Porsche Design's Lightweight Chronograph 1 Pays Tribute To A 1975 Classic

For decades, Porsche has been doing things differently, fitting engines at the rear of its sports cars and even using its expertise and resources to establish its own watch brand. As if engineering and designing a chronograph of its very own wasn’t innovative enough, Ferdinand Porsche pushed the boundaries even further with the debut of Porsche Design’s all-black Chronograph 1 in 1972. It wasn’t until 1975 that the chronograph finally adopted a more traditional stainless-steel look, while still retaining its focus on form and function, like the 911.  Porsche Design is excited to honor that 1975 Chronograph 1 with a new titanium all-numbered edition, tapping into its adventurous and innovative spirit. The Chronograph 1 - 1975 Limited Edition is the perfect reinterpretation of its 70s counterpart, showcasing a design crafted entirely of ultra-lightweight titanium, making history as a first for Porsche Design. Familiarity returns to the matte black bezel and dial, both of which retain their original fonts but have been updated with high-contrast Super-LumiNova white numerals and indices for legibility. The Chronograph 1 comes powered by an in-house Porsche Design WERK 01.400, a COSC-certified chronograph movement with a day-and-date display and a 48-hour power reserve. The inner workings are visible from the sapphire backcase and also feature each watch’s numbered engraving.  Hand-crafted at Porsche Design’s new Timepieces Manufaktur in Grenchen, Switzerland, which celebrated its official opening in March, the all-new Chronograph 1 - 1975 Limited Edition is now available for $8,250. This Rare Karuizawa Japanese Whisky Could Fetch $440,000 At Auction

This Rare Karuizawa Japanese Whisky Could Fetch $440,000 At Auction

The world of collectibles continues to reach new heights, with buyers willing to spend massive amounts on everything from exotic supercars and rare trading cards to highly sought-after spirits. Much of that demand comes down to exclusivity and long-term investment potential, especially when it comes to items with historical significance and ultra-limited production numbers. In the whisky world, few names carry the same weight to collectors as Karuizawa, and one exceptionally rare bottle is now expected to fetch as much as $440,000 at auction. GALLERY-EMBED At the center of it all is the Karuizawa 1960/2013 52-Year-Old Single Cask #5627, a bottle widely recognized as one of the most important Japanese whiskies ever released. Distilled on February 1, 1960, and bottled more than five decades later on January 1, 2013, the whisky matured entirely in a single Sherry Hogshead cask before being bottled at 51.8% ABV. Upon its release, it became the oldest Japanese single malt whisky ever bottled, instantly cementing its place in whisky history. Even more impressive is the fact that only 41 bottles were ever produced, making it one of the rarest in existence. GALLERY-EMBED Each bottle features a handcrafted katabori netsuke carved from the original oak cask head, while the labels are individually hand-painted on traditional Washi paper by Japanese calligrapher Soji Nishimoto. The presentation box is just as impressive, inspired by traditional Japanese puzzle boxes and built using Wenge wood and actual pieces from cask #5627. Every detail reflects the heritage behind the legendary distillery, which closed its doors in 2000 and has since become one of the most collectible names in Japanese whisky. As demand for rare Japanese whisky continues to climb, bottles like the Karuizawa 1960/2013 have evolved into investment-grade pieces. It’s no surprise experts believe this bottle could bring nearly half a million dollars when the hammer finally falls at auction. Source: catawiki

It’s more about getting out there, figuring out your swing, and stringing together a decent round with friends. That’s really what tees up our golf gear guide for the season, which happens to be the kickoff for the colder states up north . Whether you’re just getting into it and wondering what golf clubs you should buy as a beginner, or you’ve been playing long enough to care about tour-level golf equipment, picking out the best driver for distance, a putter that feels natural, or even which lightweight golf carry bag makes sense, gear becomes part of the process. It’s not always about having the most expensive setup either, it’s about finding what works and sticking with it. Our carefully curated list is based on that idea, breaking down some of the golf essentials, better equipment options, and a few upgrades worth considering if you’re looking to improve your game without overthinking it. Red Bull Just Turned Max Verstappen’s F1 Car Into Crocs

With Formula One reaching new levels of popularity around the world, thanks in large part to Netflix’s Drive to Survive, fans are finding more ways than ever to rally behind their favorite teams and drivers. And now that fan gear has mirrored the styles worn in the paddock and garages by crew chiefs and pit crews, the lifestyle collaborations have spread beyond traditional branded hats, jerseys, t-shirts, and accessories. Oracle Red Bull Racing is swapping out its driving shoes for something a little more comfortable and casual as part of its newest collaboration with Crocs, taking the quintessential clogs and reimagining them into a slip-on version of Max Verstappen’s very own Red Bull Racing RB22 race car. Inspired by the turbocharged RB22 that secures pole positions and podium finishes, the Oracle Red Bull Racing Crocband Clogs feature the same sinister blue livery with all of Red Bull's famous logos and branding. And rather than just simply slapping on some graphics and calling it a day, the Crocs and Oracle Red Bull Racing went all out to make each clog a car of itself, equipped with four wheels and tires, active aerodynamics at the toe, a miniature race helmet, an F1 halo, and even a roof intake for cooling on high-speed walks. Deploy the heel straps for an even better fit, and you’ll find added rear wings for even more downforce. Bulleit Whiskey Launches Its Limited-Edition Mesquite Smoked Malt

Bulleit Whiskey Launches Its Limited-Edition Mesquite Smoked Malt

Bourbon comes with expectations, certain grains, certain balance, and certain rules that haven’t changed much in decades. Since 1987, Bulleit Whiskey has built much of its identity and reputation around reviving an old family high-rye bourbon recipe, then occasionally pushing boundaries with bold ideas and flavors. The latest limited release, Bulleit Bourbon Mesquite Smoked Malt Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, pushes that approach even further. The new batch removes rye entirely from the mashbill, replacing it with mesquite wood-smoked malted barley. It’s the first time a Bulleit Bourbon has taken that step, altering the grain recipe while keeping the standard Kentucky Straight Bourbon process intact. Smoked malt is incorporated early in production, during malting, when barley is exposed to mesquite smoke before distillation begins. The taste profile centers around familiar bourbon flavors, like vanilla, caramelized sugar, and oak, but with earthy smoke running through it. Bottled at 93 proof, it sits right where it's meant to be versatile, whether it be neat, over ice, or paired with food that can hold its own against smoke and sweetness. To mark the launch, Bulleit hosted a tasting at the Tampa Yacht & Country Club, where the new bourbon was poured alongside BBQ, cocktails, and good conversation. Guests moved between tasting stations and outdoor setups at their own pace. A team from Traeger was also on scene throughout the evening to talk grills and smokers, while Cigar City Brewing was also on hand, adding a local beer option to pair perfectly with the new Mesquite Wood-Smoked Malt. The night played out like a casual preview of how the whiskey might actually be enjoyed, paired with food, music, and an easygoing crowd instead of a structured tasting. Mother’s Day Gifts for the Mom With Great Taste

Mother’s Day gifts have definitely shifted away from the usual last-minute flowers and candles. These days, it feels more thoughtful when the gift actually matches someone’s personality or daily routine. Some moms are into fashion and accessories, others care more about wellness, skincare, fitness, or simply having a quiet moment to themselves at home. The best gifts usually end up being the ones that feel useful without being overly practical, something that naturally fits into everyday life and gets used long after Mother’s Day is over. A lot of the trends this year lean into comfort, self-care, and simple luxuries that make normal routines feel a little more elevated. Things like wellness tech, beauty tools, cozy home upgrades, and lifestyle accessories continue to be popular because they’re not overly flashy, but they still feel personal. Even smaller gifts can go a long way when they make mornings easier, help someone relax at the end of the day, or just add a little bit of enjoyment to everyday routines. Inside the $400M Bel-Air Mega Mansion Everyone’s Talking About

Inside the $400M Bel-Air Mega Mansion Everyone’s Talking About

Los Angeles has always had the sun, the coastline, and the celebrity appeal, but lately, it’s become a full-on hotspot for homebuyers. Space is harder to come by, privacy is even harder to source, and the selling point for ultra-luxury homes and estates has shifted from convenience to exclusivity. That’s where the agents at The Beverly Hills Estates Inc. come in, sitting at the very top of the real estate market with a portfolio of eight- and nine-figure listings that span from $75 million ranches in Montecito to $135 million modern new-builds overlooking Los Angeles.Located at 11201 Chalon Rd, this Bel-Air estate is currently listed at an incredible $400 million, making it among the most expensive single-family homes in the United States. Designed by architect Peter Marino, the property spans roughly 70,000 square feet on an eight-acre flat promontory lot. From its pristine perch above the city, the skyline views stretch from downtown Los Angeles out to the Pacific Ocean, with the nearby Bel-Air Country Club conveniently located just below the property line. The estate itself is designed like a private compound rather than a traditional home, totaling 39 bedrooms and 59 bathrooms across its jaw-dropping 342,462 square foot lot. The main residence includes multiple family suites along with enough space for staff accommodations, while a separate guest house adds even more bedrooms and guest space. Across the property, the layout is built to handle both large-scale entertaining and day-to-day living, with wellness and fitness amenities that feel closer to a resort than a residence. The biggest selling point is how rare something like this has become in today’s Los Angeles market. Large, uninterrupted plots of land in Bel-Air are increasingly limited, and developments of this scale are nearly impossible to replicate under current city codes and conditions. Between zoning restrictions, rising land values, and construction costs at the highest end of the spectrum, estates like this are more effectively one-offs. In a city where privacy is now one of the most valuable commodities, 11201 Chalon Rd represents the extreme end of what luxury living in Los Angeles has evolved into. The Only Frank Lloyd Wright Homes You Can Buy Now

The Only Frank Lloyd Wright Homes You Can Buy Now

Whether you’re an architecture aficionado or a newcomer home design, chances are you’ve heard of Frank Lloyd Wright. He designed over a thousand homes and buildings over a career spanning nearly seven decades, reimagining what a home could look and feel like. From signature flat-roofed Prairie houses to curving Usonian and hemicycle designs, Wright created homes that fit perfectly in tune with their surroundings. They’re crafted works of art. For anyone who appreciates design, history, or unique living spaces, owning a Wright home is a rare and remarkable opportunity. What sets Wright homes apart is how naturally they flow. Expansive windows fill rooms with light and bring the outdoors inside, open layouts inspire effortless living, and every detail, from built-in furnishings to wood finishes, is carefully considered. Even features like fireplaces and corridors are designed to balance form and function. Currently, a handful of Wright homes are on the market, offering buyers a rare chance to own a piece of architectural history. Located all across the U.S., each property tells a story of innovation and craftsmanship. Whether you’re searching for a full-time home, a weekend getaway, or a collector’s dream, these homes offer an opportunity to experience the genius of Frank Lloyd Wright firsthand. Norman Lykes House Location: Scottsdale, Arizona Asking Price: $8,800,000 The “Circular Sun House,” also known as the Norman Lykes House, was the last home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, and it’s nothing short of legendary. With 3 bedrooms, an office, a den, and a library, the home’s overlapping concentric circles create a flowing floorplan that opens onto stunning views of Palm Canyon and the city below. Curved walls wrapped in golden Philippine mahogany catch the light beautifully, echoing the natural curves of the surrounding desert mountains. This is more than a home—it’s a living Wright masterpiece. Fractional ownership is $1.5 million. Spring House, Clifton & George Lewis House Location: Tallahassee, Florida Asking Price: $2,128,000 Nestled on five wooded acres just outside Tallahassee, Spring House takes its name from the natural spring on the property, and it’s the only private home Frank Lloyd Wright designed in Florida. One of only 11 hemicycle-style houses he ever built, it features the signature curved walls and sweeping glass that defined Wright’s late career, with a rare boat-like shape that makes it truly unique. Constructed with Ocala block and finished with tidewater red cypress inside and out, the home combines mid-century Florida materials with Wright’s unmistakable design flair. Hills House Location: Oak Park, Illinois Price: $2,295,000 In 1900, Nathan Moore bought the neighboring home as a gift for his daughter Mary and her husband, Edward R. Hills, and Frank Lloyd Wright was brought in to remodel it. Wright redesigned the house on its site, added two first-floor verandas, and updated the exterior with stucco and dark wood trim, giving the 1883 building a fresh, signature look. In 1976, the house suffered a major fire during restoration, destroying much of the first floor. Since then, it has been carefully rebuilt, preserving Wright’s design while honoring the home’s history and architectural significance. Weisblat House Location: Galesburg, Michigan Asking Price: $1,444,000 The Weisblat House is one of four Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Usonian homes in The Acres, a Kalamazoo community laid out by Wright for Upjohn Company employees. On a secluded, wooded hilltop, the house is built from Wright’s signature “textile blocks” and sheltered under a low hipped roof. Entering from the carport, you pass the kitchen, or “work space”, and hallway before reaching the living and dining areas, centered around a striking central fireplace. The bedroom wing extends northeast, originally housing four bedrooms and a bath. A 1961 addition by Taliesin architect John Howe added a family room, bathroom, and laundry, plus a full basement. The Weisblat family owned the home until 2017. Eppstein House Location: Galesburg, Michigan Price: $2,100,000 Built under Frank Lloyd Wright’s guidance and lovingly restored, the 1953 Eppstein House in Galesburg’s “The Acres” stays true to its original Usonian design while incorporating modern comforts. On 70 serene acres of rolling hills and mature trees, the home welcomes indoor and outdoor living, with expansive windows framing meadows and wildflowers as Wright planned. Original details and natural materials highlight the craftsmanship, while the layout flows effortlessly from room to room. Rated 5 stars on Airbnb with over 440 stays, the Eppstein House is a ready-made income property for owners.
