The car isn't ready for production yet, however. Currently, the car is undergoing wind tunnel testing. This regimen of testing includes checking the performance of the two-stage rear wing as they aim for maximum downforce. Daimler says their experts are working to "bring racing technology to life in a street-legal vehicle."

Those who have ordered a Mercedes-AMG ONE can learn all about the car in a mobile showroom that's called "The Future of Driving Performance." Inside this showroom, customers can sit in the cockpit of the hypercar, learn the status of its development, grab a cup of joe from the coffee bar and more. It's currently residing at the Munich Mercedes-Benz branch.
