for a product designed for the track. Over the years, Super Trofeo and customer racing have become a true pillar of our long-term company strategy, strengthening the bond between the brand and its most passionate clients. With the Temerario Super Trofeo we are taking another decisive step, reaffirming our promise to deliver a pure race car for the growing community that joins us during the Lamborghini Super Trofeo weekends." - Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. Within the Temerario hierarchy, the Super Trofeo sits between the Stradale and the Temerario GT3 introduced back in July, sharing the Hoer-developed six-speed sequential gearbox with the GT3 car. For the first time, the two machines share major mechanical components, including parts of the chassis and drivetrain. Ironically, the Super Trofeo packs more power than the GT3, whose performance is capped at around 585 horsepower by SRO’s Balance of Performance (BoP) regulations.  The Super Trofeo is roughly a second per lap quicker than its GT3 sibling while costing about half as much to buy and maintain. It comes equipped with rear-wheel drive, ALU/CFK hybrid chassis,  and 12-stage traction control with ABS. It also gets enhanced aerodynamics, including a larger rear wing, a new front splitter, and an aggressive rear diffuser that collectively push more downforce while improving stability.  Compared to the Huracán Evo2, the Temerario takes a more rational design approach, ditching the rear fin, roof scoop, and flared fenders in favor of cleaner lines and standard mirrors. Inside, the Temerario features an integrated FIA roll cage, and it also debuts Dinamica Infinity, a 100% PES non-woven suede used on the dashboard, marking its first application in motorsport. Lamborghini’s Super Trofeo began with the Gallardo, and the series has today become one of the world’s most successful brand cups. Since 2009, more than 1,300 drivers have raced across 563 events worldwide, and the Temerario Super Trofeo continues that legacy: leaner, meaner, and more rational. making it a cornerstone of Lamborghini’s motorsport identity and a lucrative business for Sant’Agata. One of 63: 2020 Lamborghini Sián Coupe Finished In Aranci...

One of Lamborghini's most legendary supercars is up for sale. Automobili Lamborghini has been a benchmark for Italian design and performance, engineering supercars that balance aggressive styling with mind-blowing horsepower for decades. Beyond its production lineup, Lamborghini occasionally turns its attention to exclusive, small-batch hypercars built for its most dedicated clientele. Born as Lamborghini's first hybrid production car, the Sián debuted in 2019 with just 63 units planned as a nod to the company's founding year of 1963. The car's name, "Sián," means "lightning" in Bolognese, which fits perfectly considering it combines the manufacturer's iconic naturally aspirated V12 with a touch of electrification. The team at Velocity Honolulu is proud to present this 2020 Lamborghini Sián as part of its inventory of exotics for sale on duPont REGISTRY. Finished in a vibrant Arancio Atlas gloss paint, this Sián example pays homage to Lamborghini's early use of bold colors on icons like the Miura. The sharp, wedge-shaped bodywork features gloss carbon fiber accents that both add to its timeless look and also shed unnecessary weight and improve aero. From its front fascia and Y-shaped headlights to its rear with hexagonal taillights and integrated active aero, the Sián looks more like a concept car than a five-year-old production supercar. Lightweight multi-spoke wheels, staggered for performance, complete its aggressive stance and guarantee the Sián can lay down the power while setting lap times. Step inside, and the Sián takes a different approach. Instead of drowning you in luxury, it strips things back to keep the focus on the drive. The black-and-orange cabin mirrors the exterior, running through the sport seats, center console, and steering wheel with an aggressive but purposeful style. Carbon fiber trim reinforces the lightweight DNA, while the layout feels more like a cockpit than a lounge, reminding you that, despite its exclusivity, Lamborghini built the Sián strictly for speed first. Under the skin is where the Sián really makes its mark. The 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 produces over 808 horsepower when combined with its electric motor, making it the most powerful Lamborghini ever when it launched. Instead of a heavy lithium-ion battery, it uses a supercapacitor for instant power delivery, setting it apart from most hybrids on the road. Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Sián rockets from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. It's fast, loud, and dramatic, everything you expect from Lamborghini, yet it also hints at the electrified direction supercars are inevitably heading. View Listing

Lamborghini Turns Factory Waste into Giant Robots at Lucc...

Automobili Lamborghini has brought an unexpected twist to Lucca Comics & Games 2025.  The brand unveiled six towering “super robots” built entirely from discarded materials collected at its Sant’Agata Bolognese factory. Each sculpture embodies one of nature’s core elements: air, earth, and water, reimagined through Lamborghini’s bold design philosophy. Created in collaboration with SCART, the artistic division of the Hera Group, the project bridges industrial waste with creative sustainability.  In Piazza San Giusto, you'll find a bright yellow Lamborghini Revuelto V12 HPEV sitting between two towering figures: Jotun Forge and Gea Stone, guardians of the earth. In Piazza San Michele, Skyrenn and Jetron rise against the Romanesque façade, their aerodynamic wings and streamlined torsos symbolizing purity of air. Meanwhile, in the courtyard of Palazzo Guinigi, Marixx and Mega Tide, the amphibious pair, represent water, their reflective surfaces echoing movement and regeneration.  Look closely at any of these sculptures and you’ll see parts that once belonged to Lamborghinis. You’ll find everything from hoods, bumpers, diffusers, exhausts, to speakers, filters, and carbon-fiber panels, all now reborn as larger-than-life guardians of the environment. The angular forms carry the signature Lambo-design DNA, which could have only come from the Italian marque’s in-house design studio Centro Stile. “This project tangibly expresses our vision of industrial responsibility: giving new life to waste materials means extending the culture of quality beyond the finished product. Every Lamborghini component is created to endure and to convey emotion, and seeing them transformed into works of art demonstrates that design, technology, and creativity can coexist in a virtuous way. The collaboration with SCART and the Hera Group reflects our constant pursuit of innovation — also in our processes — and our desire to generate value starting from what would normally be discarded” - Christian Mastro, Marketing Director of Automobili Lamborghini. But crucially, the message here is that every robot carries a mission: Gea Stone and Jotun Forge restore balance to the soil, Skyrenn and Jetron purify the air, and Marixx and Mega Tide cleanse the oceans. Their bodies may be made of production waste, but their message is about renewal and responsibility. All six began as sketches by Marvel artist Giuseppe Camuncoli, but each of the three pairs was developed by a different Italian art academy. Students from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence designed Marixx and Mega Tide, their counterparts in Ravenna created Skyrenn and Jetron, while Milan’s POLI.design brought Gea Stone and Jotun Forge to life. Following their debut in Lucca, the exhibits will also be shown at Ecomondo 2025 in Rimini (November 4-7) before joining Lamborghini’s own series of events in spring 2026. Lamborghini Concludes Polo Storico 10th Anniversary With ...

2025 marks ten years of Lamborghini Polo Storico, the Italian marque’s dedicated heritage division that restores, authenticates, and preserves classic Lamborghinis. From factory restorations to archival discoveries, we’ve extensively covered its anniversary activities all year. The finale at Auto e Moto d’Epoca (October 23-26) in BolognaFiere brings those celebrations to a fitting close, as Lamborghini is displaying its oldest surviving example in its history: the 350 GT chassis #02, inside Hall 29, at the heart of Italy’s Motor Valley. If you know Lamborghini history, you know that it was this car that marked a pivotal moment, going from a tractor manufacturer to an automaker and subsequently, the brand widely credited with inventing the modern-day supercar. First presented at the 1964 Geneva Motor Show, the 350 GT was the company’s first production model and Ferruccio Lamborghini’s declaration to the world that he was ready to challenge Italy’s finest. At its heart, a 3.5-liter V12, engineered by Giotto Bizzarrini, sitting within a stunning 2+2 ground tourer body, done by famed coachbuilder, Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera. The car was further refined for production by Paolo Stanzani. This particular 350 GT is special even by Sant’Agata standards, because on its hood sits one of Ferruccio’s early logo experiments, a black and white emblem that predates the now iconic gold bull. The car is currently undergoing authenticity certification by Polo Storico. Next to it sits something equally remarkable: a full-scale interior study from 1963, the oldest document in Lamborghini’s archive. The 1:1 drawing reflects the early collaboration with Carrozzeria Touring and demonstrates the attention to detail with which the brand approached design from the very early years. “Participating in Auto e Moto d’Epoca is the ideal occasion to conclude a year of celebrations dedicated to Polo Storico. We couldn’t tell our story better than by showcasing the car with which it all began – the 350 GT. At the same time, our presence in Bologna allows us to present our future activities, which will see the timeless Miura at the center of new initiatives dedicated to our clients and collectors.” - Giuliano Cassataro, Head of After Sales at Automobili Lamborghini. Those future activities include the Lamborghini Polo Storico Tour, planned for 2026 to mark the 60th anniversary of the Lamborghini Miura, the world’s first supercar. If you own a vintage Lamborghini or are considering certification, it is worth knowing that the department’s restoration and authenticity programs don’t just protect heritage; they can also significantly elevate a car’s provenance and long-term value. The Secret Unseen Countach That Revived Lamborghini's Wed...

In our recent coverage of Lamborghini Centro Stile’s 20th Anniversary celebrations at the brand’s museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese, the spotlight was on the Lamborghini Manifesto concept. But tucked among the lineup of design studies was something far more intriguing: an unreleased Countach prototype that shaped the production version of the LPI 800-4, a name that celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2021. Lamborghini’s current design director, Mitja Borkert, recently shared close-up shots of this prototype on his Instagram. Before the Countach LPI 800-4 project was finalized, this prototype served as its visual test bed, a design feasibility study executed with near-production accuracy. The final car that debuted during the 2021 Monterey Car Week and is limited to just 112 examples worldwide carries much of that DNA forward, from its low stance to its dramatic proportions. However, look closely and the differences lie in the detailing: the prototype’s surfaces were sharper, its lines more geometric, its intent purer. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Mitja Borkert (@mitjaborkert) This pre-production 1:1 model served as the creative bridge between past and present, was able to capture the essence of Marcello Gandini’s original wedge philosophy under Bertone from the early 1970s, but with even greater design freedom. Without the usual constraints of homologation or production tooling, Borkert’s team could fully explore the possibilities of what a modern-day Countach could truly look like. The production LPI 800-4 combined a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 with a 48-volt electric motor to produce 802 horsepower. It could sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 221 mph. It represents the creative inflection point when Lamborghini’s designers revisited Gandini’s legacy through a modern lens, proving that half a century later, the wedge still defines the soul of Sant’Agata. Find out in-depth walkaround with Mr.Borkert, where he dives into the development of this one-off creation and highlights the differences to the production variant. 675-Mile Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4 SV For Sale at Fo...

It's like buying a brand-new Mucielago SV in 2025. Considered a showstopper upon its 2001 debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show with vertical scissor-style doors and a screaming V12, the Lamborghini Murciélago hasn't lost its steam among collectors and enthusiasts. As the automotive world continues its future-forward shift towards electification and low emissions, raw, analog V12 supercars like the Murciélago are skyrocketing in value as they represent an era of motoring that can never be replicated. The Fort Lauderdale Collection South team is proud to offer a rare piece of that memorable era with this immaculate 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4 SuperVeloce now for sale on duPont REGISTRY. Only now making its revival as the next collector's gem, finding a pristine, low-mileage Murciélago proves to be next to impossible, being that they were a flagship model well-enjoyed by owners without odometer anxiety. This example stands out as the crown jewel of the Murciélago lineage, being the pinnacle LP670-4 SV, of which only 186 of the 350 planned chassis made it through production. Finished in a stealthy factory Nero Aldebaran shade that conceals its added lightweight aero, it also features vibrant yellow SV graphics that match its massive carbon ceramic brakes. Opening the signature scissor doors reveals a driver-centric interior that focuses more on stripping weight and commanding attention rather than comfort amenities and tech. Exposed carbon fiber and black alcantara covers almost every inch of the cabin with yellow contrast stitching, layered over one-piece carbon bucket seats. Taking inspiration from Italian fighter jets and applying it to the tarmac, the interior of a Lamborghini Murciélago SV may be one of the only instances where less is more. Under the hood, the Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4 SV packs a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 that's loud, unfiltered, and absolutely relentless. It puts down 661 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque, sending all that power to all four wheels through a six-speed e-gear transmission. The result is a 0–60 mph sprint in just 3.2 seconds and a top speed north of 210 mph. It's the kind of performance that feels more alive than clinical, reminding you that this was one of the last true analog V12 Lamborghinis before the world went digital. View Listing

Lamborghini Explains The Origins Behind Its 400+ Colors

Lamborghini tells some of the stories behind its broad spectrum of colors. Lamborghini is one of the most celebrated supercar manufacturers in the automotive world, with a lineup that represents cutting-edge engineering, immense power, ultra-exclusive luxury, and, of course, eye-catching looks. Part of that is a range of over 400 colors that Lamborghini customers can choose from, especially with the help of the Ad Personam palette that helps owners turn their Lamborghini supercar into a statement of personal expression. However, with a wide range of available colors, many have special stories and origins that makes their contributions to Lamborghini’s offering even more vibrant and rich. The seasoned Lamborghini enthusiast will notice many mythologically inspired names for Lamborghini colors. Shades like Nero Nemesis, Arancio Apodis, Viola Pasifae, Blu Cepheus, draw inspiration from ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian mythology, and the names themselves have Greek and Latin roots. Stories and events that happened within Lamborghini’s own history have become inspirations for colors, as well. The story of Verde Scandal is especially entertaining: it is said that in the 1960s, a customer wanted a Lamborghini that matched the color of her dress. When the representative from Lamborghini said that they would need a sample to match the color to, she took the dress off. Viola 30th was created for the Diablo to celebrate Lamborghini’s 30th anniversary, and is still a popular shade today, and Giallo Maggio, introduced on the Aventador 50° Anniversario in 2013, honors the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini, and the month of May when the brand was founded. Lamborghini’s ancestral home of Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, also served as inspiration for Lamborghini colors. These include Giallo Quercus, which is inspired by the golden oak in the city’s coat of arms, as well as the Terra Emilia and Terra di Sant’Agata Bolognese interior colors, which are inspired by the city and the region that Lamborghini calls home. Innovations and the invention of marvelous colors and finishes serve as inspiration for their names, like the Diamond Coating technique that includes real diamond dust in the final coat of paint to contribute a stunning glow, and Crystal Effect, a painstaking paint process that creates a dazzling visual effect. As Lamborghini continues to expand its palette of colors and finishes to cater to the most discerning of clients, its lexicon of colors and the stories behind them will continue to grow even more diverse and captivating than it already is. Lamborghini’s Manifesto Concept Steals the Show at Centro...

This past weekend, Lamborghini Centro Stile celebrated 20 years, and we did a comprehensive story highlighting some of the production models from the Audi-VW era. Lamborghini’s in-house design center has been responsible for everything from the Murciélago LP640 and Aventador to the Revuelto, Huracán Sterrato, and Temarario. We also touched upon several concept cars and key design figures, including Walter De'silva, Filippo Perini, Luc Donckerwolke, and Mitja Borkert, Lamborghini's current design director, all of whom were instrumental in shaping the design direction over the past two decades. Image Source: Mitja Borkert This momentous occasion called for a celebration at the Lamborghini Museum in Sant'Agata Bolognese, and Mitja took to social media to reveal yet another design study. This is the Lamborghini Manifesto. Sitting alongside the recently unveiled hybridized Fenomeno and an original Countach, this wild concept is a roadster finished in a striking shade of yellow, with a midship layout and some pretty exaggerated proportions, massive wheels, and an aggressive carbon fiber diffuser, along with Lamborghini's signature Y-shaped motifs. Not much is known about the Manifesto at this point, but it serves as a look at where the brand is headed next. Watch this space.
