How To Buy A Yacht With Bitcoin

Presented by Denison Yacht Sales - All anyone talks about these days is Bitcoin. Or so, it seems. Bitcoin is hot right now, and we recognize the need for clients to purchase yachts using cryptocurrencies. Denison’s response? We made our worldwide yacht database searchable using Bitcoin value. Yup, we’re staying ahead of the curve. Along with Tesla’s recent adoption. Search With Bitcoin Pricing Bitcoin is a form of digital, unregulated currency traded anonymously, without banks or middlemen. Payments are made through a digital wallet on a computer or smartphone. Cryptocurrency can be purchased from Bitcoin exchanges or obtained from other Bitcoin users. You can spend bitcoin like any other money via a mouse click or a cellphone app. Bitcoins flow from your digital wallet into the account of a retailer, just as dollars might flow digitally from your bank account into a store without you ever holding the printed $100 bill in your hand. Denison has been accepting Bitcoin since 2014 and was the first company in the yachting industry to do so. Since then, we sold five yachts using cryptocurrency. And in June 2018, Denison’s first charter was booked using Bitcoin as payment. The ability to safely accept various currencies, including a digital currency like Bitcoin, and distribute these funds in U.S. dollars is a valuable service to Denison’s clients. Bitcoin passed $20,000 for the first time in December, and it has tripled in value in three months. So while Tesla and BNY Mellon and Mastercard are only recently jumping on the cryptocurrency bandwagon, we’re going a step further by making our yacht database searchable and payable using Bitcoin. The Bitcoin price changes every hour according to its real-time value. Contact a Denison yacht broker to buy your next yacht using cryptocurrency. Search With Bitcoin Pricing

The Benefits Of Buying A New Boat Versus A Used Boat

Presented by Denison Yachting: New things make us feel good. At least, that’s what psychology tells us. Lifehacker explains that we are attracted to shiny, new things — whether it’s a new gadget, new haircut, or new yacht. There’s a novelty to owning new items that we, as humans, can’t resist. And that novelty motivates us. Use that motivation to buy a new boat. There’re more benefits to owning new versus used, including warranty, support, and value. Here are 7 reasons to buy a new boat, although we don’t think you’ll need much convincing. Visit DenisonYachtSales.com   1. New Technology, Design, And Mechanics Just as there’s a new car smell, there’s a new boat smell. Purchasing a new boat means you’ll get new beds, toilets, cushions, electronics, sails, engines, and generators. You have the chance to own the latest in design, style, and technology. (And that’s something you’re 100% allowed to brag about.) Plus, new mechanical equipment is more reliable, therefore you can spend more time boating and less time fixing.   2. Professional Orientation And Support Owning a new boat is a huge step up, and it’s okay to be nervous about it. When you purchase a new boat with Denison, you’ll receive comprehensive technical and operational training to get comfortable with your new yacht. We’ll explain how to keep your boat running smoothly from stern to stem. We also include on-the-water instruction with an expert captain to build your confidence and accelerate enjoyment on the water. After your new boat is delivered, Denison’s factory-trained technical team is available to provide assistance when you need it. That’s something you won’t get with a used boat.   3. Warranty Protection While it may seem that you’re reducing upfront cost by buying a used boat, keep in mind that with older boats, maintenance and repair costs can steadily increase. And there wouldn’t be a warranty to back you up. Denison Yachting’s new boat brands come with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty to ensure peace of mind and reduced maintenance expenses. This includes Beneteau, Bertram, Dufour Yachts, Excess Catamarans, Horizon, Van der Valk.   4. Work With A Blank Canvas A new boat is a blank canvas, and as the first owner, you can add your personal touches to the yacht. New boats come well equipped with an extensive list of factory options, but customizing a new yacht to suit your preference is part of the fun. For instance, after cruising around in a new sailboat for a few months, one of our clients contacted Denison’s Service division to find a way to make sailing a more comfortable experience for him and his family. So we installed the first DC powered AC unit on his new Oceanis 30.1, just for him. Choose among custom interior wood choices, decor, entertainment, dishware, and storage options to make the new boat your own. You have the freedom to optimize your new boat to fit your needs and preferences.   5. Easy To Purchase Denison sold an Excess 12 to first-time boat owners in San Diego, California. We helped them navigate the process of buying a new boat and set them up with a five-day ASA catamaran course with West Coast Multihulls. While Denison makes buying a boat accessible for everyone, the overall process of buying a new yacht is easier than buying a used yacht. There are no surveys, haulouts, or engine inspections to complicate the process. Buying a new boat brand with warranty protection and local service means you can confidently pay and sail away. That includes Beneteau, Bertram, Dufour Yachts, Excess Catamarans, Horizon, Van der Valk.   6. Trade In And Trade Up New boats, such as a Swift Trawler 41 or Dufour 530, have improved features that make boating more enjoyable. These improvements are made after listening to what boat owners have to say about previous models. If you’re not happy with your current boat’s design or features, Denison has a no-hassle trade-in program to help you purchase a brand new boat. We’ll help you receive the highest value for your current yacht towards the price of the new boat. It’s not as complicated as you may think — we’ll handle the nitty-gritty details so you can plan your next cruise around the Florida Keys.   7. Welcome To The Family When you purchase a new boat through Denison, you become part of our family. As one of the largest new boat dealerships in the United States, we buy in volume and pass the savings on to you. We’re excited to help your family enjoy treasured memories on the water. Welcome to the family.   Denison is the exclusive new boat dealer for Beneteau, Bertram, Dufour Yachts, Excess Catamarans, Horizon, Van der Valk in California and Florida. We sell new models of powerboats, sailboats, catamarans, sportfish yachts, and motor yachts. Contact Denison Yachting to start the easy process of buying a new or used boat.

Our Perfect Day on the Water in the Upper Keys

Presented by Regulator Marine - While Regulator has a 30-year reputation as a hardcore offshore fishing platform, every boat in their lineup provides a good bit of luxury and comfort without giving up serious fishability, which makes it a perfect vessel for exploring the Florida Keys. Creature comforts like forward sun shades and electric aft SureShade® are ideal options for sandbar lounging. Plenty of seating, built-in coolers and optional sunbed and pedestal tables put a full day of cruising and fun well within reach. Ready to fish? Massive cockpits, oversized tackle centers and optional Taco Grand Slam outriggers make the most of one of the most reliable and best-riding center consoles on the water today. And beyond these standout features, you are getting the power and performance of Yamaha engines, best-in-class Garmin® electronics and so much more. We caught up with the Regulator team and some local friends to explore a few of their favorite Florida Keys spots. The “Family” Sandbar “That’s what we call it anyway!” says local Regulator dealer Ryan Jacobson of YachtWorks. “I love to bring my little ones there. You see crabs and small fish gliding over the shallows, the kids can toddle around at low tide…it’s a great place to just sit and take it in.” Located off of Snake Creek, the locals-first sandbar is safe, quiet and very sandy by Keys standards. Alligator Reef No secret here – Alligator Reef is among the best known fishing areas in the Keys. “Kite fishing the edges of the reef is fun because you have the opportunity to catch a lot of different species. Your primary target is sailfish but mutton snapper are often caught off of a three-way rig dropped to the bottom. It’s a style of fishing that keeps the entire cockpit active,” says local fishing and adventure guide Nate Weinbaum of KeysXplorer. “If you head another 15-20 miles off the reef, you can deep drop for queen snapper and other deep water species using electric reels – perfect day.” Snooks Bayside “Our favorite spot in the Keys for drinks and delicious local fish,” says local Regulator dealer Mike DeFrancesco of YachtWorks. “Plenty of space to dock, and every seat in the house gives you beautiful water views surrounding by nature, tiki torches and island vibes.” Everything in between “I could go on for days about my favorite spots!” said DeFrancesco. “Exploring the Keys by water is the best way to take in the natural beauty and relaxed fun that put it on the map. But don’t take our word for it. Join us for a sea trial!” Regulator Marine manufactures premiere center console fishing boats from 23-41 feet. Best Yacht Charter Destinations 2021

Presented by Denison Yacht Sales - Goodbye 2020, hello 2021. Countries are welcoming back tourists as travel restrictions slowly ease up. One of the safest ways to travel is by luxury yacht charter. A highly trained crew will maintain rigorous health and safety standards on board creating a safe and socially distanced vacation. On top of that, thanks to our partnership with Tropic Ocean Airways, Denison charter guests and superyacht clients can access first-class options for arriving to and from their yacht or destination. This benefit lets you bypass crowds and long lines in airports. When you’re ready to travel again, consider one of these top 10 yacht charter destinations for 2021.  Chartering a yacht in the Florida Keys means cruising along the Atlantic coast to Key Largo, Islamorada, and Key West. You’ll have the opportunity to stop in the best spots for snorkeling, fishing, and diving in the continental United States. Key Largo is known for having some of the best scuba diving in Florida, so ask your captain about booking a dive excursion during your charter. Once you arrive in Key West, take advantage of snorkeling through colorful coral reefs, watching incredible sunsets, and learning about Florida’s history. The laidback lifestyle of the Florida Keys makes it one of the best charter destinations in 2021. Best Florida Keys yacht charter: IL CAPO | 110′ Broward Marine Good news, The Bahamas are open to US citizens. Fill your days with snorkeling, laying on quiet beaches, and enjoying cocktails on the sundeck of a luxury superyacht. Your charter itinerary may include visits to Norman’s Cay to snorkel around an airplane wreck, Compass Cay to swim with nurse sharks, and Big Majors Cay to feed the friendly wild pigs.  If you want to extend your stay, Tropic Ocean Airways will deliver supplies, fly-in guests, or assist with crew rotations to and from your vessel to make your yacht charter more comfortable. Our Virgin Islands charter itinerary packs in amazing beaches, snorkeling spots, uninhabited cays, hiking trails, shops, and restaurants to visit by yacht. Fly into Cabo San Lucas and head straight for a superyacht charter to enjoy a luxurious and exclusive Mexico experience. You’ll have the opportunity to swim with exotic fish, eat fresh food, and sink your feet into white sand beaches. The area is known for its diverse landscape of mountains and forests with abundant wildlife and small towns. On a yacht charter around Alaska, you’ll be able to experience whale watching, hike through national parks, and relax in hot springs. There’s no better way to see Alaska than by luxury yacht charter. It’s an incredibly scenic, isolated, and memorable vacation destination. Best Alaskan yacht charter: KAYANA | 121′ Vosper Thornycroft 2007 A travel bubble is set among Caribbean countries (CARICOM) to include Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Saint Lucia and the Grenadines. That means visitors traveling to one of those countries are not required to take COVID-19 tests or undergo quarantine to travel to countries within the Bubble. This makes it easy to island hop. The Leeward Islands are located between Puerto Rico and Dominica on the northeastern rim of the Caribbean Sea. Among the islands are a range of destinations including Antigua and Barbuda, St. Barths, and St. Kitts and Nevis. Each island destination is different, yet their close proximity and calm waters create perfect cruising grounds. Rugged Yet Luxurious Center Consoles Mean You Can Have It...

Presented by Regulator Marine - Once known as rugged machines built for serious sportfishing, center consoles have evolved into powerhouses equipped with yacht-like technology and every creature comfort you seek, making them one of the fastest-growing boat segments for many years running. We caught up with one of the best in the business, Regulator Marine, to talk about what to look for when shopping for your next ride. As one of the premiere center console sportfisher boat builders in America since 1988, Regulator is known as one of the first to say that you don’t need to sacrifice comfort when you’re headed offshore – in fact, you should demand it. “We can be serious fishermen and still have air conditioning at the helm,” says Regulator VP of Sales and Marketing Keith Ammons with a laugh. “But seriously, when you are shopping for a center console, it’s all about the build, the quality and the ride. Look for what you want above deck, but spend some time digging below the surface to be sure you have the best.” Here are Ammons’ top tips. TAKE A SEA TRIAL But don’t go out on a gorgeous, calm day. Go for a ride on a day when sea conditions are a little rough – in fact, go out in every condition you think you’ll encounter on your waterway. And make sure you test all of your options in the same conditions! GET TO KNOW THE MANUFACTURER Look at the fit & finish. Do all doors and compartments close perfectly, with ease? Are there any rough edges or is everything smooth to the touch? The quality of build will make all the difference. Do your research, visit the factory, and talk to the people who engineer, design, and build your boat. You need to know that each detail was designed to last. THE POWER PRINCIPLE Center consoles today have LOTS of power, but you don’t just want to go for max horsepower. You want to pay attention to how that power affects performance, stability and ride. You will also want to consider fuel capacity. Are the engines fuel-efficient for the boat size and range expected? Above all, consider how and where you will use your boat – for sport and for fun. Is there enough deck space? A head? Entertainment electronics? How much seating is on board, and does the boat have a table? These are all factors that may be more or less relevant, depending on how you plan to use your boat. Happy shopping and see you offshore! Visit RegulatorMarine.com

Sea Force 510 CC: The $2.25 Million Quintessential Center...

Presented by Denison Yacht Sales - While there may be center consoles out on the market, none compare to the comfort and speed that the Sea Force 510 Center Console offers. With an incredibly spacious layout that is filled with amenities for both leisure and fishing, the Sea Force 510 CC provides everyone on board with the best center console boating experience out on the water today. With an overall length of 51-feet and a weight of over 40,000 lbs, a lot of power is required to push the 510 CC through the water. For that, this vessel boat relies on a quint-Mercury 450 setup that's good for a max speed of 60 mph and a cruise speed of 30/38 mph. That kind of speed will be needed for those early morning runs out to those deep water fishing spots. Visit DenisonYachtSales.com Speaking of fishing, the 510 CC is packed with fishing features that will make every angler aboard more than happy. From the bountiful amount of rod holders to the four live wells in the aft section, this boat has it all. Other features for fishing include two in-deck fish boxes, Seakeeper 6 stabilizer, bait prepping counter, lockable tackle storage, ice chipper, freezers, rod rack, outrigger controls, and more. Moving from the aft towards the bow will bring you to the helm area. This fully-enclosed helm can be air conditioned or completely opened up for when the weather is just too pleasant to ignore. At the helm station, the captain and one more can sit in the oversized captain's chairs that include shock absorbers. For the captain is a suite of technology that includes a three-Simrad display setup, with one of them being quite massive. Up above is the tower that has a Simrad display and all necessary controls. At the bow is a perfect area for both relaxing and fishing. The bow has a large sunpad and a dinette setup that can turn into either a second sunpad or a walkthrough space for walking and fishing. One thing one will notice is that from aft to bow, the entire deck is fitted with SeaDek. If you've ever been out on the water for an entire day, you know that SeaDek will drastically reduce fatigue from standing all day. Down below deck is a spacious cabin that can sleep up to six. The galley-area includes a sink, refrigerate, freezer, TV, two-burner cooktop and storage. A full head is also included with a standup shower for those who need to rinse off after a long day out on the water. There is also a queen bed aft of the head. Moving to the bow is the owner's suite that has a queen bed, closet, TV and rod storage. Additionally, there is a sofa by the galley that can be converted into a bunk-bed. As you can plainly see, the Sea Force 510 is the quintessential center console that will appease every angler out there.
