Maserati Unveils New Grecale Cristallo Special Edition

Monte Cristallo is one of the most iconic peaks in Italy’s Dolomites mountain range. Home to stunning natural beauty, the unique vistas the peak offers served as the inspiration for the new Maserati Grecale Cristallo, a special edition of Maserati’s iconic luxury SUV, and its special configuration is an homage to the elegance, balance, and majesty of the mountain. A new, exclusive, Fuoriserie exterior color called Azzurro Aureo is the color of the new Maserati Grecale Cristallo, transforming what would just be a gorgeous shade of blue into a dynamic, shifting color that evokes the snow and wintry alpine beauty of Monte Cristallo with golden mica. Inside, the premium leather upholstery in the new Maserati Grecale Cristallo is done in the Ghiaccio color, and a unique set of Maserati accessories further enhances the special edition. These accessories include self-leveling logo center caps in the 21-inch diamond-cut aluminium CRIO design wheels, branded valve caps, custom courtesy lighting, and branded front floor mats. In addition, the Cristallo special edition is available to be ordered for the Modena, Trofeo, and Folgore variants of the Grecale, allowing a wide range of driving experiences along with the beautiful and luxurious special edition of the model. Maserati’s historic manufacturing site on Viale Ciro Menotti in Modena, Italy, is where the vehicle was unveiled, where stage 32 of the Olympic Torch Relay through Italy was held. A legendary venue that served as the cradle for much of Maserati’s cherished legacy and heritage, the first ten Grecale Cristallo vehicles were on display at the headquarters, inaugurating a new chapter of the Grecale with a captivating special edition. Maserati Marks a Championship Year While Laying Groundwor...

Maserati Corse closed its 2025 campaign with results that underline how quickly the brand has reestablished itself as a serious force in modern GT racing. After returning to closed wheel competition only in 2023, the House of the Trident added another title to its record books. Driving the Maserati GT2 for LP Racing, Philippe Prette secured the Am Class championship in the GT2 European Series powered by Pirelli, repeating his 2024 success. He sealed the title by winning 10 of the 12 races on the calendar. On November 22, Prette collected the trophy at the SRO Motorsports Group Awards in Venice. We reported on this program earlier in the year. In February, a first drive of the Maserati GT2 Stradale showed how closely the road-legal derivative follows the race car’s DNA, engineered with clear track intent but calibrated for limited road use.  " width="680"> That progress feeds directly into Maserati’s next phase. In 2026, the Italian marque will again line up in the GT2 European Series, with the season opening at Monza on May 30 and 31. More significantly, Maserati is joining the SRO GT Academy project announced during the most recent 24 Hours of Spa. The initiative introduces a new Silver class, awarding the Academy title to its winner. From 2027, a Maserati or another manufacturer will commit to a full season in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, competing in either Silver or Pro Am. The Maserati GT2 is now eligible for more than 20 series, covering over 170 races across more than 100 race weekends each year. That expansion accelerated in 2025 with the launch of the Endurance Pack, broadening where and how the car can be campaigned across sprint and endurance formats. The United States becomes a larger part of that strategy in 2026. Back in October, Maserati brought the GT2 to the U.S. for the first time at GT America in Indianapolis, pairing its competitive debut with a broader paddock presence that included the GT2 Stradale and the track-only MCXtrema. For the first time, the International GT series will welcome both the Maserati GT2 and the MCXtrema in the GTX category. The season opens at Sebring from February 26 to March 1, followed by Road Atlanta, Lime Rock, Mid-Ohio, Road America, Watkins Glen, VIR, Laguna Seca, Barber, and Circuit of the Americas, closing November 5 to 8. All of this unfolds as Maserati approaches a symbolic milestone. In 2026, the brand marks 100 years since its racing debut, when the Tipo 26 won its class at the Targa Florio. Maserati is a brand that is clearly on a roll, reinforcing its position with results, reach, and a steadily expanding global GT racing presence. View All Maseratis For Sale Image Source: Maserati

Maserati Celebrates 100 Years Of The Trident At Brussels ...

Maserati brings a centenary celebration to Brussels. 2026 will be a special year for Maserati, as the historic Italian luxury car manufacturer celebrates the 100th anniversary of not only its iconic Trident emblem, but also the 100th anniversary of its presence in motorsport, with both of those things beginning in 1926. At the upcoming Brussels Motor Show, taking place in January, Maserati is bringing its 100th anniversary celebrations to the event, debuting special cars and showcasing its incredible lineup at the show. The new chapter of Maserati supercars, succeeding the Maserati MC20 that took the torch from the legendary MC12, the MCPURA Cielo will be on display in Brussels, showcasing its evolution of the MC20’s performance, including the Nettuno twin-turbo V6 engine, as well as its Fuoriserie bespoke design details, like its stunning Ai Acqua Rainbow color. Maserati’s GranCabrio Folgore, a unique all-electric luxury performance grand touring convertible, will also be at the event, combining seating for four with an open-top, all-electric power, and a top speed of 180 mph. Maserati’s latest special edition of its iconic Grecale SUV, the Grecale Lumina Blu, will be showcased at the Brussels Motor Show, as well. It features an exclusive Night Interaction exterior, 21-inch wheels, yellow calipers, and a special yellow Trident adorning the C-pillar, along with an interior in Chocolate leather, burl wood details, and a panoramic roof. Maserati Celebrates Its 111th Anniversary

Maserati celebrates its 111th birthday ahead of another significant milestone. Recently, Maserati has had lots of reasons to celebrate. The “Maserati Meccanica Lirica” recently honored the return of production of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio to Maserati’s historic Viale Ciro Menotti plant in Modena, and next year, the legendary Trident that serves as Maserati’s logo will celebrate its centenary. Coinciding with its debut in motorsport, the Trident is one of the most integral and recognizable parts of Maserati’s iconic brand, and its 100-year anniversary is the subject of anticipation from the manufacturer. However, there’s more reason for celebration, as the 111th anniversary of Maserati itself has come along, as Maserati is the longest-standing manufacturer in Italy’s legendary Motor Valley since it was founded by brothers Ettore, Ernesto, and Alfieri Maserati in 1914. Their other brother, Mario, eventually designed the Trident, which was inspired by Bologna’s Fountain of Neptune, and their last brother, Bindo, joined the Oficine Maserati in 1932. The first car to wear the iconic Maserati Trident was the Tipo 26, which made its debut at the 1926 Targa Florio race, and took first place in the up to 1.5-liter class, and Alfieri Maserati himself was behind the wheel. Maserati’s motorsport legacy would then go on to include wins at the Indianapolis 500, the Targa Florio, Formula 1, victories with the MC12 and the new GT2 in the modern era. As Maserati celebrates a century of motorsport legacy and the Trident, as well as the 111th anniversary of the manufacturer in its entirety, the next year is going to be one of the most exciting ones for a legendary Italian luxury manufacturer, whose celebrated pedigree is only growing greater. Imbuing its luxury performance grand tourers with Made-in-Italy craftsmanship excellence and the storied legacy of Maserati’s Viale Ciro Menotti plant, the models’ production returning to Modena is an important milestone, and certainly a reason to celebrate for Maserati. As such, Maserati brought a series of Maserati Meccanica Lirica celebrations to the city of Modena, bringing not only the brand and its employees to the celebration, but also the entire city out to welcome the production of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio home. A dinner in the foyer of the theater concluded the inaugural event, with food from the Michelin-starred Massimo Bottura. Over the weekend, the Trident Experience, a two-day event, showcased Maserati excellence to over 100 European Maserati customers and Maserati Club Italia members. The city’s Piazza Roma played host to 50 Maseratis, the oldest of which was a 1959 Maserati GT Spyder 3500, with a special performance from Roberto Bolle at the plant later in the evening. A parade of 60 historic and modern Maseratis took place the next day, traversing across the city of Modena to the Panini Museum. The parade included ‘90s Ghiblis, a Sebring, an Indy, the MC20, and more. The parade reached its final destination: the Modena Autodromo. Maserati Unveils new "Meccanica Lirica" One-Offs

Maserati celebrates the reinforcement of its Italian heritage with two one-offs. Maserati is one of the most historic Italian luxury car manufacturers, with well over a century of heritage behind it, including motorsport heroes and some of the most coveted and celebrated cars of all time. The GranTurismo and GranCabrio represent the latest evolution of Maserati’s decades-long legacy of grand touring masterpieces, and Maserati has officially returned the production of the grand touring pair to the brand’s Modena plant, highlighting its commitment to its rich heritage and Made-in-Italy excellence. The milestone deserves celebration, and Maserati is doing exactly that with a Maserati Meccanica Lirica series of events in collaboration with Sonus faber as a main partner. The events bring together Maserati’s employees, customers, and the entire city of Modena together to celebrate the homecoming of two of Maserati’s most important models. However, a major highlight of the celebration is the debut of two special one-off Maseratis and a Fuoriserie customization pack. Those two one-off Maseratis are the new Maserati GranTurismo Meccanica Lirica One-Off and the new Maserati GranCabrio Meccanica Lirica One-Off, both based on the Trofeo versions of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio. Inspired by Modena’s famed opera house, Rosso Velluto and Oro Lirico are their exterior colors. Special 21-inch wheels, a gold Trident, and even a custom exhaust set the one-offs apart from their standard counterparts. The interiors combine leather, Alcantara, and real wood, with commemorative badging highlighting the special edition, as well. Inspired by the one-off models, Maserati has also debuted the Meccanica Lirica Pack from Fuoriserie, with many of the features and colors seen on the one-offs available upon request, including for the all-electric Folgore variants of the cars, save the exhaust, of course. With a stunning configuration, the two new one-offs from Maserati celebrate the production of two of Maserati’s most timeless masterpieces returning to Modena in style. Maserati Updates Grecale Folgore EV Tech For 2026

Maserati updates its electric SUV for a new year. The anticipated introduction of the Maserati Grecale a few years ago marked the opening of a new chapter for the historic Italian luxury manufacturer. However, the model’s initial launch as the brand’s second SUV preceded an even bigger change for Maserati: the Maserati Grecale Folgore, which eventually emerged as one of the first all-electric models to wear the legendary Trident. Now, the Grecale Folgore has been thoroughly updated for the 2026 model year, and those updates have made the all-electric luxury performance SUV better than it’s ever been. Greater efficiency and improved autonomy are the biggest highlights of the Grecale Folgore’s improvement for 2026, and the entire Grecale lineup alongside it has been updated with added colors and finishes from the Fuoriserie program, both for the interior and the exterior. Enhancing the efficiency of the 2026 Maserati Grecale Folgore, a new AWD-Disconnect System has been added to the BEV SUV. With it, power only goes to the rear wheels when the functionality of all-wheel drive isn’t required, reducing the energy consumption of the Grecale Folgore, and increasing its range to roughly 360 miles. Transitioning between rear and all-wheel drive with the system takes only 500 milliseconds, using a seamless process that optimizes energy savings. In addition to that system, the 2026 Maserati Grecale Folgore also features an improved version of its EV Routing, a feature of the navigation system that takes battery life into account and routes with charging stations. Dynamic Range Mapping shows the driver the maximum distance available on the map, adapting based on driving habits for the most informed trip planning for drivers yet. With its technology and luxury thoroughly improved for a new model year, the new 2026 Maserati Grecale Folgore is the greatest expression of the luxury Italian electric SUV yet. Maserati MCPURA Joins Italy’s High-Speed Medical Fleet

Maserati has just handed the Italian Carabinieri a one-off MCPURA, purpose-built for emergency medical transport. For the first time in history, a Maserati will serve Italy’s military police force, joining a fleet that already includes high-performance Alfa Romeos.  Developed by Maserati Centro Stile in Modena and finished in the Carabinieri livery, this car packs a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 Nettuno engine that delivers 630-horsepower. It’s the same powerplant used in the MC20 supercar and one that we recently had the chance to savor in the McPura Cielo. Built on a carbon-fiber monocoque, it keeps the weight low at around ~3,300 pounds, while maintaining rigidity, ideal for high-stress maneuvers needed in emergencies.  Further, for missions involving the transport of organs and blood, this vehicle is also equipped with specialized compartments, climate control for biological materials, and emergency communication systems. When time is critical, the MCPURA’s blend of race-grade performance and sharp handling will ensure that those deliveries make it to their destination on time in a safe manner. Sitting alongside the custom Maserati supercar was the latest Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, also equipped with the aforementioned specialized equipment for blood and organ transport. It packs a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 that delivers 520 horsepower. The ceremony in Rome brought together top leadership from both Stellantis and the Carabinieri.  We are proud to provide to the Carabinieri two cars that represent the best of Italian technology and design,” - Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa. While Alfa Police cars are a common sight in Italy, with models like the Alfetta, 90, 75, 155, 156, and 159 serving in the past. The Giulia nameplate’s long-standing presence in the Carabinieri fleet, meanwhile, actually dates back to the 1950s, when the original 1900 “Matta” and 1900 sedan became symbols of the Italian police. Today, the Quadrifoglio continues that tradition, modern, fast, and tailored for law enforcement operations.  ”The operational reliability of these vehicles is a vital tool for saving lives. And when we speak of saving lives, we refer to the highest mission an Institution can pursue, and the noblest service one can offer to their community.” - General Commander, Gen. C.A. Salvatore Luongo. Italy has a long tradition of putting its supercars to work for the public good. Lamborghini famously supplied the Polizia di Stato with Gallardos and later Huracáns, both V10-powered patrol cars that can rocket down the Autostrada equipped with refrigerated storage for organ transport and defibrillator systems for emergency response.  Maseratis have previously served in police fleets with supercars elsewhere; this marks a historic first in Italy. For the Carabinieri, it’s another chapter in a 70-year story that began with humble Alfa sedans and now continues to evolve with the inclusion of exotic cars, being redirected towards serving the public and saving lives. Maserati GT2 Debuts Stateside at GT America in Indianapolis

While most of the attention this past weekend was fixed on the annual Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix in Austin, something equally significant unfolded at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, up north. Maserati returned to the Brickyard, marking the U.S. debut of the Maserati GT2, a machine that brings the Trident’s century-old racing legacy full circle. The GT2 arrived fresh from its championship-winning season in the Fanatec GT2 European Series, wearing a special tribute livery that harks back to the 1939 Maserati 8CTF. That car, driven by " title="YouTube video" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen> and 1940.  The new GT2 pays homage to that legacy and connection with the circuit, while embracing modern-day lightweight carbon fiber construction, advanced aerodynamics, and Maserati’s unmistakable design. Now type-certified and awaiting U.S. homologation, the GT2 is eligible for more than 20 global championships, including GT America. Maserati’s presence at the GT America is a statement of intent for a brand that wants to race again in America, with real competition. GT America has helped revive sprint-format racing in the U.S. with exciting multi-class events under a bronze single-driver format. Each race weekend spans three days and features two 40-minute sprints on America’s most iconic tracks. It brings GT3, GT2, and GT4 type-approved machines back to close, high-intensity competition. Over in the paddock, Maserati’s lineup drew plenty of attention. Alongside the GT2 sat the GT2 Stradale, a barely road-legal derivative that combines the race car’s DNA with the elegant lines of the MC20 supercar.  Next to it, the MCXtrema, limited to just 62 units. This track-only creation produces 730 horsepower from the same Nettuno V6, dressed in a two-tone matte blue and white “Corse” livery inspired by the legendary MC12. We recently got to savor the Nettuno V6 engine in our exclusive first drive of the MCpura Cielo in Italy. Besides the static previews, there was plenty of action on track, making this an exciting event for Maserati owners and fans of the brand, hosting dedicated parade laps led by the 2026 GranTurismo Trofeo Coupe, while select guests were treated to MCXtrema Hot Laps on the oval. Maserati’s comeback in Indianapolis marks the Trident’s true return to American racing. View All Maseratis For Sale Images: Maserati
