New "Final Year" 2026 Lexus LS Heritage Edition Unveiled

Is Lexus bidding farewell to the car that started it all? Almost forty years ago, Toyota introduced a new luxury marque to the automotive world, bearing the name of Lexus, and it completely shook the luxury car arena to its core. The car that was responsible for doing that was the LS, a full-size luxury sedan that offered impeccable engineering and sumptuous luxury at an undercutting price. An instant hit, the Lexus LS sedan made way for an entire lineup of Lexus models that would not only be popular luxury cars but write chapters of automotive history of their own, like the RX crossover, the LFA supercar, the IS sports sedan, the GX off-road-ready SUV, and many more. Being the car that took the first steps in blazing the trail of Lexus’s legacy, the LS is an incredibly special and important model for the brand, and also a celebrated flagship that has continued to personify automotive luxury excellence over the years. However, for the 2026 model year in the United States market, the Lexus LS is being offered in a single spec: the new 2026 Lexus LS 500 AWD Heritage Edition, which is limited to only 250 units in the US, and is described by Lexus as “a final year tribute to the car that launched the brand.” That sounds like a farewell, and if it is, the Lexus LS is going out with a bang, with the 2026 Lexus LS 500 AWD Heritage Edition paying tribute to the LS’s important role in bringing the vision of Lexus to life. It’s finished with a Ninety Noir exterior, a color that is being introduced to the Lexus palette for the first time for the model, with a Rioja Red interior that is being used in the LS for the first time in the Heritage Edition. In accordance with a special edition of a luxury sedan flagship, standard features include a panoramic glass roof, Laser Special Black premium wood trim, heated rear seats, a power lift-up buckle, and a Mark Levinson sound system with 23 speakers. With plush features, stunning design, and a loving tribute to the car responsible for starting everything for Lexus, the 2026 Lexus LS 500 AWD Heritage Edition, if it is a farewell for the LS, is a proper one. Lexus Sport Concept Debuts at The Quail

Lexus just dropped a surprise at Pebble Beach with its new Sport Concept. Finished in a two-tone gray over black, this two-door prototype appears to be a showcase of the design direction of the Japanese brand’s upcoming sports cars. With a low stance, a fastback profile, and sculpted bodywork optimized with functional aero elements in the bumper, along the front fenders, and behind the door, this prototype appears to be far more edgier and angular when compared to previous concepts and potential LFA successors. Besides the aggressive front-end with Lexus’ L-signature day-time running lights, the backlit Lexus badge, and the Y-Spoke alloy wheels, the rear is perhaps the most dramatic angle, with an aggressive diffuser, a full-width LED lightbar, and triangular mesh forms that are a nod to the V10-powered LFA. Some of the extreme design touches may not survive production, but the overall shape is likely close to what you’ll most likely see on the road. Lexus hasn’t revealed any details about what’s under the hood, but early reports indicate a front-engine, rear-drive layout with a twin-turbo V8, likely paired with a rear transaxle gearbox. Toyota engineers have reportedly benchmarked the Mercedes AMG GT R, so you can expect sharp handling and serious track capability. Could this be the long-awaited LFA successor in disguise? Lexus isn’t saying anything just yet, but your next chance to see it in action might be sooner than you think. View All Lexus LFAs For Sale Source: Lexus

Lexus Reveals New 2025 RC F Final Edition

The celebrated sports car icon from Lexus reaches its sunset. For over a decade, Lexus has sold the RC as its elegant, luxurious, and engaging sports coupe. The model has boasted style and sumptuous appointments, as well as an available brawny V8 powerplant, and now, the 2025 model year will be the final year for the model, as production of the Lexus RC and the Lexus RC F comes to an end. To commemorate over a decade of the Japanese luxury titan’s iconic sports coupe, the 2025 Lexus RC F will be offered as a special Final Edition. The RC model receives minor changes for the 2025 model year, and the 2025 Lexus RC F Final Edition features builds off the existing RC F Carbon Package. BBS wheels, red Brembo brake calipers, a carbon fiber roof, an active rear wing, and more set the model apart as the final iteration of a celebrated sports car icon. Standard for the 2025 Lexus RC F Final Edition is a Mark Levinson premium audio system and a 10.3-inch touchscreen, and a carbon fiber “Final Edition” emblem on the dashboard adds a commemorative touch. The RC F Final Edition is one of the last cars of its kind, powered by a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine with 472 horsepower, and getting from 0-60 in 4.2 seconds towards a top speed of 168 mph, the 2025 Lexus RC F Final Edition marks the end of an era for luxury performance cars. Lexus Announces Updates For The 2025 GX

The already-iconic Lexus GX enters its second model year. Automotive enthusiasts turned their heads when Lexus introduced a completely redesigned GX, which completely transformed a model that remained unchanged for years, unveiling a bold new rugged, angular design and a greater focus on off-roading with the anticipated Overtrail trim. After it was introduced for the 2024 model year, Lexus has announced a few changes to the GX model as it prepares to enter the 2025 model year. Retaining the 349-horsepower twin-turbo V6 and new platform, shared with the new LX, the GX continues to be a luxurious, rugged, off-road-ready SUV. However, in 2025, the off-road ability of the new Lexus GX is further enhanced, with standard one-inch suspension lift for the Overtrail and Overtrail+ grades, increasing the vehicle’s ground clearance for specific off-roading situations. The 2025 Lexus GX Overtrail and Overtrail+ will also be available with exclusive two-tone paintwork configurations, including Atomic Silver/Black Roof, Incognito/Black Roof, Nori Green Pearl/Black Roof, and Earth/Black Roof, which further enhances the adventure-inspired look of the vehicle. Also standard for the 2025 model year are luxury-enhancing features for the Lexus GX, like the Lexus Memory System and a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column. With better off-roading ability as standard, as well as enhanced luxury features, the iconic new Lexus GX gets even better for 2025. View All Lexus GX For Sale Image Source: Lexus

Lexus LFA: Own A Japanese Supercar Masterpiece

When it comes to supercar excellence, the LFA is lightning in a bottle. Decades ago, Lexus sent shockwaves through the luxury automotive world, being an incredibly strong new contender that would go up against long-standing titans like Mercedes-Benz and BMW, and it didn’t only survive, but it thrived. However, that was far from all Lexus would do, and in 2009, it would introduce the LFA, a supercar that to this day, remains one of the greatest moments in recent automotive history. It’s powered by a 4.8-liter V10 engine that was co-developed by Toyota and Yamaha just for the LFA, each signed by its craftsman, and as the automotive industry continues to change and evolve, even the V10 engine itself is a reason that the Lexus LFA stands out as a gem. However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to why the LFA is so special. The exhaust was also developed in collaboration with Yamaha, with the goal of giving the car an incredible exhaust note, one that today still stands as one of the greatest of all time. Stunning design, luxurious craftsmanship, and exclusivity make it a collector-grade masterpiece. If you’re looking for a supercar that captures one of the greatest moments in recent automotive history, the Lexus LFA is the perfect machine to add to any luxury or exotic car collection. However, with only 500 made, it’s not the easiest supercar for sale to find. That’s why duPont REGISTRY, the source for supercars since 1985, is the best place to look for a Lexus LFA for sale.
