The Porsche 917 Immortalized in Concrete by Dos Santos Collective

The Porsche 917 Immortalized in Concrete by Dos Santos Collective

Art comes in all forms, from hyperrealistic prints that capture every meticulous detail to more abstract works that require a bit of thought. Regardless of taste and popularity, it's the process and what draws you in that prove most fascinating. For passionate automotive enthusiasts, cars are like rolling works of art, both vintage and modern; they represent a certain era, style, and nostalgic factor. For Louis Dos Santos Jr. (@dossantoscollective), both worlds intertwine in his San Diego studio, where some of the most iconic automobiles serve as inspiration for his concrete sculptures. Some of his most popular works include timeless silhouettes of the Ferrari F40, Porsche 911 Turbo, BMW E30, and so many others. As part of his latest release, Dos Santos Collective is partnering with Petrolicious to offer a small-scale concrete model of the legendary Porsche 917, available exclusively on Petrolicious. Few race cars sit closer to the heart of Porsche purists than the Porsche 917. Born in an era when endurance racing pushed both drivers and their cars to the limit, it helped cement (no pun intended) Porsche as a force in motorsports while showcasing one of the most unforgettable shapes the sport has ever seen. Even decades later, the 917’s long, flowing bodywork feels less like a race car and more like a rolling sculpture, especially in this case, which is exactly why it inspired Louis to immortalize it as art.As if having your own, hand-poured cement Porsche wasn’t enticing enough, the first 100 buyers will also receive a limited-edition numbered plaque that doubles as the base for the 917 model. The concrete base is designed to evoke a section of the race track where Porsche Motorsport brought the 917 to life and continues to honor its legacy, and it’s inscribed with “xxx/100” and “Chassis 917-022.” Whether you’re a die-hard Porsche fanatic who remembers watching the 917 on track or purely an art buff with an appreciation for design, check out Dos Santos Collective on Petrolicious by clicking the link below.  Petrolicious x Dos Santos Collective

Girard-Perregaux Debuts Its New $590K Minute Repeater

Girard-Perregaux Debuts Its New $590K Minute Repeater

It’s easy to get lost in intricate dial and case designs, but the true craftsmanship of watchmaking lies in the art of the movement, often conceived and engineered from scratch by an in-house team of expert horologists. At Girard-Perregaux, that focus continues to drive the brand as it's proud to introduce its newest watch and third benchmark caliber in only 6 months, the Minute Repeater Flying Bridges. This openworked calibre packs a minute repeater, a tourbillon, and a self-winding micro-rotor into a single movement. Housed within a 46mm Pink Gold case, with a sapphire crystal that offers a front-to-back view, the GP9530 remains the main focus of this monumental release. With 475 components and nearly 440 hours required for assembly and decoration, it’s a quiet reminder of how obsessive mechanical watchmaking can be.Girard-Perregaux approached the minute repeater with acoustics as the starting point. The titanium plate and bridges help vibrations travel more efficiently through the movement, while the mainplate is secured directly to the case to help transmit those vibrations outward. In practical terms, that means the tiny hammers striking the gongs have a clearer stage to perform on. The openworked layout also plays a role. Beyond looking cool, the skeletonized design gives the sound more room to move around inside the case, letting the repeater’s chime ring out with minimal obstruction.Visually, the GP9530 is a modern take on the three-bridge layout made famous by La Esmeralda back in the 1800s. And that’s really the charm of the GP9530. In an era when many watches focus heavily on nostalgia, Girard-Perregaux continues to experiment with how classic complications can be presented. A minute repeater and a tourbillon might be traditional, but here they’re packaged in a way that feels super modern.

Porsche x Bonpoint: 911 Style for the Next Generation

For many passionate car enthusiasts, the fascination with all things automotive begins at a young age, often with toy cars and scale models that eventually evolve into a love for the real, full-size machines. It’s a story I know well—collecting 1:18 scale models of my favorite cars and stuffing my backpack with a duPont REGISTRY magazine, never realizing it would eventually lead to turning a dream into reality. 24-Year-Old PGA Pro's Perfect Three Car Solution

24-Year-Old PGA Pro's Perfect Three Car Solution

You might assume the most impressive car collections belong to the stars of Formula One, but professional golfers have quietly built garages that rival just about anyone in motorsport. It’s something we’ve witnessed before with players like Ian Poulter, whose fleet of Ferraris, including the one-off Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta, once went viral after he casually chipped a golf ball through both the windows. Shifting the spotlight to another golfer, the PGA Tour recently caught up with Akshay Bhatia to take a look at some of the dream cars he’s been fortunate enough to acquire since launching his pro career at the age of 17 in 2019. Now 24 years old, Akshay has three PGA Tour wins since his start, including the Arnold Palmer Invitational this past weekend, which has contributed to the caliber of cars that now take up his garage space. The most practical of the three is a Cadillac Escalade V, which he calls the “dad dog” mobile, perfect for getting around to tournaments and occasional trips to Disney World. With plenty of performance and a loud exhaust thanks to GM’s 682-horsepower 6.2L supercharged V8, a set of custom wheels is all it needs to make it personal for Akshay. Inside the garage is where the “fun stuff” lives: two dream cars that Akshay says he’s incredibly fortunate to own, after putting in the hours and dedication to get to where he is today. A modified G80 BMW M3 Competition offers fun, yet still practical, space as a four-door with more than 500 horsepower from the factory, a choice he thanks Rickie Fowler, who owns one himself. Akshay’s is most definitely pushing much more horsepower as it's been upgraded with downpipes and a full exhaust. Last, but certainly not least, is his “favorite of the favorites”, a bright white 992 Porsche 911 GT3 RS that he just bought and is starting to enjoy. Still somewhat in shock that he owns all of his dream cars, they continue to motivate Akshay on and off the course to grow the collection even further.    View this post on Instagram A post shared by PGA TOUR (@pgatour)

Mark Zuckerberg Joins Miami’s "Billionaire Bunker" with $170M Megamansion

As Miami continues to evolve into the mecca for the rich and famous, real estate values seem to have skyrocketed to levels never before seen, making seven- and eight-figure properties look like entry-level sales. It’s the combination of privacy, luxury living, and exclusive networking that attracts A-listers like Jeff Bezos, Tom Brady, Drake, DJ Khaled, and David Beckham, among others. Well, the 305 is welcoming its next billionaire while also celebrating a record-breaking real estate deal, as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, just recently purchased a new build on “Billionaire Bunker” island for a jaw-dropping $170 million. Closing the deal at the start of this week, Zuckerberg’s monumental purchase stands out as one of the most expensive home sales in the United States, as well as the most expensive residential real estate transaction in Miami-Dade County. The uncompleted waterfront mansion resides on a 1.84-acre lot on Miami’s Indian Creek Island, sitting only three doors down from one of Jeff Bezos’ three homes on the ultra-private island. And while the megamansion is far from move-in ready, Mark and Priscilla have already collaborated with iconic designer and artist Ferris Rafauli to bring their extraordinary vision to life through renderings that showcase its spectacular nine-bedroom, 11.5-bathroom layout. Zuckerberg’s new $170 million Miami home is just the latest addition to an already extensive real estate portfolio. In addition to his California compound in Palo Alto, he owns homes in Lake Tahoe, Washington, D.C., and Hawaii, each revealing a mix of modern design and privacy. This “Billionaire Bunker” in Indian Creek both cements his presence in Florida’s elite enclaves and joins a collection of properties that reads like a global tour of luxury living, each tailored to his lifestyle and long-term plans. U.S. Porsche Experience Centers Celebrate One Million Visitors

Since the registration of the very first 356 back in 1948, Porsche has built a cult following of passionate owners and enthusiasts, all of whom are infatuated with the thrill and love of experiencing what can only be described as the ultimate driver's car brand. From the track-derived performance of the iconic 911 to the off-road capabilities and comforts of the Cayenne, its well-rounded model line continues to inspire and motivate generations of dreamers who yearn for a Porsche of their own. It’s that same sense of loyalty and obsession that gave rise to Porsche’s passion projects—the two U.S. Porsche Experience Centers in Atlanta and Los Angeles. Today, more than 77 years after Ferdinand Porsche rolled out “No.1” Roadster, Porsche is proud to celebrate yet another monumental milestone, welcoming 1,000,000 visitors to its U.S. Porsche Experience Centers. Rather than constructing another museum-style destination, with historic and significant examples tucked away behind glass and stanchions, Porsche decided to dream up the ultimate playground for purists to discover and learn, but more importantly, to drive. That significant seven-figure number is proudly made up of driving enthusiasts and families, as well as corporate groups who all share a love for the brand, automotive history, and the cars that define its DNA. Timo Resch, President and CEO of PCNA, expressed his excitement by saying, “The Porsche Experience Centers bring our brand to life in a way that can best be felt in person – ideally behind the wheel – and this milestone shows just how powerfully those experiences connect with people.”Located at One Porsche Drive, home to Porsche Cars North America, PEC Atlanta opened in 2015 as the brand’s first U.S. Experience Center, with PEC Los Angeles following a year later in 2016. Between them, the two locations feature three dedicated driver development tracks and extensive programs built to sharpen skills at any level, whether it’s your first time behind the wheel or your fiftieth. Continuing the celebration in perfect fashion, Atlanta recently welcomed Sally Carrera and Lightning McQueen to mark the 20th anniversary of Cars, while Los Angeles rolled out its new Design Your Drive program. Take it from someone who makes a point to stop by whenever passing through Atlanta: the Porsche Experience Center isn’t just worth a visit; it’s essential for anyone who genuinely loves all things automotive. H. Moser & Alpine Kick Off the 2026 F1 Season With New Team Watches

H. Moser & Alpine Kick Off the 2026 F1 Season With New Team Watches

Anticipation for the 2026 F1 Season is ramping up, and it seems that all hands are on deck for what looks to be one of the most followed yet, with new team and driver introductions to the grid. At BWT Alpine F1, in addition to new racing liveries and strategies, the team has worked closely with H. Moser to debut the Streamliner Alpine Drivers and Mechanics Pink Edition watches for the paddock. The focus has shifted from mere aesthetics to function, delivering what drivers and mechanics actually need when time, clarity, and focus matter most. The Pink Edition set reflects a reset for the new season, inspiring its colorway directly from Alpine’s updated livery while keeping its purpose intact. At its core is a flyback chronograph powered by the skeletonized HMC 700 calibre, developed with Agenhor, a movement chosen for legibility and precision. The open dial reveals the chronograph’s inner workings, mirroring the stripped-back look of race hardware. Pink accents on the hands and indices add contrast without overwhelming the design. It’s still recognizably a Streamliner with a smooth case, integrated strap, and minimal branding. The Mechanics Pink Edition, on the other hand, is more about practicality. Designed for life in the paddock and pit lane, it combines a digital core with an analogue display, prioritizing communication, timing, and coordination. The grey fumé dial keeps things simple, while pink indices and subtle branding tie it back to Alpine’s identity. Together, the two watches are offered as a limited set of 50, supporting the idea that performance in Formula 1 is never the result of a single role. Drivers, engineers, and mechanics all operate in unison, each depending on time in their own way.

F1 Star Charles Leclerc Drives $40 Million Ferrari on Wedding Day

As the 2026 Formula One season gears up, teams and drivers are pushing every limit—fine-tuning cars, strategies, and every detail to chase victory on the world’s fastest circuits. And while the main objective is to secure the number one spot and celebrate with champagne showers, Scuderia Ferrari F1 driver Charles Leclerc is already doing some pre-season celebrating after announcing his marriage to Alexandra Saint Mleux. Set in the picturesque city of Monaco, where the two call home, Charles and Alexandra Leclerc revealed their most special day with the world through Instagram posts captioned, “28/02/2026 - Civil Wedding 🤍” and “A day we’ll forever remember. 🤍 Part one is done and part 2 will be next year with all of our close ones.” In perfect fashion, it’s the send-off that took the automotive world by storm, as the happy newlyweds drove off along the French Riviera in one of the rarest and most expensive Ferraris ever. The car in question was a 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, an icon not just for its timeless design and astronomical value but also for its racing pedigree. With its sleek, curvaceous body and distinctive pontoon fenders, the 250 Testa Rossa is a symbol of Ferrari’s dominance in endurance racing during the late 1950s, securing multiple victories at Le Mans and Sebring. Beyond its track record, the 250 Testa Rossa remains one of the most collectible Ferraris in existence, with examples fetching between $12.4 million (2009) and $16.39 million (2011) at auction and nearly $40 million in a private sale (2014). For Leclerc, piloting this legendary car on such a personal milestone connected motorsport heritage with life’s celebrations, turning a ceremonial drive through Monaco into a rolling tribute to Ferrari’s history and the thrill that has defined the Maranello marque for decades.
