Mercedes-Benz Delivers 1 Million Cars in 2015

Reports from luxury manufacturers over the past few years have seen record numbers of deliveries and unprecedented rates of growth, and 2015 could turn out to be no different, as press releases from Daimler, Porsche and Jaguar Land Rover report.

Jaguar Land Rover issued their first-quarter reports for the 2015-2016 fiscal year Aug. 7, with a bit of a slide in their numbers. Crediting the decline with a slowed economy in China, total revenue decreased by £351 million (approx. $545.5 million USD*) to £5 billion ($7.77 billion USD*). Yet a slow first half of the year doesn't necessarily determine the second half - as the release mentions, Jaguar Land Rover's sales and employment have both doubled in the past five years, with most of the revenue being invested in research and development.
