Porsche has always been a brand that resonates deeply with car enthusiasts, and its Paint-To-Sample (PTS) program is a perfect example of how the manufacturer stays true to its roots of customization and personalization. For decades, Porsche has offered its passionate owners the ability to choose from an extensive palette of colors. Over the years, the program has evolved significantly, reflecting Porsche's dedication to meeting the desires of its community. Today, the program offers over 100 available colors, including some truly iconic and eye-catching hues. One of the standout aspects of the PTS program is its ability to bring back classic colors from Porsche's rich history. Enthusiasts can opt for legendary shades like Rubystar, Mint Green, or Riviera Blue, giving their modern Porsche a nostalgic touch. Whether we're talking about a 911 Turbo in the vibrant shade of Viper Green or a 718 Cayman GT4 in the striking color of Maritime Blue, the PTS program ensures that each car stands out in any crowd. Today, Porsche has proudly added 11 new shades (Guards Red (Y39) not featured) to its PTS color spectrum, each representing a special historical moment. From Sean Wotherspoon's Taycan Art Car to specially commissioned projects by Audrain Automobile Museum, future Porsche owners will have an even tougher time choosing a color with so many inspirational options available from the Stuttgart factory. Porsche showcases green-themed custom models and floral exhibits at Villa del Grumello. Last weekend, the prestigious Fuori Concorso event took place on the scenic western shore of Lake Como for its fifth year, celebrating the theme "British Racing Green." Porsche transformed Villa del Grumello's greenhouse into a breathtaking display, mesmerizing car culture enthusiasts and Porsche fanatics with unique floral designs and meticulously curated sports cars. Fuori Concorso, masterminded by Guglielmo Miani, consistently draws car aficionados to its picturesque venue, located just minutes from the heart of Como. The stunningly landscaped park provided a perfect backdrop for Porsche's exclusive display. The event's theme, "British Racing Green," a classic shade deeply embedded in Porsche's "Colour of Choice" program, inspired the Individualisation & Classic team to craft an immersive exhibit. Guests were treated to a parade of green-painted Porsches, including the all-electric Macan Turbo and Taycan 4S in Barnato Green and Oak Green Metallic Neo alongside a 911 Turbo S (Type 992) in Aventurine Green Metallic. Each car showcased Porsche's extensive customization options, featuring Heritage Design Package Classic details and bespoke interior elements. Porsche also presented a range of lifestyle accessories designed to enhance the outdoor experience. Innovative products like the roof tent, shoe and bag organizer, water canisters for the roof basket, and specialized luggage compartment boxes for pets highlight Porsche's commitment to functionality and style. Adding to the display's allure, the greenhouse gallery hosted all nine issues of the Porsche Classic ORIGINALE magazine, each paired with an original spare part and set against a floral arrangement. Fuori Concorso 2024 was a small taste of Porsche's artistic flair and loyalty to car culture, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended. New 533HP 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Is The First Hybri...

The first hybrid version of the greatest supercar is here. It goes without saying that the Porsche 911 is undeniably one of the most important sports cars of all time, changing the landscape of the segment 60 years ago and remaining one of the most desirable performance car models in the world today. With incredible versatility as a joyous driving machine, track monster, and even an off-roading champion, the Porsche 911, especially in the latest 992 generation, has shown unparalleled versatility as a performance car. Still, Porsche has introduced yet another fresh and futuristic take on its historic hero: a hybrid powertrain. The new 911 represents the first time that a road going Porsche 911 features a hybrid drive system, and the new, innovative system promises to bring the legendary 911 to the next level of power, efficiency, technology, and futurism. The Carrera features a 388-horsepower 3.0-liter flat-six engine that is twin-turbocharged, with the ability to get from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 183 mph. The silhouette of the new 911 remains largely the same as the original 992 while adopting a more aggressive yet cleaner and more modern look. As the anticipated "T-Hybrid," the Carrera GTS features standard rear-wheel steering and advanced active aerodynamics that retain a subtle look. Its hybrid system features an electric motor at the turbocharger and an electric motor between the transmission and engine, with a compact high-voltage battery that adds minimal weight. The hybrid system is designed to seamlessly pair with the engine to deliver robust but natural-feeling performance. In numbers, the new Carrera GTS boasts 532 horsepower in total, more than the 992 911 GT3 RS. The engine itself develops 478 horsepower. It gets from 0-60 in just 2.9 seconds and reaches 194 mph. On the respected and feared Nürburgring Nordschleife, the hybrid 911 Carrera GTS delivered a lap time 8.7 seconds faster than its predecessor, with performance that felt like a naturally aspirated engine with its power delivery. The new 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera is available in coupe and cabriolet forms, and the Carrera GTS is available as a Coupe, Cabriolet, or a Targa. The Turbo and Turbo S in all of their available body styles will remain available, unchanged from the 2024 model year, as will the GT3 RS. With its first roadgoing hybrid drive system starting at $164,900 for the Carrera GTS, the new 2025 Porsche 911, with a starting MSRP of $120,100 for the Carrera is an incredible evolution of one of the most impactful sports cars ever. Porsche Celebrates The One-Off Coppa Florio 993 911 GT2

This is a true masterpiece of Porsche excellence. Today, Porsche’s incredible luxury performance vehicles receive an edge of personal style through the Exclusive Manufaktur offerings, whether in the form of Paint to Sample colors or more bespoke Sonderwunsch commissions. However, one car from the end of Porsche’s air-cooled 911 era stands out as one of the most legendary, the bespoke Porsche 911 GT2 in Coppa Florio, now nicknamed “Wölkchen” by its current owner. The 911 GT2, first introduced in the 993 generation, the last air-cooled generation of the Porsche 911 before the water-cooled 996’s introduction in 1998, was and remains today the pinnacle of roadgoing 911 performance (although there is no current 992 GT2, the 991 generation’s GT2 RS remains one of the most incredible 911s made). Based on the 911 Turbo, the GT2 combines immense power and lightweight racing focus. In 1996, when the bespoke example was commissioned, the GT2 cost more than twice as much as the Carrera. A wide stance, rear-wheel drive, a fixed rear wing, and more made the 993 911 GT2 a truly incredible performance car, and it was in 1996 that the Wölkchen’s (meaning “little cloud”) first owner decided to commission an incredible example of it. One of just 172 GT2 examples made in the first half of the 993 generation, Porsche Exclusive, now Sonderwunsch, was responsible for painting the car in a bespoke pastel blue called Coppa Florio with matching wheels. In addition, the interior features an incredible contrast, with Can-Can Red leather enveloping the entire inside of the car. Today, the Coppa Florio remains one of the most excellent 993 911 GT2 examples and one of the greatest air-cooled 911s made. Its incredible performance, Porsche heritage, and bespoke design inspire the incredible abilities of Porsche’s Sonderwunsch program today. View All Porsche 911s For Sale Image Source: Porsche

Jay Leno Drives A Custom Porsche 911S Owned By HBO's "The...

Almost as diverse as the automotive world itself, is the community of collectors and enthusiasts around the world who share the same fuel-driven passion for iconic sports cars. Bonding over the common denominator that is finely-tuned German engineering, Porsche purists come from all walks of life and often hold their own stories of how they became car crazy for the legendary 911. On the newest episode of Jay Leno's Garage, Jay spends some quality time with John Lewin and his incredible 1969 Porsche 911S. John not only stands out as a Porsche fanatic but also a star Prosecutor in HBO's Emmy award-winning true crime series "The Jinx."  The 1969 Porsche 911S was originally ordered new by Jim's father and has stayed within the family after being passed down, making a true family heirloom for the Lewins. Ordered in a PTS (Paint-to-Sample) Midnight Blue finish from Stuttgart, Jim had the original color changed to silver as part of a ground-up restoration that further preserved its status as a collector-grade example. The interior also underwent a tasteful transformation, featuring a modernized cabin fitted with burgundy leather comfort seats. Pumping out extra power thanks to a 3.0L engine swap done in 1992, Jim's 911 also housed a mechanically injected 2.0L and 2.7L in the past. Jay and John enjoyed a spirited drive through sunny California, where the 911's upgraded 930 suspension and braking components showcased their talents. As a custom Porsche upgraded to fit the needs of Jim and his driving style, Jay Leno best describes the Porsche 911 S as a "Singer on a budget" as he revs through the gears. If you're looking to build your own German hot rod, check out all the current Porsche 911S examples for sale on duPont REGISTRY by clicking the link below.  View All Porsche 911S For Sale Source: Jay Leno's Garage YouTube

Unveiled: Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Manthey Kit

While Porsche may have developed the 718 Cayman GT4 RS as the most track-oriented variant of its mid-engined sports car, it could still be pushed further. Germany's Manthey-Racing certainly thinks so, unveiling their latest kit for the RS, boasting significant on-track performance gains via a more aggressive aero package, and a new coilover suspension. While its 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-six remains unmodified, producing 493 horsepower, a Manthey-equipped RS chopped a full six seconds off the standard car's time around the Nordschleife. Like the Manthey kit available for the larger GT3, its goal is to increase downforce while upgrading any components that will need to handle the extra loads. The biggest update is the introduction of a larger carbon fiber rear wing, which can now be adjusted in four different positions versus the standard car's three settings. To compensate for the added forces, Manthey reinforces the RS' engine cover. Aside from other subtle aero improvements, the kit includes Manthey's well-known carbon-fiber aerodiscs for the rear wheels, while updated front fender louvers and a larger gurney flap for its rear ducktail spoiler are available as extras. At 124 mph, a Manthey-equipped car nearly doubles the downforce generated by a standard 718 Cayman GT4 RS, from 196 pounds to 372 lb. Given the extra aerodynamic loads, the kit features a new coilover suspension with adjustable rebound and compression settings, which don't require special tooling. Available for both cars equipped with or without a front-axle lift system, the coilers feature 20 percent firmer spring rates upfront. Braided steel brake lines come standard and improve pedal feel. The Manthey-Racing kit for the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS goes on sale later this summer. The starting price is $53,946. Optional extras, such as the aforementioned louvers and updated ducktail spoiler, cost an additional $5,890. However, neither of these figures includes installation costs. The kit is available through authorized Porsche centers that will also install it. For those eager to sample the kit before purchasing, Porsche is offering drive programs at both U.S. Experience Centers.
