The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) returns this week, bringing five days of superyachts, new boat debuts, and waterfront festivities to South Florida from October 28th through November 1st. Now in its 67th year, the world's largest in-water boat show will span six locations across Fort Lauderdale, giving visitors tons to explore beyond the latest yachts and marine releases. This year's lineup includes new attractions, VIP experiences, family-friendly activities, and educational programs, making it easy to spend a full day moving between the docks, waterfront lounges, and exhibitor spaces. One of those new additions is a floating pickleball court at Las Olas Marina, where yacht crew members will compete in a tournament sponsored by ONE Sotheby's International Realty. Visitors looking to break from the crowds can also check out the returning Windward VIP Experience. The Windward VIP Lounge, presented by Pier Sixty-Six, will be located at Superyacht Village, while the new Windward VIP Cabana Club moves to Bahia Mar Marina for a more private, cabana-style setting. Both will feature food from chefs Ryan O'Sullivan of Hell's Kitchen and Dave White of Below Deck and Chopped. The Goslings Island Bar also returns to Bahia Mar, while The Vessel Miami will offer another place to relax and take in the show from the water.Getting around Fort Lauderdale will look a little different this year. A new helicopter shuttle service will connect Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport with Pier Sixty-Six. Visitors can also book 10-minute private helicopter tours for $600 per flight, accommodating up to five passengers. Families heading to the Broward County Convention Center will find hands-on marine exhibits through The Blue Wild, along with the FLIBS Kids Corner and Don Dingman's Hook the Future fishing clinics on Saturday and Sunday.FLIBS 2026 will feature more than 50 boat debuts, with the FOX Sports Best of Show competition returning to recognize serious superyachts under and over 60 feet. Complimentary seminars will cover boating safety, navigation, cruising, and other marine topics, while Superyacht Village hosts discussions on yacht sales, charter markets, and ocean conservation. The show will also offer an early look at Refit X, a new yacht repair and refit industry event planned for 2027. Tickets must be purchased online at FLIBS.com, with no on-site box office. Visitors can use the Broward County Convention Center as a transportation hub, with shuttles, golf carts, Brightline, and Water Taxi services helping connect the various show locations.
