Celebrating a century of its brand and 140 years of automotive innovation, Mercedes-Benz is one of the most historic names in the automotive industry. The brand’s decades of milestone cars serve as inspiration for its creations today, including a new collaboration with designer Colm Dillane, founder of the KidSuper brand.
The collaboration comes in the midst of the World Cup, where countries across the globe have come together to compete for one of soccer’s most coveted achievements. Seven nations, each of which has one or more stars on its jersey, are celebrated with the partnership, which pairs each with carefully curated cars and fashion.
Those countries are Brazil, Uruguay, Germany, Argentina, France, England, and Spain, and each country is paired with a Mercedes-Benz from throughout the brand’s history, as well as an exclusive and handcrafted piece of fashion designed by Colm Dillane. Each vehicle comes from a year in which its respective country triumphed on the soccer pitch, bridging the automotive world with the history of the sport of soccer.
