Mercedes-Benz USA Sold 78,500 Cars In Q1 2026

Celebrating 140 years since Karl Benz invented the production automobile, Mercedes-Benz has been evolving some of the most celebrated cars in its lineup and introducing new technology throughout. Placing focus on high-end offerings, a new flagship Mercedes-Maybach S-Class has been unveiled, and a new Mercedes-Maybach VLS “Grand Limousine” van has been announced, as well. In the first quarter of 2026, Mercedes-Benz reported sales of 78,500 vehicles, a number that represents “resilience… and strong demand” according to the MBUSA CEO, Adam Chamberlain. Mercedes-Benz also reports that the strong number comes thanks to sustained demand for the brand’s SUV lineup, including the recently revised and highly popular GLC, as well as the GLE which just received an update. In Mercedes-Benz’s Top-End offering, the G-Class enjoyed a 16 percent increase in sales year-on-year during the quarter, while the SL increased by 47 percent. Maybach sales also increased by 22 percent. Core models like the GLE and GLC enjoyed sales increases during the quarter, but the overall sales number for the quarter represents a slight decrease compared to last year. However, Mercedes-Benz looks forward to the remainder of 2026 with new models and updated staples that represent the cutting edge of automotive luxury, and many of its models started the year strong. A new year has begun, and many of the automotive industry’s titans are looking back at 2025’s results to prepare for the year ahead, and in the case of Mercedes-Benz USA, 2025 was a year of major success across the brand’s diverse lineup. Selling 303,200 passenger cars in 2025, Mercedes-Benz USA’s 2025 sales performance represented a growth of 1 percent compared to 2024. Dividing its lineup into segments like “Top-End,” “Core,” and “Entry,” models throughout these segments were important drivers of the success that Mercedes-Benz USA experienced in the past year. For the Top-End segment, the AMG lineup experienced its best year on record, enjoying a 12-percent year-on-year increase in retail sales in 2025, while G-Class sales also had their best year ever, with a 26-percent increase taking place this past year. In the Core segment, the new CLE coupe and convertible models experienced an impressive 53-percent increase in sales over the past year, while the iconic GLE SUV increased by 14 percent, and the incredibly popular GLC increased by 20 percent in retail sales. The GLA was the star of the entry segment in the past year, with sales of the compact SUV model increasing 21 percent year-over-year. Mercedes-Benz USA Increases Sales In Q1 2025

Mercedes-Benz USA looks back on a successful first quarter. The first quarter of 2025 is over, and as one of the most important and celebrated titans in the luxury automotive industry, Mercedes-Benz USA is reporting an exciting sales success for the quarter, with growth in the number of cars sold, with hybrid models, as well as AMG models serving as important contributors to the historic brand’s success in the period. In Q1 2025, 67,400 Mercedes-Benz passenger cars were sold in total, representing an increase of 1 percent compared to the same quarter of 2024. Thanks to a burgeoning availability of plug-in hybrid models, sales of PHEVs in the Mercedes-Benz lineup increased in the quarter, compared to Q1 2024, by a massive 400 percent. In addition, the sales of Mercedes-AMG models increased by 13 percent during the quarter, with the popular GLC SUV contributing as well by nearly doubling its sales during the quarter. All segments of Mercedes-Benz’s passenger car lineup, Top End, Core, and Entry, saw success and growth during the quarter. Mercedes-Benz continues to innovate with AI technology. Apollo, one of the world’s most advanced commercial humanoid robot models, has been introduced to Mercedes-Benz manufacturing facilities, with a multi-million dollar investment made into Apptronik, a robotics firm, to underscore that technological advancement. The Apollo robots are currently collecting data from the production employees for specific use cases. The development of a new “Digital Factory Chatbot Ecosystem” will allow employees to access databases with an incredible ease of use, asking questions about things like best practices or machine maintenance through a chatbot, with the AI able to quickly and accurately answer in multiple languages. Mercedes-Benz USA Reports 470% PHEV Sales Growth In Q4 2024

For Mercedes-Benz, 2024 was a year of growth. It’s now 2025, and with the previous year finished, Mercedes-Benz USA has officially summed up its sales results for the year, and has success to report, both for the fourth quarter of 2024, and for the full year. Compared to 2023, the most recent results represented growth and success for the diverse range of luxury vehicles that Mercedes-Benz offers. During the fourth quarter, the 88,259 passenger vehicles sold by Mercedes-Benz USA represent an increase of eight percent compared to the fourth quarter of 2023. Meanwhile, the full-year number of 324,528 units sold makes for an impressive nine-percent increase compared to the 2023 number. Mercedes-Benz’s year-end reporting also breaks down this number by specific segments, some of which showed impressive growth that spells the future trajectory of the historic luxury manufacturer. Sales of plug-in hybrid models increased by a massive 470 percent in Q4 2024 compared to Q4 2023, thanks to the introduction of a wide range of plug-in models including high-performance plug-in hybrids. The Top End segment (including the G-Class, AMG lineup, and the Maybach lineup) saw a 52-percent increase during the quarter, with AMG specifically enjoying a record quarter, with 16,169 units sold marking a 50% increase. Year-over-year, the Core segment saw an 18-percent increase, while the Entry segment saw a two-percent increase. With an increase across the board in sales for the fourth quarter of 2024 and for the entire year, Mercedes-Benz has demonstrated that its diverse and evolving lineup has proven successful in the United States market, and that 2025 is exciting and promising for the brand. Mercedes-Benz Increases PHEV Sales By 213% In Q3 2024

Plug-in hybrids emerge as the hero of a strong third quarter for Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz boasts an extensive lineup of luxury vehicles, appealing to drivers looking for roadster thrill, sedan comfort, or SUV practicality. With the third quarter of 2024 in the books, Mercedes-Benz USA is reporting a 9-percent growth in its total passenger car sales year-to-date, compared to the numbers at the end of the third quarter of 2023. Comparing the third quarter of last year with the third quarter of this year, the growth is a robust 33 percent, with 2023’s third quarter seeing 64,019 passenger car sales and 2024’s third quarter seeing 85,037 passenger car sales. The most interesting statistic in the quarter was the increase in sales of Mercedes-Benz’s plug-in hybrid models, which is up 213 percent compared to the third quarter. A plethora of new plug-in hybrid Mercedes models have been introduced like the GLE 350e 4MATIC, and the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E PERFORMANCE, the S 63 E PERFORMANCE, and the AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE have also contributed to the increased sales of Mercedes-Benz plug-in hybrids. However, the successful quarter included favorable results for more than just plug-in hybrids. Mercedes-Benz’s Top-End vehicles saw 33 percent increased sales, sales of the Core segment increased by 43 percent, and the Entry segment increased by 27 percent. Mercedes-Benz USA Q2 2024 Sales Surge With 27% Growth In Q1

Mercedes-Benz USA reported a strong Q2 2024 performance, with total sales rising by 27% from Q1, selling 95,596 vehicles. Its monumental growth highlights the continued demand for both Mercedes-Benz's luxury and high-performance models. The core segment, which includes popular models like the GLC, E-Class, and CLE, was a major contributor, with the GLC achieving 17,491 units sold. Additionally, core segment sales increased by 12% compared to the same time last year. In the top-end segment, there was a 5% increase in Q2 2024 compared to Q2 2023, with the GLS SUV seeing a significant 28% uptick in demand. The AMG lineup also saw a strong quarter, with sales up 28% from Q1, surpassing 13,061 units. Mercedes-Benz's focus on electrification is obvious, as the EQB's sales rose by an impressive 88% year-over-year. This increase aligns with the company's expansion of its plug-in hybrid and fully electric vehicle lineup, including the upcoming GLC 350e and AMG SL 63e S. The Vans division also had a positive quarter, with 10,934 units sold. For Mercedes-Benz, the year starts off with improvement. Mercedes-Benz has been one of the most important names in the automotive world for just about as long as the automotive industry has been around. A total of 72,313 Mercedes-Benz passenger cars were sold, paired with 17,701 Mercedes-Benz Vans, totaling an impressive 90,014 vehicles sold in the quarter. The Top-End segment, including the much-coveted Mercedes-AMG models and electric vehicles (EVs), saw a remarkable 15% increase in sales compared to 2022, with a total of 94,391 units sold.
